To be honest, I worked with a few people like that when working in financial services. Somehow their face fitted and they got a good job. However, as they weren't very competent, they'd continue to get promoted out of harms way. You'd have to smile and nod, placate them in meetings but disregard every suggestion. It could be quite exhausting.

Seems there were a lot of short sleeved dresses about and all made from the same pattern at Royal Ascot this year..
I think Zara manages to not look frumpy in hers.
She has an attitude that makes her appear 'cool.'
I still marvel how the women walk on grass in heels even if they do use those clear heel tip thingies.

It all looked like fairly heavy crepe fabric too, they must have been boiling in them in full sun.
