Evening Chris & Sarah. Its time you stepped up to the plate and show the country how to homeschool, there's a very lot of parents could do with help. YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU. Although failing that your 'episodes' provide the 'what not to do' to the nation.
I don't think that having crisps and a strawberry & cream dessert is considered a healthy breakfast but hey what do I know. By the way don't try and say it was their lunch, not one bread crumb on the plate.
Sarah, it is very important for your mental health to try and continue your day as normal as possible, especially getting up and dressed, maybe its a life skill you can teach your children.
Homeschooling is something you've 'FOUGHT' a lot about, little heads up here, get an English tutor. You like the structure and socialising aspect of school????? Really???? your kids don't appear to socialise with anyone outside of your family.
So you're not setting a strict schedule for home schooling, mmm would that be because youre too lazy or you don't a clue what to do, even though Chris said last night it was all in place. You're going for more of a relaxed attitude but yet you like the structure school gives, bit confused.
You and Chris still have to work online and keep the stores running and have a baby but you were thinking of home schooling for the freedom, again a bit confused. I hope Isla's school is not rushing her learning kit because why should they, she's never there.
By the way you do know you don't have to homeschool Jason, its called interacting. The poor child won't know what's happening, he's never had so much freedom. Not spending his days sitting in a car seat or pram going around shops.
Chris, when you came downstairs with Jason after his nap your voice seemed a bit hoarse, hope its not your bad back, sorry, sciatica, sorry sore tooth, oh yeah, tonsillitis - if it is any of the mentioned reoccurring ailments you have, stay away from your gp and more importantly the hospital. The last thing anyone wants to see is you woo hooing anywhere.
Chris, you said you can't go out because you've been travelling, it was a free holiday, you're not Christopher Columbus, you're Christopher Ingham, you don't travel, you go on holidays. So you were all going out to learn in the garden. What exactly would the girls be learning in your back garden. It's empty, unless it was maths and they were going to count the blades of grass.
I see the snack control boxes aren't working out so great. The girls had another dessert for lunch.
Another life skill you could pair could do is teach the girls how to cook. Now that's a novel idea for you. By the way Sarah, putting holes into ready meals is NOT cooking, I heard the tell tale noise Sarah when you were punching the holes, even though Chris didn't show the worktop.
Yes Chris, I believe YOU were the only person that waited for Boris' speech last night about going into lockdown. Found it strange that Izzie wasn't watching the news, but instead she was having a 'hilarious drama lesson gone wild', personally I would say they were playing.
Sarah, all these friends of yours that's also home schooling (like the rest of the country), I think its time you rethink your friends. Not one of them were able to go and get you supplies for returning home. But well done on getting the Asda chicken in Morrisons, I hadn't realised the supermarkets had started to stock each others food.
Sarah, you say the kids are going to miss a term of school this year. At the rate you take your children out of school, they'll have barely done a term this year!!!
And as for your advise for parents to enjoy this 'special time'. YOU ARE SOMETHING ELSE. Who else in the WORLD would consider a global PANDEMIC a 'special time'. Just so you know a pandemic is a WORLDWIDE spread of a NEW DISEASE, this means currently there is not a cure/vaccine, key words being NEW, DISEASE, WORLDWIDE. Perhaps get the girls to read up on it and educate you!!!
