I agree about the dummy because I hate them but my 3 year old is still in a cot and can stay there as long as she’s not climbing out as far as I’m concerned

Alot of sleep experts (I must admit I've never used one but have read about it as kept seeing judgey comments about cots) advise if a toddler isn't climbing out and they are happy, stay put in a cot. My daughter is 2.5 and still in her lovely big cot bed. For safety reasons we are happy as long as she is. What's the big rush? However we had to go cold turkey on the dummy a few months ago. It was time to get rid, but that was our story. I'm not middle class but I'm just doing what's best for my child.
As much as I feel a bit sorry for Cooper a lot of the time, I do think people always feel pressure to put their little kids in “big kid beds” from so young. I remember Joe Wicks putting his daughter in a double bed when she was like 1 at the end of the day, if they’re happy what’s the big deal? I’d bloody love to sleep in a cosy cocoon fort 
I only put my toddler in a bed because he’s so long and was way too big for his cot bed my next baby is staying in his cot for as long as I can get him in there for!!!

Paid for that cot so you’ll stay in it as long as possible! I feel the same way about going from pram carrycot to pushchair, then to forward facing pushchair/car seat. You guys - I needed to read this today!! My boy is nearly 3 and still loves his cot and I was getting the guilt that I was damaging him by keeping him young. But now he’s staying in that cot until he is 18
Never damaging. It is supported by sleep experts. My daughter has SEN and we feel she is happier and safer in her cot. Its important to know you're not the only parent who is feeling that way. I kept feeling like I was damaging her but she is sooo happy content.You guys - I needed to read this today!! As far as I knew, as long as kid isn’t climbing out, they’re fine to stay behind bars!

I thought it was a bit weird to make it into a playroom... it’s not that big really and what are they going to do, shut him in the shed in the garden alone to play?!
i thought any excuse to get rid of the toys!! it’s just weird!
It is a bit weird but their garden is pretty small and they can see Cooper from the back room/table, nice for him to have his own space if he can’t have a playroom in the house. I’d like it for my kids since we can’t have a playroom either, bloody toys everywhere Have they got a 4 bed? I don’t actually know where they live, is it Richmond way?

I think the houses are worth around the same amount of money but it’s location. I know Harry and Izzy live in Chiswick. (I found it on Rightmove, it’s got more rooms and is bigger than Tom’s)

Living within their means I guess, which i applaud. Why buy a duck off massive house with a mortgage that one day you might not be able to afford, like the Fletchers (which is imo why theyve had to restart mcfly!)
