The Chateau Diaries #61 Loud, in your face and gaudy, it rather sums up the chatelaine!

I agree with you dear Tax Inspector, that it would be good to see her working and paying tax, but I'd personally also. like to see her working on the chateau.

The title of the vlog is "Chateau Diaries". You wouldn't watch it if you weren't interested in chateaus and people who renovate them.
(I had a little fantasy of buying an old property in France or Italy and renovating it. These chateau vlogs have put me off thank goodness! Money pits it seems)
I'll
She appeared on Escape to the Chateau Diy on this basis and that's when I started following her vlogs. Without the programme she would be nobody.
I'm sure many people who subscribed to YouTube thought that by doing so they were helping her with the running costs of the chateau and repairs. Heaven knows how the Patreons feel about her constant travelling. Nothing gets completed. I subscribe to a few gardening vlogs. If they went swanning off to Barbados I'd stop watching.
I never became a Patreon but did subscribe to YouTube and sat through the ads, thinking it would mean more money would be available for the renovations and basic repairs and we'd get some nice vlogs about it. Now I don't because she's just spending large chunks of YouTube income on fine dining and luxury breaks with her service squirrel. Stuff you Steffi and Squirrel Nutkin, change the title to "Eating with Stephanie, a guide to the world's best restaurants" or " The world's best hotels" or similar or just do what your vlog title suggests and show us the Chateau improvements in more detail, instead of hiding it for a TV series that never materialises. Rant over.! The reason I still watch is mainly because of finding the Tattle site. You guys are so funny.

We could send you Boris to show you how to eat scones properly. Please, please take him lovely people across the pond...
To be perfectly honest - I was amazed by her - but mini apron stole the show and early doors 🚪 - I saw similarities in their ability to laugh both at and with each other - same as my mother and I

Since the grifters started accepting gifts 🎁 - isabel was very reserved about the gifts …

then came the change -
The brand name .. ie for Fortum & mason tea 🫖 .. Spode .. ect
the patron -
The mower - the fortune fabric
the grabbing -
the blowing vast monies ….
that they didn’t earn …
with labour of their own backs

the light shone crystal bright - charlatans

and nothing since has shown me any different
At any occasion….🥺

That's a bit harsh-suggesting they are the best restaurants. I would actively avoid the one on Florence. ;) 🤣

A bit Stephfending:she likes to stay in better hotels and eat out in fancy restaurants but to be fair she spends only a few days there. I wouldn't even start thinking to drive 11 hours in a car one-way to only stay 3 nights. With filming and everything it doesn't seem that much of a relaxing holiday. Even in Barbados though beautiful and again a luxury housing I don't believe with travelling, jetlag, preparing the Christie's thing and again vlogging is more of a workation than real vacation. She doesn't allow herself even another day to spent in NYC.... Would never do that myself.
I agree with you on all of it. The room at the Duomo place was a bargain at the price - I would have stayed there. But, I think Steph should not have eaten a 7 course taster menu with wine flight at lunchtime that cost 250 euros because that is going too far. Or have it, but just don't vlog about it. If I were advising her: She would be advising her patrons that she was keeping aside twenty per cent of her earnings from Youtube to pay towards the chateau herself. She would also stop the GAG and say that she was paying $500 a month herself to a different charity each month and invite viewers to match that with smaller contributions and name the givers as it seems to be the acknowledgement that makes them happy. She would also state that gifts of cash during the live would be kept and not spent - and that these would be put towards the future maintenance and staffing of the chateau. She would make clear that Potts was paying 10 per cent of the running costs of the chateau and Nic 40 per cent. (Not the renovations, just the bills they were paying before all this started). Finally, Gerry would be paying for the renovations of his own apartment and once he has moved in, a rent sufficient to cover the running costs of it.

I see all these YouTube comments about MPK’s talents and knowledge…like he’s DaVinci or something. That’s extreme to say the least. To be fair, he does have talents… I have to say he does a good job with filming and editing, and his shots of the chateau grounds set to music, as well as the drone shots, have been beautiful. And his artwork is nice….not groundbreaking, but nice. What work has been done on the cottage is also nice (thanks largely to Sean and Pa…but MPK made the design decisions). However, I’ve found that his “extensive knowledge” is superficial at best…really, just tidbits of info that anyone could pick up with a quick search. A “jack of all trades but master of none” comes to mind. He IS an expert with the Aga…he has more in-depth knowledge about that stove than anyone except the Aga factory! He could probably get a job as a sales rep for them!

Putting my two cents in the Tattle conspiracy jar....

Could seethevolcane be Black Wolf? I mean he was active when Brenda posted that 15 comment, and he "knows" us.
He left after the porn scandal gate, maybe he is carrying a grudge about the site.
I have been wondering, more sinisterly, since Clara alleged Maxim to be Nic. I wonder if Black Wolf was Potts.
To many things coincide: The South African stories, The Amsterdam stories, The fact that he got so rallied up about fake photos. Also, Potts is like a dark haired wolf.
I'm not one to accuse others, but some dots are connecting for me, and I can't ignore them. However, I'd gladly be proven wrong, if Black Wolf does return and sort this mess out.
interesting-@purejuice might have a vibe on it

All that grifters (glisters) is not gold,
Often have you heard that told
Many a man his life hath sold
But my outside to behold
Gilded tombs do worms enfold.

I think Shakespeare was gifted in knowing how Chateaus and grifters work. Quite telling really, as we see reality shows and now YouTube, which sell all there is to be sold.

Maybe they will rent the Marquis apt, or Nic's. Is Tatty going to want to make a bathroom dash to the chateau for a shower every morning?
I wonder if SJ and Tatyana will barely meet? She needs a house sitter, Nati will probably travel home for the winter after B&B is closed and she and her support squirrel will be traveling most of the time.

“The words expressly are ‘a pound of flesh.’/ Take then thy bond, take thou thy pound of flesh…”

Meaning of Pound of Flesh
Something that is owed needs to be paid back at every cost.

I hope Natti is taking English lessons, I can't understand half the things she says. Imagine how frustrating it must be to not being able to express your thoughts and feelings properly.
Natti ?? I think her english is OK... Well... I'm not an english native speaker either !

It was the word 'charisma' that floored me.
I agree, I found him awkward to watch . He twitches and ums and ah's a lot. I only admit to watching a few and couldn't watch more.
We know he appeals to a certain audience and his volcanic friend is positively salivating over him. We are actively encouraging him to learn to count, so I see Tattle as a public service for his followers.

Aside from the grotty circus food, Italians at their most braggadocious, it's my impression that they drank or tasted seven glasses of wine paired to the courses at lunch. This seems Caligulan given headlines anyone anywhere in the world, even the slave master's house in Barbados, could not have avoided without concerted effort.
I stopped watching TV news during the invasion of Iraq and have rationed Trump-centered bad journalism and other bad journalism since.
My IQ has increased by 20 points, even as my brain cells disappear, and my PTSD attacks are controlled. I know how much work it takes.
But there is big huge karma going down. Not just the end of the American century and a pandemic. Her purported interest in history is all bullshit. News flash.
(This piece by Anand Gopal is widely billed as the best piece of journalism thousands of people on Twitter have ever read. He had the novel idea of asking women in Afghanistan what happened.)

(y) 😁😁😁 I have seen the Tatyana vlog, how fun was that!? He needs to keep her, I never fell asleep once! It was exciting waiting for her with him, and he is so in love it is hilarious. When she came out of their love nest in his t-shirt and bare legs...wow! I just cannot get over that she is real, and currently living in a camper van with Selmar 😄 So happy for him! I seriously feared he was being catfished. He looked so alive, like he had eaten all the vitamins in the pharmacy! I think they should buy a little farm cottage in France and keep on being happy & weird together. I am almost considering becoming a patreon...or perhaps I should wait for a specific "Buy us a house" fund me thing happening. Now I can rest. Must work on VIP status tomorrow, today occupied with dad duties as the wife is out on a date (he's gay, -and no not the way SN is gay) I hope Tattlers soon papp the happy couple in NY!

He is the Aga Master and very little else. His art skills are average and his vlog making is tedious - 3 days and 3 vlogs to paint a door. These grannies are seduced by the Peterick blue eyes.

I think Michael did work for AGA in England. I worry he's headed for a Brian Epstein end - an overdose. He certainly has the same addiction Brian had to mean straight boys. He certainly has a sex addiction that controls everything he does. Sex, hustlers and drugs will not end well for him, but he can't control himself. He can't stop himself from spending the YouTube and Patreon money on these things.
