Just to add the TB blood test takes 24 to 48 hours to run in a lab. So is it feasible that he would have seen a Dr, got the test and returned to be admitted the next day. I suppose it could be.
---

Although some states in the USA are saying up to 7 days. Maybe because it's more prevalent is SA they can run it faster 🤔
It's also a possibility that his sons who are doctors were able to have his blood tests prioritised at the pathology office.

Fanny and her library.. pretentious non? BOOKSHELF is what it is Fanny…..
Showing off about her recent wiki search on authors who had TB.

Why not quote Shakespeare’ TB or not TB , that is the question…….

Stephanie you are knowingly sheltering information about a deadly disease. Daily Mail anyone?

No part of that rushing to hospital vlog reassured us that the correct authorities and individuals will be informed. Telling us that should have been the headline ,not that the good news it’s not cancer.

As several wise owls here have pointed out, that recent vlog was a cover up and catalogue of controversy .

Thank you for the info. If Percy was seeing an ENT specialist surely a background check with Percy would reveal he was from SA, a high incidence country of TB and TB can't be ruled out, along with cancer? Percy is the same as any new immigrant from a high incidence country, TB would be on the radar. I think the specialist has been put under the bus.
That's my argument. Surely a fancy private doctor in Cambridge, whether or not he was too fancy ever to have seen a poor peoples' disease, like tuberculosis, would have had bloodwork in hand to eliminate cancer and note in the bloodwork whatever it is a bacterial infection, which TB is, does to your platelets. And, being a fancy doctor, he'd be thinking about South Africa -- if only from Percy's accent, good one @On Repeat -- and what it's full of -- TB. Before he even got his cell phone flash light out.
The American medical lit calls it laryngeal TB (you can also get scrofula in the throat, but the symptoms don't match Percy's ). Lesions may be visible, or not, and can resemble carcinoma. Still, unless -- as is possible -- Stephanie found him a doctor as bad as the first who told him to learn to live with acid reflux -- it would be actionable to diagnose cancer based on the appearance of the lesions, without a biopsy. Doc under bus, correct.

How many times have we written here that Fanny is a liar?
How many times have we written that Fanny always blames someone else?
I haven't watched the last CD and I won't, but I concluded from numerous comments that the doctors made the wrong diagnosis. In Great Britain? In a country where people from all over the world come every day? I do not believe!
I have seen a doctor twice in my life because of a high temperature and without any other symptoms!
The conversation went like this (in short):
Do you have any other complaints? Not
Have you traveled to any exotic countries? Not
Have you hung out with someone who has traveled to some exotic countries? Not
Have you had sexual intercourse with someone you don't know? Not
Good!
We will urgently do a blood count test. The findings will be ready in two hours. If the findings are not sufficient to draw a conclusion, I will have to send you to the hospital, to the infectious ward, to isolation.
Do you see the point?

GP regular doctor in SA- missed diagnosis
Specialist Doctor in SA- missed diagnosis
Dr sons - missed diagnosis BEFORE HE LEFT SA
Maybe GP in UK- missed diagnosis
ENT specialist in UK- missed diagnosis
Miracle speedy, confirmed diagnosis on return to SA. Hospital bed free just in case.

Aren’t P and I mostly based at P’s home in/near Johannesburg, using the beach house during December, January and February (not necessarily a three month stint but perhaps several weeks at a time)?

I imagine they flew from London to J’burg and Percy went more or less straight to the consultant. Eleven hour, overnight flight arrives 7-ish in the morning.

Sunday’s CD remains, and will remain, on my unwatchable list. Based on comments here, Stephanie clearly put on one of her “shows” with an elaborately embroidered version of events. I think we all know by now that anything Mlle Fumée et Miroirs says should be taken with several lorry loads of Guérande salt she so recently rhapsodised about.
I do hope that Sundays flog has been saved in to Wiki? If not would a clever tattler who can please save it.

Percy is diagnosed with TB- an infectious disease. When nurses on the covid wards needed to care for covid patients the requirements for gowning up were thorough. My daughter in law couldn't go to the toilet until it was a designated break (she was fed within the ward)and another nurse came in, otherwise she was basically locked in her ward and not allowed to leave and no visitors were allowed in. When a patient is diagnosed this is what happens.
Blessings to your daughter in law.

I always told them too, but no one listens to me.
And now I remembered. I also visited a hematologist twice because of elevated liver enzymes, (they suspected hepatitis) who explained to me that there is trust between doctor and patient and that I should freely say if I consumed drugs intravenously.
Therefore, doctors always have all possible scenarios in mind and most often go with the method of elimination!

Why would Brenda remove posts from users on her Facebook page regarding Percy and his TB diagnosis?
You can't tell me it's because, as she says, some of the posts "confused" people.
I believe the technical term is called CYA (cover your ass) - not hers, but Stephanie's.

My stepdad died of TB back in the 60s. All I knew about it was he was Ill for a few weeks, went into hospital and died, then they came and fumugated the house. I don't remember me or mum having to be tested though
My grandmother (who did not live with us) contracted TB in the 60s and spent time recovering in a sanatorium. My parents, my younger sister and I were all tested. (I had just started school and was about 4 years old and vividly remember the chest X-ray.)Perhaps there were blood tests too but I don't recall that. I don't know if her home, where my aunt, uncle and cousin also lived was fumigated. My grandmother must have been in the sanatorium for quite some time as I recall that we moved house and I changed school during that time, so it would have been at least a few months I imagine. My parents were able to visit her at the sanatorium (probably after her treatment was underway) although my cousins and I were never allowed to go there to visit. Happily she made a full recovery.

Dear Brenda, please remove your head from Fanny’s ass just long enough to pay attention.

Brenda is playing with words regarding the Association and non profit accounts. She’s saying that Stephanie would be taxed on anything outside the purview of money collected on Patreon for the Association. In other words, for example, money for restoration work would not be taxed (considered the Association), but money for improvements or other things would be taxed (non Association).

But on Patreon, Stephanie very specifically says that when you join at every level you “become a benefactor of the registered non-profit Chateau de Lalande Association, which is dedicated to restoring and renovating the chateau! Your support will be used to bring a beautiful 16th century French chateau back to life.” The Patreon is led to believe that all their money is going to the Association. In reality…per Brenda…that’s not true. According to Brenda, Stephanie could choose to use a portion of the money for the restoration (no taxes on that portion) and another portion for whatever she wants (taxed). For example, 10% of the money could be deemed Association (no tax) and 90% deemed non-Association (taxed) to be used for ANYTHING Stephanie wants…including improvements, travel, clothes, tat, alcohol. Dear Brenda is saying that‘s ok because that part would be taxed, and it’s Stephanie’s money to do as she pleases.

My issue is that it’s very deceiving on Stephanie’s Patreon membership level pages. What Brenda is saying may be true, but it’s NOT clear…it’s very misleading. For all anyone knows, Stephanie might be using nearly all the money for non restoration activities. No one has any idea because accounts aren’t shared. And Brenda defends this by basically saying it’s no one’s business. But if you are led to believe your money is being used for restoration, it IS your business.

Stephanie Jarvis…you are a nasty, disgusting, deceptive witch. And the president of your fan club, Brenda, isn’t doing you any favors. 😡

put this to Wik because it will be changed soon

He would know Percy was from SA, even by his accent if nothing else.
and that still wouldn't necessarily make him think TB or any other ailment. You can't know what happened in that appointment and trust me if that DR diagnosis TB Percy would be in isolation in the UK and admitted to hospital straight away
---
I can answer that!
Straight from Brenda's Facebook page - someone asked her how she "knew" all this information in the comments of her long post explaining about Stephanie's finances (what I posted earlier). I swear, if it wasn't such a font of info from time to time, I would leave this Facebook group because of Brenda and her ignorant attitude.

The coy (read: deceptive) response from Brenda:

They likely took the possibility of cancer as "it's cancer", that often happens.

This makes sense, thank you. He could not have been diagnosed with TB in the UK. (If Fanny's timelines and allegations are even somewhat true, that he went to a doctor in the UK. As our forensic medical investigators note, however, no diagnosis of cancer could be made without a biopsy, the perhaps fatal flaw in Jarvis' tale.)

I just went over to the Brenda's Facebook page to see if there were any Patron pictures and saw a rather large post from Brenda where she says she's explaining and answering questions she's received.

22. For me personally, I would tackle the main building 1st, roof, windows, heating, dry lining etc. A room at a time until every room was finished. Then I would do the terrace, followed by the chapel & my very last priority would be the lake. I could live without a jaunt on a boat....but not with a cold home. But, everyone is different, we all have our own ideas & thoughts about how we would do something....& we all think our idea is better.....but is it really....probably not.
Notice how Brenda, at the very end of her long diatribe, throws in her personal opinion about what order the work should be done. I think she added that part to show everyone she’s not Stephanie’s lackey. You see? Brenda has an opinion, too! Then, her last sentence is self deprecating. Actually, she says, her idea is probably not better. 🙁 In the end, Stephanie really knows best. Brenda is deluded. 🙄

Isn't it the same as promising someone a marriage and then bugger off with her/ his money? Those people are usually ending up in prison? Mr Girardi and Mr Madoff also thought they were smart...

Actually likening her to a tin pot despot is pretty accurate . . . of her own little internet fiefdom.
It probably makes her feel quite powerful and self important, two qualities she most likely lacks in her day to day life.
