Ummm when most people are struggling to heat their homes and feed their families it is not only the height of vulgarity to flaunt your wealth like Fanny, it's also rather dangerous. Didn't people who lived in châteaux learn that in 1789 in France? She's totally thick-skinned and stupid .
i asked my father once when i was a kid...why do all the basement windows have iron bars?? he replied..well... wel into the 1900s people had to make sure their house was attackproof...there were gangs all around the countryside to attack you..The big house has iron bars on the basement levelwindows...the rest has outside shutters ..with a big iron strip who you can lock on the inside...the doors are solid oak with metal and a lott of locks on it...even the cottages and farmhouses on the estate have these kind of protection..and they all had guns and other things to get rid of people who wanted to rob them..in the old days you had to protect yourself...

if anything happens to percy in next 2 weeks someone should scream "murder!"
Sadly I think it will more likely be that Percy gets a bad chest infection he won't really recover from - He is increasingly frail and in the medical world we would say he has poor physiological reserve- he lives in a cold, damp hell hole, that maybe haboring mold with insufficient nutrition no doubt. He will just get weaker and weaker until a infection or multi organ failure gets him.

Correct Wedgwood make the green cabbage plates, and there are also some majolica ones , but much older. The Coalport that Phi Phi bought has everything in that range from egg ups, toast racks , mint dish, tea strainer etc etc .He will be able to spend hours and hours finding all the different pieces , the little prat. His insatiable need to shop and collect 🙄
It’s the same with the blue Spode,He says when yet another price arrives in grabeau’ I did not know that’…You actually know very little about anything. Go BaCk to SchoOl
When Stephanie Jarvis mentioned the "cabbage" plates, I was expecting to see the original, retro, vintage "green" plates too. Which, I personally remember seeing in my relatives' china cabinets in my youth. Not those modern white ones?

Considering all we have seen him do in the 3 plus weeks he’s been there is wear his sunglasses and follow SJ around repeating what she says to the camera; I can’t say I’m too surprised.
@Clara Burnett Any intel on this? I thought he was there for the winter and she was doing Michael a favour? Talk about no room at the inn!

Fanny has vicious sheep to protect her.

Someone goes to the effort of making a replica of the shitto and she has to have it facing the dining room with her frankly insulting charity donations, she has to show those rather than turning it front on so people can appreciate the thing. People who are genuinely charitable don't tend to show it.I am angry with myself that I ever found her charming-I can not look at her now without wanting to scream.

Happy Christmas but honestly there is something gut wrenchingly sickening watching people who are given so much through patron being indulged with gifts worth thousands driven hundreds of miles from Paris. Christmas is so not about trying lots of different treats it is about giving something back when you have an obscene amount. Sorry to be critical but people are struggling all over Europe and this is sheer gluttony and self indulgence not a good look.

I have Arab friends, and those gifts are hands down some of the most exclusive treats of pure AAA grade goodness on the planet! Incredibly generous chauffeured to give you the fresh timely delivery... Sultana does not mess around! View attachment 1822633 You look beautiful in the soft coat Stephanie, really elegant and a beautiful statement for the entire winter season! You're Tonton is smashing in the jacket, perfect fit, and that handsome geometric pocket, how marvelous! I never knew of the Tom&Jerry drink, and now the name of the old cartoon duo makes complete sense! How interesting, and who doesn't love a rum and brandy drink?! Both are great in eggnog, glűwein, mulled wine, on cakes and with coffe after dinner. So many lovely thoughtful gifts of holiday comforts and festivity. I so enjoyed the video of your Tante's and Tonton's gorgeous home and the birthday outing! You're blessed with such lovely loving kinfolk dear, it's so nice to see your whole family together and enjoying the season this year, especially as I'm in lock down now when it was all supposed to be over and just a bad memory. Cheers to all of you! View attachment 1822634

I know.
I feel the same.
She is such a wonderful con artist.

They look like Weggewood plates (but I'm no specialist).
