I see a lot of anti-Philip sentiments going on... Let me pour gasoline on that fire.

Now you've more or less done your clear out, you should make an invetory, and keep it up to date when you add to it. You can code purchase or gift. It would help if you ever needed one for insurance purposes too.

but most of senders state steph could pass the gift on if they don’t need it at the chateau

@minas tirith Yes, but in this vlog Stephanie was very conscious about not wanting to sell items that had been gifted to her, but readily admitted she couldn't remember all that had been. It seems to me that people send her gifts for a variety of reasons, and it's also clear that some wouid be horrified if the items were then discarded or sold.

@WSC Warden true, but lets hope people watching realize anything less than a dozen of the same china wont be used! Better then to send additions to china they akready do use, there'll always be larger dinnerparties than the twelve and they are very old school about setting tables in the sense of matching china, although not regarding crystal or linnen napkins or silverware as far as I can tell. People should learn from what we are seeing and think carefully or they'll need a warehouse at Lalande to keep sky high piles of unused gifts! I've been thinking this all along actually. They must have at least a hundred hedgehogs to sell as well if the aim isn't a palace of kitch

@Gnarbel Jo better yet instead of sending stuff to someone who has so much and the money to buy whatever she wants when she wants, how about giving this stuff to a local charity shop that puts the money into your own community to help those less fortunate than people like Stephanie.

You could do it on computer, Excel spreadsheet

@Gnarbel Jo totally agree!

I think Fanny has a fear of 'officials'. By applying for loans she would leave her operation open to scrutiny and have to do things in a grown up & official manner. Much better for her to flim flam patrons by the 3 cup trick money here there and everywhere all muddled up.
Her reaction to the French water authorities' visit when she drained the lake showed her panic that someone 'official' had turned up. Instead of doing what most normal people would do & find out what the rules actually were & maybe ask previous owner or other locals..but no she panicked to avoid further scrutiny.
I think it comes probably from her family background - ducking & diving around regulations, taxes, inspections etc. A mistrust of authorities & arrogance if they can swerve round stupid rules which are for the peasants after all - then they will do it.
Filling in forms, giving details of her financials just isn't worth it I guess for Fanny as it leaves her vulnerable.

And didn’t you like her snarky comment about needing a lot of pen pals to use up all her stationary? When she does not even bother to send the Patron cards out, doesn't answer emails, and rarely participates in the chateau chats? She said it in an exaggerated voice but I think she was trying to piss people off. And you notice she doesn’t remember getting all the gifted cards, notepads and doesn’t use them. She is showcasing her gluttony every week in the face of her viewers with all her expensive grifted crap stuffed all over the Shittoo.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I fully support PhiPhi's transition to another gender! Perhaps Stepha mememe has always wanted a daughter.
Ironically, Îsabelle has made it very clear that she did not want a daughter.

It seems to me that they, this Sunday, have succeeded in that.
I love reading the comments. I rarely watch the CD (I pause the video), but I read the comments.
There have never been so many bad comments. (and very many deleted)

Today it will be interesting to read the comments on CU:
1. Perhaps those who send gifts today will wonder if those gifts will end up in the store.
2. There is also the option that some will ask what their expensive porcelain collections are to complement them.

Coming to the end of our trip through France. Apart from Nantes when the weather wasn't great we stuck to smaller towns and villages, the shopping and restaurants in these proved limited. Menus are virtually identical from South to North, salads, burgers and pizzas with foie gras, gizzard and duck occasionally, moules et frites near coast. Fingers crossed for a nice lunch today. Id love to find a place with a menu like the place near SJ shown here. Also I appreciate why Lady at the Chateau gang ended up in a supermarket buying bedding and linen, unless you are in a big town that's what is available. The nearest we got to lala was 200k and even then we were in the middle of nowhere with no interesting architecture to attract us.

Thanks. 21 yrs old and that is about all you can safely get out of them in the US, or so I have been told. Yes they are pricey but heating/cooling and a new roof are my priorities and done.
I’m so happy you are here to tell the tale. My alarm went off around 10 years ago and it’s a sobering thought when you realise who’s dangerous it could be. X

So Potts and Ruth have split rather than just a break, as you say ex. Is it amicable, has Ruth cut ties with both MP and SJ, who gets to live in Amsterdam? Is Ruth back in UK permanently?

SJ is quite the village bike!!

That’s true for anyone flying from abroad, but we also have quite a few guests who come by car.
Mainly just focusing on Brits then, as per usual
Imagine having such an empty life that you have a whole day to waste on washing and sorting plates or clearing boxes … over and over. When you think about it travelling is all she has, her days are void of any external variety when she’s in France, she rarely leaves those damp four walls.

I still think most of the comments on the video are made up by Phi Phi or some hired people generating comments, using computer generated names. Phi Phi/ Fanny, under cover as Caroline Gooder is patrolling the comments viciously today,
You mean you don’t think Lois Hampstead sounds like a real name

Something has just clicked, iv always found it odd there "setting up a shop" in the middle of no where, we know fanny has no interest in creating links with the town or her community, so the only reason I can think of is a tax right off or to balance the spending numbers, now she can use the reason "Oh its for the shop" "I don't own that, my business dose" "I used the shops money to buy that"

So broken hearted Potty went straight back to the arms of SJ as seen in her flogs. I bet the red pillow was lobed into the furthest corner of servants quarters and a booster WiFi box bought so all of those gay soft porn sites being followed on Instagram could be readily accessed so he was kept ‘busy’.

Where did they get their clothes from? I mean, look at those pants the tall guy wears.

Look at all of it- beyond embarrassing . The flower girls look revolting, the grass is not even mowed nicely, the pots are dead, the rose petals were scant, I reckon that is manure the glasses guy is about to step into. This is what I mean- they should just give up- no need to even try because they can't manage it. Ed's Anna would be horrified because she really does have a go at it and gives her wedding couples a beautiful day. This is a casual affair, but a few big pots of flowers, big handfuls of petals on the ground, any trees not planted but in pots bought over to group with the flowers. This is all simple stuff and makes the photos of the day so much prettier. Get rid of the misfit flower girls. I wonder how much this couple paid for the chapel and dinner?

Thank you! Absolutely unbelievable how the "upstairs" and "downstairs" of the house has fallen into place. Is Amaury required to serve when his parents are visiting also? Amaury seems to be working his a$$ off in all areas of the farmhouse. He has his head up the chimney, out to water the garden, do a little woodworking, then clean up and serve dinner...Meanwhile, the 25-year-old is sorting china and bossing the owner around.
Where is Dan these Days? Noticeably absent from SJs vlogs.
