The tone of this video should have been a much more sombre . A simple statement that they had separated, wishing love & support to Dan, Annalise and the boys and asking people to watch Dan's video would have sufficed. Frantic fan was giddy like a silly school girl and acted bat-tit crazy. There were so many obvious film cuts which made fan look nervous & guilty about something, and no doubt we'll find out soon enough what part Stephanie Jarvis had to play in all of this.

Okay. What is your opinion of Nutty and what have you noticed about her actions, etc.?

I never liked her. Every time she does her duck lips, I want to rip them off her face, just stop it, you look like an idiot.
Her control over the gifts is unheard of, you can tell she’s always looking, waiting for her gifts and when they are not what she likes, you can see the expression from her face. On many older videos you can see her eyeing up the other guests. I find her a very jealous person. I actually thought she was around 47 years old.

Some rumors (especially the ones with a solid base in the truth) are too explosive to keep ignoring, even more when spread in an environment that is filmed with a not so professional pink iPhone, because things can only get worse. You might call that smart anyway, I call it ignorant.

She needs to be asked by her Patrons that know and in her YT comments about why she hasn't addressed the Nati bullying Selmar & Tatyanna ... as she seems to like to address everything else publicly ...

She will just say she loves them all and feels sad that people can't always get along nicely. It will make her look like an even bigger saint. I've seen her pull that act over and over again, removing herself from every conflict she stood at the base off, pretending it's not about her. It's one of the valuable but morally corrupt life lessons taught by her ol' hag mother.

I very much doubt that Dan made his announcement as a distraction from Selmar’s outing of Natty.

It's not Dan who is doing any deflecting no. It's the master of deflecting Stephanie Jarvis who sees an opportunity in every tragedy around her to gain attention and, more importantly, money.

It is sad when a relationship ends however that was not a relationship that needed to continue when Dan clearly didn't hold her in high regard, which is what she deserves.

I don't know if Annaliese or anyone adjacent to her reads here but as someone a decade older, I've seen a lot of relationships falter after the initial excitement of babies and new houses has passed and the hard graft starts of routine and monotony. She is not alone. It's the first true long stretch of your life, a good decade plus of work and raising kids, and stability is ideal. If Dan's head was turned at the chateau then good riddance to bad rubbish. It's much better that Annaliese has an opportunity to build a life as a single mother or find a new partner than be the dog's body at home while Dan pleases himself for the next decade and onwards.

He couldn't even maintain the whole video without putting it out there Annaliese is doing her own things as well, like he anticipates the criticism.

I truly think reality is catching up with the appearance of La lande as some magical place, SJ struck gold in the moment, but the moment has passed.

So what if Natti was mean to Selmar? He arrived unbidden in the first year of Covid to ingratiate himself into the Chateau. He’s grotty and has bad hygiene. I personally thought and still think that Tatyana is a grifter and a fake. I wouldn’t have let her in the door let alone sit at my table. She’s cut from the same cloth as Stephanie Jarvis but instead of soaking grannies for a monthly stipend Tatty would fill up her luggage with the Chateau’s sterling silver.

This is not about Nutty alone, it's about portraying a lifestyle of love and laughter where in reality it is toxic as hell for anybody but the charlataine.

The vast majority of French women work outside home. They'll have their own pension and have their own health insurance (Sécurité Sociale).
Childcare system is very well organised and cheap in comparison with some other countries.
The only problem would be the taxes. In this case, couple get their Civil Partnership organised (and a common will) to have a common taxation (less taxes than for singles).
Usually they buy their house/appartment under their two names.

Any plans to offer for a Ukrainanian family to stay a short time at LaLande while they decide what to do next? Just curious. This situation there is threatening all of Europe.

Well, of course she wants to have a refugee in Lalande, what "better" way to get more views as the war in Ukraine is top news.
They probably have hand-picked someone "deserving" whom they already know by some connections, so it is not simply anyone they are hosting.
Probably the criteria for selection was that the person has to be OK to be exploited in camera for their anguish to maximize the halo effect for the dearest chatelaine. (What I am trying to say, her motives are probably selfish)

As I am not native English speaker, does "shortly" in this context mean "soon" or "for short time-period" ?
