As Channel 4 announced that her relationship was a goer to all an sundry, then she had to do a so called damage limitation vlog. Similar pattern here. Dropped hints on vlogs, not edited out anything that could be misleading and Dan himself left things in his Vlogs which could also be misinterpreted. He has been branded and hog tied.
It also ensures that her fan base continues to adore and continues to be invested in the Lalande rescue centre.
Sadly she cannot contain other vloggers. Selmar got his manly pride up and his dander began to show. Maybe he had one to many dodgy smokes or cans of strong lager. Tatty decided to be opportunistic and posted a sycophantic public message. (Discretion and private messaging is always the way forward) still Annalise didn't help by posting a pinned post. Personally she would have been better keeping her side private and let it all die down.
Bad move on Dan's part. Those of us with older children and social media, would know they would cringe and call us out if public displays and private lives were on show. Yes, it's on the Internet forever and Tattled about on here. Way to go Dan!
Next we will see FRK, crying and sobbing whilst whipping up some dead wreets, for Annalise. Her suck story follow up will be a huge draw as she poses questions regarding single parent hood and how to manage in the back end of beyond when your private life I all over the Internet.
So I think it's best not to be invested in the vlogs. Whilst I could relate to his vlog with the hard work I saw of a man working to sustain his family, and build a better life. I would honestly say the place is not about life, laughter and love. It's about freezing your backside off working for public entertainment at your own personal life expense and that of those around you.
I never advocated putting children front and centre on vlogs, they have no control over the narrative on there and we all know now that they will be used to promote the image of caring fatherhood. A vlog paints a thousand pictures or in this case a thousand words per thread. Be very careful!
On a side note (considering you don't read on here) that vlog editing was truly awful Dan. Side to front switching and fading out didn't do you any favours juxtaposed against the message you were delivering. The course was clearly a waste of your money, which maybe better invested in providing nursery care for your youngest then you're not dragging him onto a building site. It doesn't scream father of the year to me.

I have personally always felt, the internet is, FFS, forever - do these people not realise that? Get real people/parents, never, ever expose your children to something which they will hate you for in their later life - FULL STOP! Not just within vlogs but pix on FB, or anywhere else, too.
Every company on this planet when recruiting candidates these days does an internet/YT/FB search - simples!
Regardless of what Dan expressed within his vlog - he had already exposed them to what he wants them to avoid seeing so it was 100% just a an exercise in damage limitation on his part.
And, if these vloggers initially decide to expose every element of their home life, families and personal relationships on social media in order to raise funds, from whichever platform they choose, then just like any other "wannabe" celebrity on this earth, they have to be prepared for the backlash - good or, bad. It's a given and therefore ultimately, is open to comments. Why is that such a difficult concept for them to get to grips with?
The reference to wreets always, but always, every single time, makes me ROFL.
I am presuming that FRK actually felt it more appropriate to message Annalise direct - which IMHO, is 100% the way forward if you are truly her real friend. So, kudos to FRK if that is actually the case.
Unlike, Stephanie Jarvis who made it unnecessarily public property with her OTT FB comment and obviously, then the most disingenuous/uncomfortable vlog I have ever had the displeasure of viewing. Pure scumbag.

it wouldnt be a secret if Dan has hooked up with anyone living at the Chateau. so why would SJ offer to let Annalise and the boys to move into the Chateau, knowing this?

Now Dan took her up on the offer and probably continuing the relationship all this past winter and fall, obviously with SJs full approval.

Annelise is working in a school. It has to be a nursery school as she is not fluent in French.

For that sort of job there are several possibilities.
Only helping the teacher: 8.30 to 11.30 and 13.30 to 16.30
+ looking after the kids at the canteen, 11.30 to 13.30
+ staying after school time to give a little goûter and doing games for the kids whose parents cannot pick them up when school is over: 16.30 to 18.30
Long day but more money

4 days of work + school holidays.

If she can do the full monty = salary + child benefit + money for being a single parent. + money from Dan > she can manage in rural France in their house.

Good things come out of bad things:

For her job, she is in the classroom and helps the kids (3 to 6 y): a great way to learn French (and good French) quickly and easily! Soon fluent!!!!

+ Colleagues, socialising, meeting people, speaking French, French living...

Not her choice, but after some harsh time, she will "take off" !!!!!

Meanwhile Dan is stuck in an English speaking self centred ghetto . No opening on life outside the shiteau, like squirrels turning in a wheel . Apart of course, from the chosen ones who travel the world first class,

I noticed on Dan's Vlog about 3 months back they received their carte de sejours- or at least Dan showed his. Good for 5-10 years it seems, so that had to be completed before any public separation if it was tied to family. Then Annalise could also legally work.

I love the thread title that includes Stephanie, Natty & Selmar. The buck stops with Stephanie.

I feel genuinely bad for Dan and Annalise, and the boys. I was his fan. I have always seen him, as you said, as a family man, and I think he was, until, as my fiance mentioned in his post, he got drunk with his relatively successful YouTube career, and poisoned by his involvement with Lalande. We all remember the time when he would stick it up to SJ both in person and on his vlogs. Unfortunately, little by little, he drank from the cesspool of Lalande and we all saw him change, from someone who made fun of SJ's lifestyle and choices to someone who embraced it. I know Dan and Annalise are their own persons, made their own choices, and had their own lives, but I can't help but blame Stephanie for the wreck they are now in. Offering a shelter to Dan at Lalande essentially separated the couple permanently and finished that relationship. My mom always says, "Choose your friends and connections wisely." SJ, with her party lifestyle, choices, deceitfulness, and "success," corrupts and wrecks everything it touches, including that young family.

I understand you are preparing to accept a refugee from Ukraine. I find this news deeply disturbing. This is an incredibly serious undertaking and not something to be used to raise your profile. Life at the chateau seems so frivolous and superficial. Who will provide support for this person. Will they be filmed randomly? How will you ensure their well-being if you're off on your "travels" again? They're going to need a "grown up" to make sure their psychological/physical needs are met.....I don't see any grown ups at the chateau.

What a horrible thing to say. I find it disturbing that you are encouraging people not to accept refugees. You are infantilising a grown woman who has asked to come to Lalande in her time of need. My doors are open to her. No one at Lalande is forced to be filmed, and I always respect their decision. Please think twice before telling people not to accept refugees unless they have professional physical and psychological carers in their home. People need help and housing and they need it now. Welcoming kindness is what’s urgently needed.

I presume that your comment comes from a place of concern about the safety of refugees. We are a place of safety and as such, we have a responsibility to act. The person coming here has specifically asked to be with us and we look forward to welcoming her.

That's not a refugee then, it's a house guest. Still trying to lift up her profile by pretending to do charity.

Thanks for that insight @Hercule P but just wondering, would there be any opportunity for Annalise to enrol her sons within her school as it would obviously make everything so much easier for her. From recollection, I think they both fit the age scale. TIA. And, obvivously, I am certain that Annalise has explored this option for herself too - just like any mother would in her current situation.

In keeping with Stephanie's raison d'etre ;I particularly thought the reference Stephanie made about the choices of stopping at the Chateau, as in, Annalise chose to stay with the children, was very telling.

Chateau de lalande. Cold, inhospitable, purveyor of ruined dreams, bad decor, loose morals and STD's(Stephanie transmitted dreams) It leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I sincerely hope the channel crashes, although I doubt it will. I blame Channel 4 for giving her airs above her pay grade.

probably quite correct , However RED CROSS in france SHOULD be made aware of this in case it is . Look they have systems set up for a reason. When it all turns to custard I hope the egg is on SJ face

Did you expect anything else? I do wonder about all the positive comments on Dan's Vlog as well. Usually there is a flurry of people commenting on his techniques, B roll etc. I had a quick glance (not something I usually do) They're probably policing all the comments. He would be better doing as Kathy does and turn off commenting so as not to encourage debate beyond the statement or better still delete the vlog so his children don't have to view their father's attempt to justify leaving their mother and living elsewhere.
He may get more than a flooded studio in the future.
