I‘m not onboard with Cat being the “other” woman scenario. She just doesn’t seem the type to me, but she does seem the type to be a good friend. If I turn out to be wrong, so be it, but I would imagine if the break up was due to an affair, Analise wouldn‘t be so amicable.

Many of you tattlers have stated that you like and respect Kat. I don’t share that view of her. To me she tries too hard to be witty and her sarcasm often appears harsh and unnecessary. However, mostly it’s a feeling or vibe from her that I can’t quite put my finger on I’m also left with the thought of why she continues to hang around with them? Something doesn’t add up for me.

I listened this morning to a radio discussion on refugees. I noted that in order to adopt a family or individuals you must register with that countries Red Cross. It was explained this is to stop the willy-nilly 'farming' out of people in order to make sure their accommodation is suitable and that person(s) cannot be EXPLOITED by their hosts. I would love it, if some French based Tattlers contact Croix-Rouge. Finally, I see some of us refer to 'the Ukraine'. It is Ukraine, period and to call it incorrectly is deeply insulting and insensitive to the inhabitants of that proud country.

As a divorced but remarried man, I can certainly empathize. Thanks for sharing. Of course they have my support and prayers. At the risk of changing the subject a bit, I saw where the Perhericks are doing something to deliver support to Ukrainaian refugees. Any plans to offer for a Ukrainanian family to stay a short time at LaLande while they decide what to do next? Just curious. This situation there is threatening all of Europe.

Yes, of course. As well as donating the February revenue from Chateau Unwrapped! to a charity working in Ukraine, we have arranged for someone fleeing Ukraine to come to Lalande shortly. Hopefully we will be able to help more people in this way.

That is wonderful Stephanie. Canada is welcoming many refugees either on a temporary measure or permanent.

Oh for duck's sake! I bet this was Little Lord Fondletoy's bright idea. It's just the type of grubby little enterprise he'd think up because image is everything darling. A refugee who will be exploited on camera as 'our lovely new volunteer from the war torn country of Ukraine' - see how generous, welcoming and magnanimous we are. I felt the biggest N tell - red flag, was when SJ was making her extremely disrespectful and most inappropriate speech to the world, was when she said something like, "I didn't feel it was my place to inform everybody", when actually she should have said, "anyone". It must have been eating her alive during the past 6 months that she couldn't tell "everybody". BUT, she sure as hell left an extremely covert little trail of breadcrumbs throughout that period in connection with her filming and subsequent editing skills on that bloody pink phone.

If I was Annalise, I would be absolutely f'ing furious. Who the hell does this excuse of a woman think she is?

Once again, SJ highlighting her total lack of empathy, compassion and downright disrespect of others. Nothing new there then!

Now, back to the task at hand………How does a patron get to see the accounts of the association they belong to? Who do they contact? It is at the point now that the person who runs the association does not want to be open about the monies coming in.
As a past patron I would like to see where my money went. So I would like to send an email to someone about these missing accounts. Who do I send it to?

In my local brocante they had once some bottles with wine, champagne and liquor for sale but there are certainly never any leftovers of that in Lalande

Oh I thought you said you were a past patron. I would've thought that might be a good route to go down as well if you have an account to report her. Frankly I'd have thought that the French authorities (if they're anything like UK ones) would've been in contact with her regarding her finances a long time ago. So maybe she has done or paid enough to satisfy them. I know in the UK you don't have to publish accounts to Companies House if you're only a small concern so maybe there is something similar in France. Also I would've though that she'd need to have some sort of inspection by health authorities if she is operating a business where food is served & a health & safety audit if she is taking in guests? There surely has to be a certification system in place. Maybe @Clara Burnett can clarify if/how she has got round those sorts of official things?

Don't quote me but Chateau de Lalande Association may be registered in the UK perhaps?? I would do a Companies House search on SJ's name there as should bring up all of her directorships. It's a start and as far as I am aware, it's free.

Why? Why the need to make a special video so viewers can hear about this from her? She admitted this is none of her business early in the same video. Milking everyone else's drama for profit. (And maybe to make viewers think there is no discord between her and Annalise which, by the looks of her roots, is very doubtful). Despicable.
