Sir Trotter made a cameo appearance in Bully's vlog. He has acquired a gold watch from WWII, but it is broke, so now he has to go to Rennes to have it fixed. Also, he has been sick, that's why there have been radio silence from him. Geee, what an opportune time to show up, just as tattlers were questioning your whereabouts...

Of course Teabeg finds an excuse to go to Rennes. It's the only place anywhere near with any kind of gay scene. I bet he has an annual membership at one of the local gay saunas.

I think it was during first lockdown that we saw a lot of those little secluded villages getting a lot of young couples moving in and opening back the town's local bar, boucherie, boulangerie etc... It would be such a dream to see people repopulate these lost places. But in reality I think it must be so hard to get electricity, water and internet that not a lot of people are willing to take the risk. U have to be really lucky to find a gem, most of the time the roof is rotten, the walls are damp... better off building a whole new house in the end.
It'll be interesting to see him take on this challenge though.
I would never dare isolating myself in such secluded areas because I think when I'm old the lack of doctors, the lack of transports etc will be a problem... But if you buy young then it's a good opportunity I suppose.

It’s happening in the US, too. People from out of state are moving to more rural states/areas and driving housing prices up astronomically. The local wages do not support the housing prices. People idealize these locations but as you said, they have no idea how remote these areas are, the lack of work and how different it is with the lack of services. There is a severe lack of doctors in the rural US, it’s not unusual to drive hours to get to a specialist if you need one.

Shifting gears, if I’m going to visit a Chateau in France, I’m expecting a French immersive experience which includes obviously the people, the food and the language or else I’ll just go to a nice hotel with the rest of the tourists. How you learn about how people live? See the countryside, experience the local culture. Could Fanny recommend a good local restaurant? If local people found out I was staying there, would they think I’m a whack a doodle, too? (My French is not that good but I would bone up on it before my trip). I can literally smell the shitoo when I watch the videos. When Dan removed the door in the kitchen, I noticed the floor. I know it’s stone, but come on you can sweep it!

Michael is going bald fast. He has a long lock of hair that he combs forward and glues to his forehead. He can't let anyone touch his head of they will discover it and possibly knock it loose. He wears a hat all the time to over this up. He probably has to wear a hat in bed. I had a BF who had this same problem. I wasn't allowed to touch his head in bed - ever. Once I did and could feel how strange it was. It is a lot of work to keep and maintain it. Michael could spend hours a day fussing over it. Until I saw this picture I didn't realze how far back his baldness has gone.

I'll bet Michael lies about his age online, too. He probably claims to be in his 20's.

Getting sick can accelerate the hair loss.

There's lots to read about it in earlier threads, so I recommend a good search if you want to no the detailed storie(s). Basically IJ is from the South, her mother Paulette used to live close to Cap d'Agde. The apartment there belongs to IJ, but obviously SJ can't wait until it's hers (something to add to her already overly expanded list of possessions) so she pretends her mother isn't there anymore and fakes ownership herself. Because it's not a very grand apartment and needs a complete overhaul to fit SJ's standards, she has not shown it on her vlogs yet. Could be a 'restoration'-project in the waiting...

Hmmmmm SJ's standards. From what I have seen, they are pretty low.

When she speaks french she has an accent. An english speaker accent should I say? As someone else's said, the american accent of someone speaking in french is not the same (and all americans don't have the same accent neither I know). SJ has a british accent when she speaks in french. At the end of the day, weither I come from north of France or from south of france, when I speak english I still have a french accent lol. You can't hear the subtilities of my northen french accent when I speak english I think.
A noticable difference would be if someone rolls the r or not for example, then it would translate in another language if you're not aware of it.

Interesting that you mention rolling the “r” when speaking French. That fact was hammered into our heads in the early grades by the nuns and later by teachers originating from France and Belgium. A friend of mine pointed out that I rolled my R’s whereas she did not. Grew up in the same milieu but different schools. So if the R’s are rolled or not does that indicate a region or a native or non native French speaker. ( We both went to French schools)

An interesting idea SJ is hoarding money. She might be, but in my experiences (an accountant as a first career) the more disorganized a person was in real life, it was mirrored in their bank accounts. I'm guessing her money is as messy as her home.
The accounts are probably half-heartedly watched over without budgeting for each project. I'm guessing even the household account is a bottomless pit of cash (groceries and such) no one keeps an eye on.

I don't think she will ever sell. The place reminds her too much of her youth and her father. Besides, on the cash she has now, even with the sale of the residence, she would never afford Italy. Maybe rent for a month or two, but that would be it.

...just checked....the beyotch is now raking in over 34K american $ per mo...just in patreon...now doesn’t that just make you all feel warm and fuzzy inside...

Yes…after helping Billy move the library last Friday, MPK was sick and projectile vomiting on Saturday, but now he’s well enough to go on his trip today. I wouldn’t get within 10 feet of him! Sounds like he had the norovirus…VERY contagious and miserable. Can you imagine if he contaminated a gay sauna?

The part of Ireland that is part of Britain is Northern Ireland (6 counties of the 32 counties that make up the island of Ireland). Britain had an 800 year history on the island before we gained independence 100 years ago.

Interesting times now that Britain has brexited from the EU. Latest example is the introduction of minimum unit price for alcohol in the Republic so many are travelling to northern Ireland where the price of budget beers is about half.
