You need to go to the pink Wiki button at the top of the page where you will find most of the answers you seek.

Read the wiki, it's all in there

I do know what they are in the movie, but one of the delights of this forum is its very creative use of language.
Uncle Google told me it means somebody trying to sabotage the forum.
I do believe there are pix of Larkin and SJ's first husband on the wiki.

Welcome to Tattle you’re going to fit right in.

I didn’t know the Flying Monkeys died when the Wicked Witch of the West died. Is that canon?

I read the Oz series as a child and love the movie, but I could have missed this. Like I didn’t realise Breakfast at Tiffany’s was about escorts until I read the book.

Wouldn‘t a former VIP know what a Flying Monkey is? The term has been around for a long time now. By the looks of the threads filled with new members, I’d say we need an industrial sized can of Flying Monkey repellant
I had a sense of what it meant when used by fair-minded defenders of this forum, somewhat blurred by others using the term in bad faith. Precision is always the best place to stand in for someone accused of something by somebody they respect.

Think you need to go to the NaNoWriMo at M&M Chateau. These are a great start for some modern fairy tales.

Not to derail but I’m doing a wage survey for a client. Along with her annual salary, one participant has calculated that she makes .12 us every time she has to tell someone to put their mask on properly. Sad and hilarious but probably the only way to stay sane.

A lot of people are really suffering in their jobs and lives right now. Covid has stressed everyone and everything. So if you took comfort or a mental break watching CD and got pulled in, don’t be too hard on yourself. It’s reasonable to take someone at their word, you are acting in good faith. If you find out it was a ruse, that’s on that person. Being open to new information or ideas, kind and compassionate are good qualities so don’t be embarrassed if you fell in love with the story of the shitoo in France. It is a good story, they’ve just left a lot out that may change your perspective.

@Le Comte de Monte Cristo vs @billybudd
Me :

@billybudd you sure seem to have a particular writing style. I'm sure the OGs of this forum would have recognised it already... So I'm intrigued as to what the following interactions with the tattlers agents will be like. Good luck, and may the odds always be in your favour chap!

Haha, you and I keep on going over this, one day we'll get a proper confirmation, but until I see something in black and white from an insititute of education I'm not going to believe her. As someone else says about their grandchildren, my daughter had an internet presence of about 6 articles by the time she was 10, but if you key in SJ's name you only get stuff about CD.

Everytime I take a short break from my dear Tattlers, 10 or more pages go by! I was very happy to read about all the new members who have recently joined. Welcome, all! (Unless you are a flying )!

I can't understand this either. It would have been my first priority before opening for the last tourist season. As to Dan, maybe he's happy to get more and more air time and constantly puts himself forward. He seems to lap it up as much as SJ.

Diesel is always unrecognisable after having a rare haircut! He looks so much better but it's very strange that he had to go through the summer heat in France with very thick, long hair and now, when it's the coldest time of the year in the UK, he has a haircut! Tati probably insisted on it. The Tesco supermarket tour was excruciating as all his shop tours are. Tati's reading aloud of the church and county info was dreadful. It's always obvious when Spenderalla (that was a good name someone suggested!) is reading from Wikipedia or guidebooks and Tati is even worse. The blast of music in Selmar's vlogs is always too loud and sounds distorted. For non-UK Tatlers: be assured, there are plenty of much more interesting and beautiful places in both Suffolk and Norfolk, but Selmar manages to make everything boring. His vlogs would never encourage anyone to expect anything enjoyable, interesting, or exciting in their proposed festivals and dance salons.

Fanny was born in 1975. She was 20 in 1995 this is about the time she was singing/training I think? Youtube started in 2005, Facebook 2004. She is too old to have such a presence. But saying that, if there was some wonderful performance Fanny who be flogging it on her vlog. She just likes to say she was an opera singer, it makes for a good introduction on Chateau DIY

Very gently, may I say I think nobody's versus anybody here? Obviously I do not speak for him, but I do for me.

He really is like a little child! No woman in their 40s, late 40s should find him sexually attractive at all!
That reminds me of a season of the Real Housewives of New York, when 50-something Carol Radziwill dated a 20-something chef and was called a pedophile by Countess Luann.
