Watched one from the final series last night. 'That Type of Cop.'
Jo was always a favourite of mine anyway but she was brilliant altogether when she became sergeant.
When she joked to Leon he has to get her coffees as sergeant so he started walking off in the dark to find one 🤭

In the middle of a serious case! 😁

She was so kind to Terry in the episode I watched last night. Max was acting the maggot as usual, and Terry was upset by the case anyway.

Poor Grace is having a hard time of it in the episodes I watched this week. Neil is being awful to her, and she doesn't know why. His son is having treatment for leukaemia but nobody knows that apart from Banksy.

I watched some from the series on U&W at the weekend. I'd forgotten how much I liked Lewis. And RAY MOORE finally met his Waterloo. 😁

I go way back. One of my favourites was Tosh Lines. Was gutted when he was sacked in real life. I’m sure Smithy had a reboot, when he first joined it was hinted that he was a racist and then he shot Bob Cryer, went on a break and came back with a new personality.
i also loved the Eddie Santini story arc. We (being a bit sad) recorded all the episodes and binged them. It was like watching an epic movie. For some reason I didn’t watch the last series so may be time to revisit.

Smith definitely changed, he wasn’t very nice at all, when he first started!
I love all the old ones too, especially the Eddie Santini story with “Rosebud”, I think I read on here, they are married in real life!

This is probably obvious but I never understood who placed Andrea at Sun Hill? Did she go through the training?Never made sense to me

Almost at the end of the final series on U&Drama. I hope they will start a different one straightaway. There's stuff I had forgotten like the fact that Grace and Neil got together. Watching one last night where Max tells all the others about them. He kept making very personal remarks to Grace and told Neil not to worry, that his lips were sealed. Ugh.

There's just too much of Max in these final ones for me. I half remembered he had a coke addiction but I'm not sure if he gets found out - apart from by Mickey and Terry.

Unsatisfactory ending to the previous one I watched, maybe the full truth emerges yet. Didn't really like the ending of last night's one either where Max was telling a suspect what to say, so that he wouldn't be convicted of murder, presumably.

Did you find it weird when you’re rewatching and notice all the actors they reused? I guess at normal pace it was aired on TV you wouldn’t notice.
The biggest one for me is the Radford priest son coming back as Callum

Ikwym. 😁

Loved Callum's arrival as Sergeant Stone. Straight into a fracas. I was half hoping he would thump Max last night, but he is just back from a suspension 😁

Also loved the scenes with him and Smithy when he told Smithy he was being set up by Meadows in relation to a statement he gave. Ben had tipped off Callum about what was going on, and he told Smithy, and saved the day.

It just always sticks in my head because the Radford’s was a big storyline

I like the episode where Callum persuaded the p dad to commit suicide
