I thought they were using "eco balloons" made from biodegradable latex? But in this photo it looks like HD is holding a mylar (foil plastic) balloon, which is not biodegradable at all.
Fun fact - "biodegradable latex" that is used to make "eco balloons" (supposedly used by HDs event organisers) can take over 5 years to breakdown and even then it may not be fully biodegraded. In which time it poses a significant risk to wildlife, therefore can not be considered "eco friendly".

Media reports say she let a flare off as well. So selfish, that very weekend there were dozens of wildfires in Essex due to the heatwave. The fire service begged people not to do anything that could set a fire off, and she let's a flare off!

Also just to mention the park would have actually been closed when they were still there I think, so they’ve stayed longer than was allowed and parks dept obviously didn’t care less or went along with this tit show and allowed it. I kind of wish it had of backfired with the tree covered in tat and had caught the effing tree alight, but that would mean such a beautiful area spoilt which is why I am annoyed they were allowed to deface it all anyway, including probably damaging other trees in the vicinity which I am sure are all memorial trees of people relatives, so to hang things from them and damage them is selfish and disrespectful!
To be fair to Paul although he probably has many faults, and could be horrific if in a relationship with him, at least he’s taken a back seat in this shitshow.

There was a posting that the cafe had been asked to stay open late - and I did notice in one of the clips that a child was sucking an ice lolly. And there was a building in the background - presumably the cafe - with lights on. In one of the clips there was a female adult going round with a dustbag on a proper holding ring (to keep it open) and grabbers picking up rubbish - during the event not at the end! Was that local MP Ann wotsit there seeing how she was so supportive ? And that Pastor Steve Gabriel ! Give him his due - he should have been in charge of the whole event - his comments re the child in California was probably his trying to get over the reason for HD trying to get Archie's law (wow he was put in his place for getting it wrong!) / Archie's Army Law (not quite sure adding Army - think Pastor got it right). Sometimes living locally you can get drawn in and afraid to swim against the tide! I noticed an old friend on one of the AA facebook pages and they were so supportive of HD - so shows how easily it is to be taken in - and even worse she gave money to the fundraising! I have not dared to contact her to find out why! Local news reporters have to also swim with the tide - they need to sell papers - and they have probably sold more these last four months than for quite some time. They are guaranteed to sell more papers in February - so they need to keep "the pot boiling". Providing you are not being fraudulent - you do not have to give your correct name (as obviously can be seen on these websites! Even HD has changed her name) and as for showing an address - unless you want a reply......... is there someone willing to accept mail on your behalf?
The chalk on the bandstand will wash off - although how long anyone dare to leave it on there before being called disrespectful....... There seemed to be someone going round picking up rubbish (maybe from the cafe that had remained open) and would't the park gates need to be locked at night - so presumably someone was keeping a watchful eye from a very far distance. There was a clip where a female told a girl not to use a spray can on a tree - and said it was for hair only..... so they were keeping an eye out for bad behaviour. In fact - in some way they were Policing themselves - and they are probably very good at doing that amongst themselves!
And finally.............. I thought Southend Carnival was supposed to have been cancelled this year !???????

I have, they're Pentecostal and extremely cultish, they love to suck damaged people in , the two people i know who got sucked in had mental health issues and crappy self esteem which the church weaponised into self loathing , there's also something which may well be an offshoot in our village - same deal , they loved my next door neighbour when she was at her lowest ebb ,luckily I think they've petered out
