I've just rewatched the interview after Archie's body was allowed to rest.

Their rhetoric is just dreadful. Archie stopped being ventilated, eventually his heart stopped. Suffocated sounds like someone put a goddam pillow over his face. It's not true either when a ET tube is removed in this way and no respiratory effort is made there's no active suffocation as such and if I'm really honest most I nursed for 20 yrs and have always been puzzled about the blue thing. Waxy, grey, creamy weird yellowy yes, 'completely blue'.. Not so much. I feel like that blue tinge is mostly for the living (COPD etc)

Edit because I hit the 9 instead of 0

She won't get anywhere with suing the NHS. She's too stupid to realise how things work. The staff are professional and everything will be documented and actions justified to the hilt. The 'breathing' anomaly on the vent can be easily explained. She thinks everyone is as stupid as she is. She can't even speak properly - 'stats' - she's an idiot.

I worked with someone who was involved in litigation cases for the NHS - She gave nursing opinion - and cases have to be blatant or outright neglect or deliberate harm before people can get anywhere. Even serious cases can take 7-10 years. This vile woman will get nowhere.

Another thing that she's too stupid to realise is that death is unpleasant. People change colour and unexpected things happen. The things she's complaining about are perfectly natural. She's immature and ignorant and watches too much TV.

As I've said i live in Southend you won't find many people who have anything nice to say about her and the entire family. They have caused people nothing but problems anti social behaviour, intimidation, harassment, the 2 sons are weapons grade bleeps. The press have been pretty present around her dwelling there's been lots of people prepared to say the truth. Social services have been all over this family for years. Archie tried to commit suicide 2 days before it happened he was in hes bedroom with a dressing gown tie tied round hes neck hes sister stopped it that time.

I wonder if she tries to sue the NHS they will just lob some money at her to keep her quiet and make her go away. Sometimes it’s easier to pick your battles.
I hope not. She doesn’t deserve a penny from them. They kept her son stable for months on end, they didn’t cause his accident/reason he was there

Without getting too political this is sadly just not true at all. The NHS is in absolute crisis and quite frankly a utter mess. This belief that staff are 'professional' and notes are well 'documented' is fantasy. I've seen it as a patient myself and as a professional working in the NHS my entire adult life. I'm very 'pro NHS' but let's not kid ourselves here. Not everyone working in the NHS is 'professional' believe me.

Hi, new here.
Finally I've found people who are rational, critical thinkers and are questioning this abhorrent tit show.
I've been suspicious of this from the start, how all media reporting has glossed over what actually happened, saying it was an accident. Literally one sentence on how he ended up in hospital. I find it so odd that the media haven't gone digging for more detail. Journalists are professional dirt diggers, so why aren't they reporting on the suicide angle, especially given that it's not that well hidden on the Internet? I'm wondering whether the police have told media to 'go along ' with her version of events in order to keep her occupied with her own lies while they investigate?
I'm also astonished daily by the amount of people who can't see through this family and are on their side. It beggars belief how gullible people are.

Notes may be on point for this case though. Just because of what's been accused of them over the past 4 months and assuming they'd have provided evidence to court already

But I've said before but there are bad eggs in every industry - the majority of us in H&SC are there to help but the system is making it much harder for us to do so, the admin piles up higher. I know so many nurse friends who've thrown in the towel now as they were burnt out which is a shame :(

Whilst initially shocking, this actually doesn't surprise me at all.

I don't think anything will happen, the Hollie show will continue, until it fizzles out, I expect they'll be a few articles about her (I'm envisioning her battle with grief, the funeral, her fight for justice, her fight for rehousing).

The powers that be simply haven't got the tools to deal with her. The cultural divide is so huge she just leaves them puzzled and trying not to get ensnared in pointless shifted arguments and power plays. I feel like this has got so bad, what hapoened to Archie's body is so serious (desecration, disrespect), the law needs to drop it's compunction to kneel to a grieving mother because the truth is more important, as is the longterm protection of individual rights.

For the benefit of the journos and AA lurkers, it’s pretty simple. Hollie is a liar. She knew Archie was dead for months.
Here’s a post by yours truly from July 6, in the Tard Baby General thread, when Hollie tried to prove that Archie was maintaining a stable temperature by himself, and the evil hospital wanted him dead for reasons.
She posted three photos that she claimed she took on three different days.
Only she forgot to move her plastic 7-up bottle.

I absolutely agree with you, however, suing can be difficult as they're a huge corporation with the best legal teams at their disposal.
I've worked for a Trust that has not too long ago gone through an horrendous report, accepted blame etc, but suing has still been very difficult.

To do that would be an admission of guilt. I’m assuming they’ll fight her all the way on this. They have nothing to hide

Only started following the case when it became headline news! A 12 year old girl in my area took her life and was on life support but brain dead, being kept alive by machines just like Archie her family gave her dignity and let her go as there was no hope!! This “mother” failed Archie in his short life and has failed him in death. She made it all about her and her media circus! She wanted the limelight the fame, attention and money!! While she was of jumping interview to interview the staff cared for her son but instead of being thankful she run them into the ground!!

I’ve no sympathy for holly my sympathy is with Archie how he was failed a child in life and death may he RIP

I have no doubt she will make his funeral as public as possible as it will pull on heart strings and the donations will role in
If only she'd 'fought' as hard for him to get the MH he needed when he was alive, she may not be in the situation she finds herself in today.

Let that be her legacy to others.......if she wants one.

Suing is not an easy road can take years and independent specialists have to be found to go through notes and give evidence against the specialists that cared for him

she’s deluded if she thinks she can sue and cash in here I think she’s sucked enough money from the nhs by creating the circus she has

Not everyone is professional in the NHS, but this was a serious child resus case. They worked a miracle just by getting a heartbeat back. All their decisions can be fully justified. They were right to transfer him etc. She'll get nowhere. The NHS don't bung people money to get them off their backs either. They can't do that. She'll have to go and grift elsewhere.
