I ordered onclouds and were dissappointed in the quality so sent them back. At like £160 odd I expect better.

A friend from uni topped up her student loan by selling Primark knickers smeared with Vaseline on the gusset
She could also mail out 10 pairs of keks a day. She made far more money than me, working in Macdonald's for minimum wage

I think it's some sort of weaponised incompetence! I think the problems are genuine (after a fashion) but the advice given never seems to be taken onboard, and the woe is me continues. This poster has popped up many times over the thread with various similar problems, but there always seems to be an obstacle to why they can't follow anything through - device can't access relevant services, buildings inaccessible, everyone else's fault.....

Not really a problem but I’ve just had my offer accepted for my first home 
I’ve lived with my mum all my life so I’m naturally feeling really daunted and anxious at the moment. Any advice or encouraging words? Also the hugeness of it all has totally turned my tummy which isn’t helping! Any anxious tummy sufferer advice appreciated!

Congratulations! There is no feeling quite like the first time you close the front door, youre home alone and you just look around amazed you have so much space and privacy!
The advice I received:
The first shop is surprisingly expensive (it really is!) So try and put money aside so that you can enjoy it and not worry adding up each thing as you go.
Take your time to find your style. There is no rush to decorate and purchase furniture. I didnt listen to this and ended up with a crazy expensive sofa, weird table and chairs, gordie bed, huge sideboard, tit garden furniture and the wrong coloured carpets all of which I hated. I ordered the majority before I moved in 🫠 it was all changed within 18 months!
People will offer you so much and whilst its incredibly kind, do not accept unless you want/need it and will use it. I cannot tell you how much I was given that ended up in the way in the shed or spare room. It is not impolite to say thank you but no thank you. I swear sometimes people do it to rid themselves of clutter
And finally, enjoy yourself. It can be incredibly overwhelming at times, especially the solicitors, searches, mortgage sorting etc so once you get those keys, order a pizza, sit on your deck chair and be proud of yourself! (The best days are the days youre waiting on deliveries and sat on deck chairs in the living room)

Congratulations! It’ll be great. My eldest moved into her first home in August, so these three tips are from their experience. Use a good, recommended solicitor, not the cheapest (eldest did, the seller didn’t). Find out where the stopcock is. Take a pic of the meter/s as soon as you move in.Not really a problem but I’ve just had my offer accepted for my first home
i would also add put a moisture alarm under the bath/water tank in the airing cupboard! stops any leaks going unnoticed and you can catch them before they cause damage.

Has anyone tried any of those shampoos that's supposed to be great for hair growth? An have they worked? Or is there anything else I can do to help growth?
My hair seems to have slowed down, I got colours in it a while ago an preferably it would be best that it all just got chopped off due to how much a risk it was in the first place with my skin condition an how sensitive I am, the colours were started a little bit further down to keep away from my scalp an right now it would be too short for my liking if I cut it the now so hoping there's a way to speed up growth a bit
