I snore really bad. I’m female, overweight but I do believe it’s genetics too. ANYWAY, I went away with a couple of friends (one of which I’ve never been away with before) earlier in the year. And we warned how bad my snoring is and to bring ear plugs/loops. She didn’t and one night I woke up to her kicking the bed to stop me snoring.
Since then I’ve been really paranoid (even paranoid I’m keeping my housemate away) and really don’t want to go away with anyone because of it.

Maybe i should go to the doctors and look into it a bit more but does anyone have any at home sleeping devices they’ve used that’s helped? Xx
Alcohol makes it much worse, as does sleeping on your back. It could be sleep apnea so you should probably check with your GP. I’ve seen mouth taping mentioned but that could also potentially be harmful. I find sleeping on my side kind of curled up with my head down a little really helps.

Tattlers, is this dress suitable for a wedding? We’ve been invited to the actual ceremony and it’s the week between christmas and new year. Everything in the shops is sparkly and I can’t find anything I love except for this one dress! I was however set on having a midi/maxi with it being winter. Is it acceptable?

Been to a few weddings due to a huge family an honestly I see all types of dresses worn now both long an short so I'd say it's perfectly fine, just so long as it's not the same colour as the bridesmaids, but I'd also check the venue an see if you can fine out if it's going be warm enough as well, some venues I've been to are freezing so a short dress isn't the best

If I decided to go to the gym spur of the moment, do you think it would be OK to go wearing skinny jeans and trainers?

I'd think you can wear whatever you want to a gym but am not sure if skinny jeans would give much comfort after a while, I love my skinny jeans but I don't think I could wear them on a few things at the gym just because of how restrictive they would start to be an after a while my legs would probably start to get sore

Have you no leggings or even loose trousers like joggers? You could roll them up an maybe keep them in a bag, most gyms have lockers too

I have leggings but I don't carry them all the time, although I suppose I could leave them in the car . Which only works if I've taken the car. I was more thinking about impromptu
bursts of motivation. I suppose nobody does voice what people wear.

Some gyms have rules agains non sports wear so it really depends. Haven't really seen it being enforced though. There's someone in my gym that wear proper tailored trousers every time, i find that really strange 😅

At my gym you can rent specific lockers. See if yours offer the same. I’m not bothered and just use which ever is free but if you can rent a specific one you can leave some gym clothes in it

Has anybody had any experience with banks not letting you empty your account? We've been saving in an account to pay off our mortgage, I've tried to transfer it and now they're asking for loads of stuff I don't have before they will let me withdraw any

Yes it was a right pain for me when doing an equity transfer. I ended up going into my local branch to make the arrangements in person, it's the best way to do it if you can. Unfortunately far too many people these days still end up losing their life savings to scammers and such, so I do understand why they do it - even if it is a pain!

There is no branch which is half of the issue, I haven't been able to get through to the team who can actually help me all day, I just keep hitting a brick wall 😩

I've literally just got 'if you can't do what you've been asked then tough' basically, not helpful at all, I am genuine and it's all genuine money earnt, if I could just speak to someone who isn't just a standard CS person I'm sure it could be easily resolved. So frustrating just not being able to discuss anything anymore

Anyone done a mock interview on ChatGPT and did it help you? I’ve submitted the person spec and asked for a mock interview. First interview in 7/8 years tomorrow and I am NERVOUS 😬

Have you solved this already? And what excercises do you do? Can't you chuck in a top or shirt and shorts in your bag? They weigh almost nothing

I try to leave leggings and a top in the car. When I buy some new trainers ,I'll leave my old ones there too , which doesn't help if I end up walking to the gym . I actually don't think it would make a difference to anyone else if I did wear skinny jeans, if I'm honest, as long as I had suitable trainers on .
