Someone near me has a sign on their drive saying "No dog fowling" and apart from the typo - I have chickens and I don't want dogs anywhere near them - it works. I would go for that option rather than expensive lion poo.

Don't want to use those machines up town like in boots or Asda etc cause the quality always comes out so crap

It didnt seem injured maybe just stunned. Anyways after a couple of hours it was still just in my garden so I managed to track down it's owner. Unfortunately he cant collect tonight, so im pigeon sitting for the night, im terrified it might die in my care. A bit wary of birds but I don't want anything bad to happen.
The pigeon survived the night. The owner got lost finding us but it is happily on its way home and should make a full recovery. The owner said the pigeon got lost in the strong winds we've been having lately.That’s really lovely of you to go to that trouble. I hope it’s survived the night?

Have you got some good people around you?I don’t know if this is the right thread for it but I got dumped by my partner last week, quite brutally and he just packed all of his things and left. We were going through a really rough patch but I didn’t think but I didn’t see it coming. It’s been over a week but I’ve been feeling worse and worse each day, I know this will pass eventually but my god it is so painful. To think the person I love doesn’t want me anymore.

Is there a company name on the van?I was walking my dog this morning and two builders' vans were parked right across the pavement outside a house, blocking it entirely (and on double yellows to boot). I (politely) asked them to move but they said they were allowed to park there and they didn't have anywhere else to park (apart from the massive drive of the house where they're working). They said people could walk round the van or on the grass. I pointed out people shouldn't have to go in the road and that wheelchairs/pushchairs need extra space, whereupon the bloke said he was going to ignore me and called me a pig. I have told the non emergency police and asked for parking enforcement to go out but it's also been suggested I talk to the people whose house it is (they weren't in residence at the time). I don't mind being bolshy with ignorant construction workers, but I'm kind of dreading falling out with people I may have to see for the next few years. (I've no intention of being rude, but I also will not back down) Just a ramble really...
Don’t feel bad about it. I did the same then went and knocked on the neighbours door to say the workmen are ignorant and I’ve had words with them. In my case the neighbour apologised (which I was not expecting, just wanted him to kno what went on) and mentioned they were rude to his wife as well. No there wasn't or I'd have gone down that route. I knocked on the door a couple of different occasions but they weren't in so I have put A nice letter through the door with my name and number on it in case they want to talk to me. The blokes haven't been back so maybe I scared them off. I do hope so.Is there a company name on the van?
