It is hard to say but it’s much better to be upfront as there’s nothing wrong with saying you’re not keen, it’s not like you’re going to ask her not to be friends with her. You’ll feel a lot better for getting it out there
I'd just be honest an say that you feel you both clash a bit and aren't getting on, that you will be civil if she is invited to things but you'd prefer just seeing your friend aloneWhat I’m about to ask is probably really trivial but it’s really starting to get to me. How do you tell someone you don’t like someone without looking like a bad person? My friend has this friend who I find really difficult to be around because I find she’s one of those that negs you, keeps her back to me, talks over me when we’re out. She met my friend through work and I’ve known my friend from when we were really young. I don’t really like this girl who is friends with my friend and she’s now been invited to something we were doing together with two of our other friends and to be honest it’s really taken the shine off it for me. I’m worried I’m going to come out looking like the bad guy when really I’m trying to protect my own mental health by keeping my distance/not wanting her there cause she doesn’t make me feel good about myself given the way she presents herself and treats me (as I’ve displayed with the behaviour above).
I’ve never had to do this before or when I’ve found myself in a similar situation I’ve been able to let it run off me like water off a ducks back but now I’m older quite frankly sick of being a people pleaser and making myself feel like tit in the process
Last time it was shut, it was dead as a dodo but I think it's because everyone just stayed away. No idea how much extra time you will need. The traffic around this area is currently awful anyway, could you come down before it shuts and stay?Anybody living around London /the M25. I have a question.
We are flying from Heathrow this wkend and BA just informed us that the M25 is shut between J10&11.
Does anybody know how badly this affects traffic? Do we allow an extra hour? Or two?
Thanks for the response. That’s good to hear. Somebody else actually mentioned about east and south and I realised I come from the complete opposite directionLast time it was shut, it was dead as a dodo but I think it's because everyone just stayed away. Yeah I've used them before no issuesHas anyone bought stuff off Amazon an its had a voucher option displayed on it? I need new units an they have a 30% voucher option I can click on for all of them, there's nothing else that I can see that explains why am getting it, just wondering if there's a catch to them that am not seeing, it's bringing my total from £249 to £99, which seems like a great buy but I also don't want to be unknowingly signing up to something I can't get out of, I've never seen these voucher options before on anything previous I've bought
Yes, had before on random things - some kitchen stools one time I remember - usually higher cost items, than small things.Has anyone bought stuff off Amazon an its had a voucher option displayed on it? Thanks, it's a first for me an with how much I was getting off them it seemed a bit strange but I'll take itYes, had before on random things - some kitchen stools one time I remember - usually higher cost items, than small things.
I think better the devil you know, unless the cost of the clutch is more than the value of your car.I've got the dilemma of whether I should fix my car , or let it go .I've recently had work done on it , but I think the clutch needs replacing ,which can be expensive.
If I buy a different car , I can only stretch to something about 10/12 years old anyway, so I'm wary of buying someone else's problem.
Clutches are pricey to have done , it's mostly labour costs cos its a big job... it also needs new tyres , then it's mot will be due , and it's service. I think I've lost my confidence with it a bit .I think better the devil you know, unless the cost of the clutch is more than the value of your car.
Sounds like sunk cost fallacy - you already invested into this specific car and therefore are more likely to put in further money, even if it’s ultimately costing you more (or not less) than if you decided to sell it. How old is your current car? You wrote you’d look at 10-12 year old cars, and there can be a world of a difference between them and yours, even if a similar age….Clutches are pricey to have done , it's mostly labour costs cos its a big job... it also needs new tyres , then it's mot will be due , and it's service. I think I've lost my confidence with it a bit .
I know some people don’t like PCPs and I see why, but my son has his car on a PCP with our local SEAT dealer, it’s a 20 plate little Mii, doesn't cost much per month, they took his very old car as deposit and it gets two years servicing, parts warranty and break down cover as part of the deal xClutches are pricey to have done , it's mostly labour costs cos its a big job... it also needs new tyres , then it's mot will be due , and it's service. What do you need advice on?I don’t even know if I’m in the right place but I was hoping someone would have advice.
I have PMDD and have taken two days off sick this year. Not back to back to separate days.
My boss has contacted my dr for my medical records. I had to give permission and was told it was my choice but the letter basically said if I didn’t it would go against me.
Need to add people I work with have been off since September last year and they’re fine but my two days hell no![]()
Not sure if that's right to be honest, no one should be getting access to your medical records, usually if you are off for more than I think 5 days? It requires a sick note from your doctor but not access to your medical recordsI don’t even know if I’m in the right place but I was hoping someone would have advice.
