A guy called me a maneater back in January and every time they message me I feel hurt by it all over again
I have low self esteem and I am not proud of my promiscuous past.

The advice I'm seeking is how can I let go of this hurt?
Who is he to you?
Why is he still on a position to message you?
First off. You have nothing to be ashamed of l, promiscuous or not.
Once you stop judging yourself you won't care what he or anything thinks. When someone says something about me I always think what kind of person are they? Are they someone I aspire to be?, someone I would take advice from?.. if not .. why would I respect their opinions?. It wouldnt count for anything.

Did he mean to be hurtful?
You don’t need to justify your past actions. You made decisions and are responsible for them but they are your own business, not for others to discuss. If you want to, to take a controlled response, you could say something like you don’t see yourself that way anymore and, while he’s entitled to his opinions, you don’t wish to hear them nor be judged, if he mentions it again, you’ll choose not to entertain it.

Take a look at “The Bill of Assertive Rights”

He's my mechanic but he's also very interested in dating me. He says he meant it as a joke but it didn't come across that way to me.

Correct he came across as a f*cking fool- and if you dated him would that insult reappear during a row- No @Thank(space)you you are out of his league- anyone who hurts / insults you doesn’t deserve your time

Keep communication on topic and distance yourself - or get a new mechanic and block his number🤣

Definitely a red flag, if he's like that when he's trying to date you then what is he going be coming out with when he's more comfortable around you? especially in front of friends, He sounds like a right ass, can you get another mechanic? I know it can be hard to find if you have went to him for years but if ask around for recommendations maybe you can find another an then block him out your life, you don't need people constantly bringing up the past refusing to let you move past it

An the whole "joke" thing is a bs excuse, people use that when they release the other isn't too happy about it an they don't want to admit they were wrong with being a cheeky wick

He has no business remarking on his perception of your past.

Anyone here have any experience of pregnant cats? I can post photos. I think this cat that I’m looking after while its owners are on holiday is pregnant. I’m not sure how to check for certain. I have a vet appointment for her on Thursday and I’m hoping they can confirm. Honestly, I don’t know why the owners haven’t had her spayed. My two are both spayed so I’ve never had this problem.

Why is her being pregnant an issue? Or are you scared she'll give brith while with you? I mean yes, cats should be spayed but a pregnancy isn't like some very stressfull thing.

He said he heard from people 🙄

I think I am gonna have to look around, my MOT and service isn't due for a month so I've got time
I’m so confused - you’ve taken your car in for an MOT and the mechanic has called you a maneater??
I’d have stopped that conversation right there and called his boss over to ask him to repeat it..!

Because the cat is staying with me for 5 weeks so if she’s showing now, she’s sure as hell having those babies in my bedroom 🤣 and I kind of do find that stressful?

Make a birthing box for her. I would go to the nearest supermarket and ask if they have any large boxes. Cut a hole, like a dog kennel, put down some old towels and let nature take it’s course.
You’ll love those kittens and refuse to give then back! 😂

This conversation took place via message.
He owns the garage so nobody to report him to

So you know him at all? Seems an odd thing for a mechanic to text a customer. Just don't go back there and block his number. What a weirdo for talking about you to other people.

Am staying at a place near regent square gardens in London, what's the best and/or easiest airport to use?

LNER have announced strikes an my trust has gone with this company, I've saved for too long an spent too much not to get down there, so looking at flying instead but I've never flown to London before an have 0 clue where the airports are an how far they are from regent square garden or how easy it will be

With the train I am due to arrive an depart from kings cross station, but now I don't know if I'll get down there in time or even at all 😡

Fly into Heathrow or Gatwick. They have direct trains to london. The Heathrow express goes direct to Kings cross and the Gatwick express is about a 5 min walk from there.
