I don’t like the instant coffee at work (it’s Nescafé gold blend!) I normally buy the sachets but sometimes I just want a black coffee.

I really like Kenco brand and want to buy their instant coffee but can’t decide between smooth or rich. What does everyone suggest? I don’t mind buying another brand if there’s a better one out there than kenco? I’m in the uk too x

I was at a cafe and I had an oat latte. After I'd finished mine , someone took their drink back saying their drink was off and the staff made them another drink, which was an oat latte. I'm hoping they originally had a soya latte , but my drink wasn't that nice either
Anyone know what happens if you drink plant based milk that is off?

My daughter has just started school and it seems like ever since she keeps having toilet accidents? I don't know what she's like at school but at home I'm having to change her knickers 3 or 4 times between 3.30 and 6.30? She just keeps dribbling wee, not a full blown pee but enough that she can't stay like it. She says she doesn't know she needs to wee but I think she's just saying that because that's what I've suggested to her? I just hope her constipation isn't back again

I’d try a different pill. I was on cerazette and bled constantly and was sick, switched to rigevidon and 0 side effects. Recently due to migraines I was made to switch to noriday and again no side effects I think it affects everyone differently and it’s about finding the pill for you. But if you preferred it before then you have the option to come off it completely if you wish. Hope the bleeding stops soon its horrible when it seems never ending x

How can I watch Tell Them You Love me in the UK without Sky?

I have Netflix and it is on Netflix in the USA, but in the UK it is only on sky documentaries.

I have a very basic package from virgin media and do not want to commit to a long contract to access sky

So recently a cat has taken to shitting next to our bins. Not sure why, or who it belongs to but I have a toddler so I clean up enough without dealing with this and it’s obviously not safe for him to be near/come into contact with. Any tips for dealing with this?

Can you move the bins? If it's a cat they tend to hate change, moving them if possible might make it wander off somewhere else if the scenery keeps changing

I've accepted that I'm feeling stagnant after a friends wedding. And even though I'm massively confident in some ways, anxiety gets the better of me or my limiting beliefs.

Hello all I’m hoping to get some advice for anyone who’s been through similar please? Asking for a friend. They have just moved house (rented). Both houses are managed by a letting agent and the house they have just moved from they only stayed 11months. There was a verbal agreement in place between the agent, the landlord and tenant that they could do this early as long as they stayed till another tenant was found. All parties knew they would have stayed the full year if needed. Now they have moved the next tenant has fallen through and the landlord is being evasive about the return of the deposit. They are in fact insinuating that because the tenancy was ended before the contract, and the next tenant has fallen through,
The landlord is out of pocket, in reply to a message asking when the deposit was returned. They’ve been told off the agent that they cannot use the deposit as the last months rent especially as the agent was involved and aware of the verbal agreement. The deposit is with the deposit protection scheme, does anyone have any experience with this company regarding disputes?

I’d suggest your friend seeks clarity in writing of what the current situation is and what is being asked of them e.g. are they now being expected to pay rent on both the old property until someone else moves in or just until the term of their contract expires.

A verbal agreement is something to be avoided and sadly they may find that out the hard way. In terms of the TDS - it was set up to protect both parties - tenants from incorrect deductions, landlords for costs associated with damage to the property. If your friend’s deposit is used for rent and then damage is found the landlord would have no means of claiming for this as they forfeit the right to additional claims by using the deposit for rent.

If those are my options I’d pick Luton. The train from there is direct to Kings Cross and probably only take 30min from Gatwick it’s almost 2 hours

You need to narrow down your spec. Laser or inkjet, B&W(mono) or colour, one sided or duplex, print only or photocopy/scan, speed of print, average usage? Then look at the GSM of your card to ensure it can handle it. Call someone like printerland with this info and they'll advise.

If it falls under permitted development they wouldn't have needed it. Might be worth a call into the planning department, If they did need planning and haven't got it they are the ones to stop them.

We aren't long back from London an took a boat from Westminster to Greenwich, an the thing took 2 and a half hours to get out there, we got dropped off at the Cutty Sark as it was as far as it would go an the O2 was a hours walk from there, an the boat finished at half 6

Obviously that was just the one we took, I forget it's name but if you do decide to go for a boat just double check with them how long it's going take to get out to the O2 (if it goes that far) an last boat times as well

Am hoping the strikes will get called off for you though

Whilst I’m on this thread I thought I’d post & not keep this bottled in.
I sleep in a conversion with a very thin wall partitioned between myself the neighbour. For months the neighbour’s son (well I had thought it was him) has been super noisy, playing music etc. I’ve banged on the wall (ugh I know - & I said this to her) but as it’s not my property haven’t taken it any further.
Today I went & knocked (hate confrontation but had to be done) as they were waking me up at 05:00 with music.
Welllllllll, I was nice as pie & explained. Both parents come to the door saying ‘oh it’s not my children’ (well they’re the only neighbours soooo .. also turns out they have 3 teenage children) I came away relieved I’d said my piece.
Justtttt now (at almost 21:00) she’s come around saying ‘it’s def not my children, I’ve checked this/that’ super aggressive.
I was like ‘right okay, thank you, goodbye’. Utter chavs.
