Being an Alex de Minaur fan these last few months hasn't been easy. He didn't know what to do in that third set last night, and he looked utterly lost. I really feel for him.

Such a sad waste of potential; he had the makings of a phenomenal player, but his crappy attitude and crappy behaviour put pay to that.
he had all the potential in the world (and was also a surprisingly articulate commentator when he did that brief run on the bbc a year or so back!) but is absolutely his own worst enemy.
i really wonder how he’s going to look back on his career/life in the end. it could have all been so different if he wasn’t such a prat 🫠

I always think a ban for recreational drugs is a bit pointless. It's not like they're performance enhancing, and if anything, probably detrimental.
I'm reading Andre Agassi's autobiography at the moment. He always claimed to hate tennis, but he didn't know what else to do with himself. As usual, an abusive father plays a large part.
