I really don’t think he understands the damage even something like this could do! Let me tell you I run and my arse and legs are toned but the rest of me suffers. But I run A for cardio B and B is a Biggy (see what I did there) for my mental health! To clear my head and get out. I get more out of a 30 minute run that I do a 30 minute walk.

Discouraging people this way may lead them down a very dark path. Ffs why can he not just be normal and give pro and cons! Running/jogging/power walking all hold a great amount of value in health and well-being.

No it won’t give you the same definition but my mind is clear and I can climb mountains/hills without needing my inhaler anymore.

Why does he have to be a ‘NEGATIVE SALLY’ all the time rather than a Postive influence. Positivity goes a long way with encouragement and motivation.

Because hes an utter prick , and a thick one at that! He hasnt got a clue what hes talking about, yet his arselickers hang onto his every word!

All a bit heavy handed in my opinion, for whats meant to be a friendly support group, So you are not allowed to make a point if its negative? In other words he wants total control and likes to portray his plan as a magical fairytale, where everyone is happy all the time! Its a joke!! He likes to play god!! Can't bear a single negative comment towards his plan! Showing his true colours!

Yes gutted people have seen through the bullshit!!

They werent ' gutted' when they took this members cash, but blocked them! There is a difference between a negative comment and someone being nasty? Playing god as per....
Yep! Totally agree. It’s all a control thing. He must waste hours of his time fighting every negative vibe. He’s a nut case sociopath! The Trump of the fitness world. All the roid rage will do that to you.

That’s Liam from Rebelfit now calling them out about the calorie tracking lipbalm etc. Hasn’t named them but it’s obvious. Hope it enlightens people who are giving RH their hard earned cash to effectively develop an eating disorder!

Check companies house down the years (millions have been made) and also remember they have little outgoings, their memberships is not a physical thing they have to buy to sell.
I’ve seen. They’re so green and he is so fucking clueless I do not for a second believe he has invested or even saved millions. He pissed up so much money on that app, NDAs or whatever the fuck they’re called and fuck knows what else.

Joe Wicks (I would imagine??) is a millionaire. He doesn’t need to reply on a Facebook group and a shitty fucking app.

Their accounts can say wtf they like. If it all went down the pan tomorrow for whatever reason, he’d still need a part time job at jackie whites market (niche joke info there. Sorry) to keep him in protein shakes and enough tissues to facilitate his nightly angry cry wanks.

Edited to add: no shade at you! I just hate that he’ll be pissing his pants with joy at being referred to as a millions. The cock.

This sort of thing really annoys me - yes, you can get some healthy food cheap in this country but, like you say, not everyone has access to it, both for distance/transport reasons and situational reasons - I've lived in some horrendous rented properties, places without kitchens, places without fridges and freezers, even one dump without running water - I lived on crisps and the occasional piece of Dixie Chicken because, as much as I love a nice lentil curry with rice and a side of vegetables, it wasn't possible to make them or afford them.

I left TRH even more obsessed over food than before I started it - I'm semi calorie counting at the moment alongside the tattle weight loss thread but trying to get myself out of the binge-restrict-binge cycle so I'm taking breaks along the way to try and not get obsessive over it or get into the "I had an extra hundred calories, I'm such a failure, might as well eat a whole pack of digestives" mindset.

Something I am wondering though - I wonder what Richie is like as a boss, can you imagine getting your 6 month review from him?
The irony is, that he encourages the binge restrict cycle with his “diet/bulk” process. All these people forcing down cereal and crumpets 🤮 to make sure they ‘bulk’ and build ‘lean muscle’ it’s crazy. I literally panicked thinking I don’t know how to eat anymore and I’ve never been overweight! I used to just eat intuitively and was bloody FINE. I’m finding my way back to it his week.

as for the staff, plenty of affiliates are treated like shit apparently, but everyone is too scared to speak up.

I have just joined an intuitive eating group on Facebook (which is free) to see what sort of advice is offered there.

There’s a whole video here from an ex affiliate revealing what he’s like to work with:

That is dreadful! Im so so sorry you were made to feel like that by those 'monsters'
I remember seeing a video which ex affiliate put on utube explaing the way she was treated by them, it was utterly disgusting, the emotion in her voice was clear to see! It was just after i joined, wish i had seen it before joining!
And to think he tries to portray himself as mr nice guy, what a hypocrite!

Why would asking for calories to be reduced be a bad thing? Isn't calorie counting about calories in vs calories out?
Depends on the day. Sometimes he says it's CICO and sometimes he says that unless you hit your protein and fibre goals you won't lose weight so you can't ask for your calories to be reduced as the only reason you're not losing is because you're not eating the correct types of foods (aka the opposite of CICO).

It’s so disappointing isn’t it? I’m so sad that I became a part of this. I’d been doing amazingly well at intuitively eating and caring for myself before lockdown. I just hope I’ve not done permanent damage to my body.
I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have done any permanent damage from a short period of being a bit more restrictive and counting steps, but obviously I don't know anyone here. Here's my mini story if it makes you feel better tho -
A few years ago there was some big trends in the fitness industry over certain ways of eating. There were courses, workshops, seminars, videos berating you for being a failure and a crap PT if you and your clients didn't follow these ways of doing things. This was all from leaders within the industry and people you'd look up to. Hindsight is wonderful isn't it.

I ended up with some pretty serious issues around food for a while 😬 so I totally get how easy it is to be sucked in to something not too great while believing it's the right thing to do. It's a strange situation isn't it.
It took me being pregnant and thinking wow I don't have to do any of that anymore to chill out a bit and start eating properly. I still can't quite believe I ended up with an eating disorder that stemmed from feeling totally inadequate amongst other PT's.
Funny thing is there was absolutely nothing wrong with what I was doing before all that, only other people's opinions made me believe I wasn't good enough. So if trainers can get drawn into this no wonder everyone else does
🤷‍♀️

Does anyone else feel a lot of the affiliates and members pages are quite misleading? I saw one of the affiliates had shared someone’s RH blog page saying they’d lost 5 stone, which is true but they seem to have only lost half a pound since starting RH a year ago??? I appreciate people often bulk once they get to a goal weight but it read as though she had lost the 5 stone on the RH plan which I think is reall wrong.

Just seen this on ex-affiliates insta. So true! I went and bought weights and forced myself into doing them with no clue what I was doing really. This was after they told me to stop my 3 gym cardio classes a week as they only counted as steps not exercise and swap for a weights session at home 🤷‍♀️
wait what? So steps in a cardio class doesn’t count?

clearly I’ve done fuck all then. I lift my own body weight and run cardio classes but in his book I do nowt 😂

His latest post claiming to be from Rachs mum sounds awfully like..... him ?

I paid for the year up front
I read it as you pay the price whether you pay upfront or over the year.
Bit like if you buy a sofa then decide you don't want it.... You still have to pay it off.
Perhaps they have made it clearer recently but I knew how much signing up would cost me.
Did you know how shit it was going to be too??
Everything is a joke with them and the content is awful
Iv got better workouts of YouTube

Think maybe Rebelfit reads here 👋. Going in on RH in a very thinly veiled way this morning about how it’s all well and good calling people excuse makers if you have all the housework/ childcare done for you.
This 💯 !! Show me someone who works and looks after children all day and runs a household and takes care of elderly relatives!!

So sorry you've had these struggles with them. You are deffo not alone. Hope you're feeling a bit healthier and more in control now you are not listening to unqualified idiots, who never ever listen to people.

I would say you are well within your grounds to contact them and tell them you're not paying for their services anymore. Delete all their data/apps and they can't charge you for it. They are absolutely disgusting and need exposing. We all need to complain to trading standards about them, because giving out unqualified advice is pure dangerous.
Thank you. I hadn’t thought of that but it’s worth a shot. I do feel that they aren’t qualified to give out diet advice and should be mindful of doing so when people have health conditions. It’s not always an excuse and sadly that seems to be the general consensus of TRH. You’re making an excuse. You’re lazy. Work harder. Track better. Do more. Ironically, someone with a thyroid condition has slipped through the net and has posted about not having good results. Can’t wait to see his response to that lol.

Thank you. New to this site so hope that I don’t erase this reply as I did when I first attempted it! Lol
I hadn’t thought of that, about deleting the app. I do think they will argue their point that they have supplied a service blah blah blah. I feel they have a culture of blaming the client. If it’s not worked for you it’s because YOU aren’t doing enough/ tracking incorrectly /
Lazy etc . Well what about when you are doing it all and more and still not losing weight? Surely a face to face PT/ nutritionist would say, something needs tweaking here. Let’s drop the calories by 50 and see how that goes? Something practical and reasonable? No TRH. They know best. Well.. you also expect them to. That’s why you’re paying them!! Sadly, I feel that there is less accountability on their part and that they do get it wrong. I’m probably a minority but I am paying client all the same and they haven’t given the guaranteed weight loss they promised.

I do feel they need to be more ‘transparent,’ ( he loves that word!) about the lack of qualified coaches they use to dish out the copy and paste replies. I also feel they need to be more mindful of people’s health conditions and not assume that members with existing health conditions are using them for an excuse as they very often allude to.
Feeling much better about it seeing this thread and realising I am not alone with being dissatisfied. Thank you

It’s kicking off a little tonight in the members only club. Someone is asking once you can go to friends and family for food how do you track it. People are saying to take scales with you or ask people to save barcodes. Someone has pointed out that not seeing f&f for 1 year you could surely have 1 day off! This can really lead to disordered eating having that mindset of carrying scales around!
This reminds me of a woman posting in the group that she used to take her banana and orange peels home from work so she could weigh them and know exactly how many calories she had eaten. How is that normal behaviour? What's the difference gonna be, 5kcals? Definitely not healthy behaviour

I’ve joined recently on the annual plan and have found it helpful so far, but understand the comments made here.

My husband signed up to the monthly plan and, to be frank, he’s not one for reading things carefully. When he got an email explaining he had to set up a direct debit and I told him it was a 12 month contract on the monthly he said ‘well forget that’ and didn’t proceed.

So he’s paid £6.99 but never downloaded, installed the app, or set up a direct debit.

Is it likely that he’s simply lost £6.99 and that’s the end of that, or based on what I’ve read above should I expect he’ll now be subject to debt collection if he doesn’t set this direct debit up? :(
Fairly certain consumer law is that you have 14 days to cancel a subscription so if I was him I wouldn’t ignore it, I would contact them and say he wants out.
