So glad I have found this thread. I have just decided today to give up on TEAM RH as it just does not work, the amount of calories I have to eat and targets or protein and fibre is just not sustainable at all, never mind the fact I have lost the grand total of 2.5lbs and when asking for help on numerous occasions got told to come back when I have completed a full 14 days on the plan at hitting all targets (even though I explained that there is no way I could eat all the calories that they said I have too). Also he is so rude and forceful to overweight people I am not actually sure how he gets people to sign up
'His plan' does not work for everyone, but he just won't take any form of criticism! Just fobs you off , and of course its all your fault you lazy mother f***ker!

Yes that was very weird- I see he’s now posting about how he’s overweight as this year has been so stressful...
Yet being going on all year about not letting circumstance get in the way of your goals.
If he stood up straight, stopped pushing his belly out and tensed his muscles he’d look more like he normally does. Eejit!

Wow what are the chances that after people speculating about him being controlling and probably not a great partner he just so happens to receive a message from Rachael’s mum telling him how wonderful he is. And of course he just had to share it on Facebook! 🙄 He either sent the message to himself or he told her he’d give her a bonus if she bigged him up considering she supposedly works for him. The guy is a grade A narcissist.

Everyone should read Anti-Diet by Christy Harrison. It’s made me feel so much better about enjoying food. I’ve also discovered that thin inactive people are more likely to have health problems than overweight / obese active people. So it’s less about diet and fat and more about moving your body in ways you enjoy.

Omg I’m so glad I found this!! I thought it was only me that thought this way!! These guys add to eating disorders massively it made me relapse massively!! I know a few who have tried with them as they want a change and have just piled the weight on once they’ve had a bad few days off plan!!! I lost the plot after a few weeks, the price I paid for a year I expected proper help and support! I expected a detailed weekly support network but you get nothing of the sort! It overwhelmed me massively left me feeling confused and useless and that I was failing! Also the scales they sent me were dodgy!! They read 14lb on the end of every stone!! Not 13lb then up to next stone bracket! I threw them out months ago and bought my own from Amazon! It’s taken me 4 months of beating myself up and a another stone gain to get back on track!! I’d lost 100lb on my own in 17 months (maintained for 18months) eating well and exercising, therapy for my binge and comfort eating but panicked in lock down when I gained 18 lbs back so looked to them for support!! What a massive mistake that was!! It put me back years
Well I’m now back holding off 73lbs, I’ve been loosing on my own for 5 weeks now just loosing around 1lb a week ,feeling strong and positive again! Here’s to the future without this crazy controlling messed up plan that is truly dangerous!! My journey will still be a long one but the fact that I’m on it is the important thing! I’m so sorry others have had bad times with them, something just be done to get these guys away from the public!! Good luck to you all on your journeys xxxxx
Yes they triggered off my disordered eating too. I thought I would get a tailored mutation plan to support my fitness, but I just got a diet plan, got addicted to losing pounds again and am having to relearn how to love myself as I am and try not to binge after being starved for months. 95% of diets don’t work for this very reason and I am exhausted from the ordeal of it all. That’s why Richie and Rachael spend their whole life dieting and bulking, as they don’t know how to live a normal balanced life anymore and push their disordered eating into others for profit.

I was with team RH when the app first came out. I always had issues with the app and kept having to raise queries, the response was that I should essentially be grateful that there’s an app as I was paying the same money for the group on Facebook.
this was a couple of years ago so I’m surprised they are Still experiencing problems.
Shit app considering it’s the most expensive on the market as they always say. “We invest our money back into team RH”
Yes of course you do

I never understood the 121 coaching?? Never saw any evidence of that??
No I always posted questions and then other members answered

Just to add anyone who is having issues with them sending payment to debt collection, just cancel the direct debit, let it go to debt collection and explain you cannot pay due to covid. The FCA have made it very clear that companies have to be flexible. If they Don’t play game then just make A complaint to the ombudsman . (They will have to pay the fca fee which is likely more than the debt. Believe it’s £300-500 a complaint.) ashbourne do not buy debt they just collect so their emails mean nothing

For all Richie knows that guy could have been a sole earner with kids to feed / rent to pay. Actual trolling is horrible and I know far too well about being bullied but if it was so bad that it was in dangerous territory then he could have gone to the police and filed a report. If I had a partner who went behind my back to someone's employer because of a message about me I'd be fuming and would be rethinking the relationship.

Also that post about not drinking pop - he posted this on the 15th...

I wish I’d never signed up. Honestly it was working for me and if it hadn’t been for covid I probably would have been okay.
However I was made redundant last April (they didn’t care) i then had covid in may/June and was unwell for quite a while so I lost all my fitness. Again they didn’t care.
I had to pay for 7 months when I couldn't even use it. It was total grief to cancel (how many times does it need explaining).
If they had decent customer service I probably would have gone back to it. I won’t ever sign up to something so long ever again. Disappointing as I am now fatter than ever. Again.

I wonder how many of those followers/members are active on their pages or how many are like I was, dipping in and out but eventually signed up then after a few weeks got fed up but just never bothered to unfollow the members page. I followed them on and off for a while before signing up last summer but I clearly missed all the bullying as I’d never have joined if I’d seen that going on. I wonder how many others are the same. I have to say though, for some that I’ve noticed on there it’s like they’re part of a cult and they hang off his every word. To start with I liked his no BS approach but then I grew tired of the constant and unnecessary bad language and him coming across like a schoolboy trying to say those words to his mates for the shock value.

I like Rachel and there’s a part of me that feels sorry for her and that maybe she can’t see a way out of her relationship with him, but then I think maybe she knows exactly what he is and is willingly going along with him, and her smiley “good cop” persona is just an act 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thank you to those that recommended Preece Nutrition. After looking over his page I signed up late last night (1am) and even received a reply to my message before he went to bed! Have watched the videos on the members page and what a breath of fresh air Peter is; the whole group feels so calm and supportive and far removed from TeamRH. And no contracts!
You’ll be most welcome in Pete’s group. No offensive language, no putting people down, no drama j- ust a decent, knowledgeable guy giving great advice and a group of lovely people. Best of luck on your weight loss journey!

That’s awful.

He would hate me, I often leave the house at 6am for work and don’t get home from work until 7pm, sit on the sofa in a daze (if I haven’t been intercepted by the pub on the way back 😂) then to quote my fav comedian Dylan Moran, ‘eat bread straight from the bag, dipping it in anything runnier than bread!’ Pretty much 😂

Would love to see some screenshots from the group of what he is really like 🤔
Am not in the group now, haven't been for over a year.

When I was a member it was more that he would do a video rant and humiliate you and then others would pile on in the comments which is why I never dare ask for help.

Eg someone would say something like i'm asingle mum, I work in an office, I have to get my kids sorted and I'm really struggling to get my steps. There was no understanding for how much that person was doing or had on her plate just a nasty rant about her making excuses and being lazy and she should get off her arse and get her 15k steps done. The rants would be long winded and repetitive and tbh more than a bit threatening.

Time was one of his arse-lickers would have grassed us up to him.

When I joined, there were lots of things about NOT creating your own offshoot FB group about it & only use the main TeamRH group etc. One controlling bloke & lots of minions hanging off his every word...? Alarm bells. Starts with C & ends with T (not cunt 😂).

So I joined team rh in February
Followed it for a couple weeks
Tried to keep up with their social media pages
Then in the middle of covid realised I hadn’t been using it and find it utterly useless
Contacted them to cancel ...Ofcourse they went on about this 12 month contract
I’ve cancelled my direct debit
And ever since been getting threatening emails from Ashbourne
I did not physically sign a contract so not sure what leg they have to stand on
I told them I could no longer afford it and I wasn’t using any of their services
The constant emails is just dragging me down!

Has anyone seen Richie’s post about Rachael and how she was 150lbs when he met her, and even went up to 165lbs at one point in their relationship. What a way to alienate most of your followers who most likely are over 165lbs, acting as if she was super morbidly obese. That’s a fecking normal weight! How big of him to have got together with her when she was a whopping ten stone something 🙄. Absolute douche bag!
Imagine your boyfriend valuing you on how much you weigh/weighed?! I bet my boyfriend couldn’t guess within 10lb how much I weigh even if his life depended on it 🤣 am actually about 160lb so guess Richie would think I’m a disgrace. But I can run a half marathon no problem at all whereas I doubt I could do that on his ‘plan’ 🤷‍♀️

And that's another reason why he cannot hold people to these ridiculous contracts. They are not getting access to what they are paying for. That is a a stipulation of a subscription service, you must receive a decent quality of goods. He can swivel the app is crap. You get sod all for your money, just some links to his SHOP....🤫
I’m sure he made out as though he’d been let down by the original app developers as an excuse for the app being crap. Another example of him being a hypocrite, nothing’s ever his fault (the app, the affiliates and staff leaving, members being upset when he sends nasty messages to them) but he tears apart anyone who “refuses to take responsibility” in his group - pot kettle! Too many instances of other people supposedly being out to get him, he’s the one common denominator and it astounds me that more people can’t see it!

Preece Nutrition is £4.99 a month and he always takes the time to respond to people personally (he even sends voice messages). He has an actual degree, such empathy and knows what it’s like to struggle with weight. I would much rather give him my money than most of these others who have never really known what it’s like to struggle with their weight and have next to no qualifications, and next to no empathy for overweight people!
That‘s a far more reasonable price. Thank you, I’m definitely going to look into his group. The lack of empathy for overweight people that Richie has is shocking considering they’re who keep him in business, so it would be nice to have someone who’s actually going to help rather than bully.

How does he have the nerve to charge so much a month for an app that relies so heavily on MFP? Which is crap and full of wrong entries. You have to input the info like steps, fluids etc I really don't see what TRH provide you with after the initial "chat"... The workouts when I was a member are exactly the same, never change.

Nutracheck app I manged to get while on offer for £23 for the whole year 😳 it's fantastic for tracking food and everything else.

James Smith also has a free calculator that gives you your cals and protein you need. Just Google it.

The plan itself is fine in theory and worked for me while I had a lot to lose. The way it's run and how money grabbing they became completely turned me off. All the bollocks they try and feed you about caring when without a doubt all they care about is your money. Getting a shady debt collectors company involved was a massive red flag. They only offer the odd free place to try and get others thinking how nice they are and when they need a bit of a promotion boost.
Sums it up perfectly, nobody is questioning calorie counting etc, it is the way they treat people and pretend to be wonderful humans despite leaving a path of real destruction in their path.
