I can’t actually believe it but after lots of manic refreshing these past couple of weeks, I’ve managed to get two great tickets for the Cardiff concert for me and my friend who was desperate to go, via AXS so definitely legit.

Not wanting to sound like a stalker but I know from the chat elsewhere that you bought the tickets around 8:27. Both Stubhub and Viagogo stopped selling at 8:30. Seems to be a cut off time, which makes sense as they don't care then what time she goes on stage.

The chart rules around variants needs to change. It's wasteful and just games the system and affects smaller artists by blockading them out of the charts.

I think Billie was hypocritical but also being honest.

Sorry I have just been thinking about this again and honestly the concept just annoys me so much. It shouldn't be this way, it's just so wasteful and it makes a mockery of the whole chart system.

Overconsumption just disgusts me and all these new "breaking" records for artists are meaningless when they are just selling 8/9 versions of the same thing with minor variations so their die hard fans will eat it all up. There should only be one version that counts towards listening and chart figures. One. One CD, one Vinyl, one digital. It's all just too much.

I also think as a fan I don't know how more people aren't pissed off about it. It's literally artists taking you for an utter chump. The rules really need to change. I just think it's such a reflection of the capitalist society we are in.

Sorry, just been bugging me since the whole Billie thing, she's so hypocritical. It's great she choose to speak about it and I completely agree with her but yet she goes and does the exact same thing. Albeit to a much lesser degree but if you choose to make a statement make it properly for goodness sake.

So long story short I had Stockholm tickets but had to sell them due to being unable to travel because of an unexpected death in the family. By some miracle I managed to get tickets to another show later in the year but don’t even want to say it yet in case I jinx it also my friend is going to Lisbon and I went out to lunch with her today and she said she’s going to get me a handful of confetti

Re the ‘not a girls girl’ thing… like sure she’s trying to hold onto number one but ya never hear male artists getting told they’re ’not a man’s man’ if they block each other on the charts.

Also Billie has released sooo many variants (after making that statement bashing others about variants) including a new one with isolated vocals so she’s clearly not above these kind of tactics either.

I hate the whole girls girl narrative. Billie was calling Taylor out (albeit rightly/wrongly about sustainability) only a few weeks ago. Kim was sharing revenge porn of Taylor. Other female celebrities have made shady comments about her. Why does it only matter about Taylor being a girls girl when it comes to her success? Like someone else said, there’s never this narrative about guys?!?!
