In the prologue she accepts a lot of the wounds were self inflicted so I think there’s some awareness, but the songs represent the emotion while going through it when she was full of teenage petulance and blame.

I kind of get it, I’ve been in situations where I’ve blamed everyone but myself then later I was able to go “ok maybe it wasn’t all everyone’s fault”

we all know she’s the queen of looking in the sun but never in the mirror 😎
