I just find it curious how somebody who claims an academic background in psychology is comfortable with eliding such a complex and sensitive topic as "why somebody would end up dying by suicide" into one 'cause'

In my High School you couldn't access any social media platforms as they blocked every single one.
I’d definitely be contacting the school that allowed minors unfiltered access to the internet as far as I’m aware school computers are restricted /monitored for a reason.

I work in IT. While I haven't worked in a school system, it's simple these days to block whole categories of sites or simply block everything and allow only specific sites that are necessary. It would be against the schools child protection policy to allow them unrestricted access to the internet never mind a gossip forum.
Every child has their own school log in that only permits them access to certain sites for educational purposes , teachers know who/ what/ when they’ve logged in.
Strange that people started using tattlelife to bully the poor girl at the same time she was removed from her mother by SS.
The only things you could access at my High School were sites like Bitesize, MyMaths and some websites for research.
