Because her priorities are all wrong. As you've mentioned above she doesn't have even the basic things such as towels - all she has to show for is her handbags and shoes. And as for Flippio not even having those items either is very odd.
Well at least he has his boots 🤣 Strange really, as someone else mentioned she could have asked one of her best friends to recommend a place to buy household stuff. Instead she is playing dumb again. Is it that impossible to get a wardrobe in Paris? 4 month really?? 🤔

Ehhh idk about Leonie living her truth. She comes across as annoying and a bit arrogant tbh.
Agreed...I find most of these "luxury" influencers to be shallow, arrogant and vapid in varying degrees, but at least Leonie (to whatever degree) is setting some type of bar! LOL I find Tamara just lost in a cyclical narrative of "wtH girl....go buy towels! it's not that hard to do! it's called Adulting!"

And she has her luxury Blundstones and Birkenstocks ...that are hideous af! o_O

Just watching an old vlog from Jaime Xie (I think someone else in this thread mentioned her and now I’m obsessed). Anyway she rejects a Birkin she’s offered and I swear to god it’s the exact same (or very close) Grey Birkin with rose gold hardware that Tamara has just purchased. Jaime calls it “boring” and is not impressed haha. Also the comment someone left 😂

I really wish I could watch Tamara's face drop and her heart break into itty bitty pieces while reading that comment.

Haha! Someone needs to post that same comment in her latest video along with mentioning that Jamie says it is boring!

So I guess she ditched the glass table. What a shame, she invested so much time decorating her airbnb office for all the hard work she did there 😂
Urmmm, this table was probably already there and she will now have to offices as for her a table counts as an office 🤣🤣🤣

I so agree with this and I can't stand this kind of attitude from the so called "luxury influencers" ... I applaud this 🙌👏

These influenzas are one of the main reasons we feel like things are going out of style fast. Before their era, luxury bags were really investment items you would buy and wear for years. Now they are just seasonal trends that you at first like but then quickly get SICK of seeing on every single influenza!! I don't even understand luxury brands that gift their stuff as if they were chewing gums. As a consumer I even feel insulted that they charge normal people (that maybe are regular customers spending their hard earned money on their stuff) 2-5k for a bag, but gift them to influenzas that most of the times wouldn't wear these items nor spend money on them if they weren't gifted.
Sorry for the rant, but I know you get what I'm saying :)

I completely agree! Considering the fact that what was old is new again (Dior Saddlebag, Fendi Baguette), the over-consumption influencers are simply advertising boards. I agree with the EU requesting the use of AD and although Germany is an extreme, they are right to request it. Back in the old days, an ad in a magazine was clearly an ad as well as a sponsored article. The IG influencers of today are no different in the purpose and function. Tamara Kalinic fails to declare her ADs way too often and hides it in the description which is underhanded and sneaky.

I can't remember the "out of fashion" video, but I'd never consider Tamara a leader in what is in style.....she is a follower at best. I prefer Jaime Xi for her style and creativity....and she's a new comer so refreshing ideas are welcome.

Jaime reminds me Fleur De Force - people who have channels and show off their luxury goods because they actually like the stuff. And if viewers aren't a big fan or an item is not "trendy," it's not a huge deal because they don't need the views/ad money anyways. Ironically, it makes them more authentic and interesting to watch as a result while people like Tam Tam are constantly trying hard and falling flat.

I agree! Luxury items like Hermes bags are investment pieces. To me, they are still classy and timeless. Maybe this will be an unpopular opinion. But growing up, I have always associated birkins and kellys with successful women who are REAL boss ladies. Most of these women that I look up to didn’t acquire a birkin/kelly until later on in life (late 30s/early 40s). Usually, these bags were purchased to celebrate major milestones in their careers. I find that very special.

Christine Lagarde, President of the European Central Bank, has an amazing collection of Hermes bags. She looks great with them because I guess it comes down to the fact that she is a lady of substance. You can tell she doesn’t let these bags WEAR her.

So, I really hope ppl don’t take these influenzas seriously.. I 100% agree they treat luxury items like fast fashion. It’s not normal for a regular person to spend 7000 euros on a bag every couple of months nor is it normal to have a stack of cartier bracelets. We don’t know where their money is coming from.
And as for me, I will continue to pick my luxury pieces carefully and SLOWLY add to the collection.

Aaaaaaand another gifted bag she's gonna wear for an ad, LOOOOVE SO SO SO SO MUCH and we'll never see it again. It'a going straight to the Furla/Michael Kors/Pinko graveyard of forgotten gifts.
This makes me so sad cos I’ve been wanting a Furla bag for ages and I am saving for it. It feels almost disrespectful seeing that brands gift influencers what other people have to buy with the money they actually earned

There's an outlet in Turkey that sells Furla and Maxmara for reasonable prices. If you ever go to Istanbul, let me know so I can direct you. And it's real not turkish fakes.
