I've just come across her Night routine video (2015) and fast forwarded it when I saw she put on glasses to read a book. Does she want to look more intelligent as she is a scientist after all?

so our friend Tamtam thinks she's so important because she was included in the Hermes VIP party. Guess she missed the memo that invites are based on how much money you spend in the current time period and it's a pandemic so other high spenders can't attend (e.g. from China or USA). Bloody lame woman living on a fake dream......

Only if she was far sighted, but most people are short sighted and can read books perfectly without glasses (unless the prescription is out of this world bad, but that is rare).
The picture makes it look like those are regular glasses without a prescription, as when the glasses have a prescription, the face goes outward (seems bigger - far sighted) when looking through them like that or inward (short sighted).
Considering her profile/face is in an unbroken line, it appears to be without prescription.
Most people nowadays wear glasses, no biggie, but most people are also short sighted and putting on glasses to read a book is pretty daft.
Knowing her lies and everything and going by this pic, I'd say she did it to appear smarter.
Now onto the real question: Why is this the first time she's come "home" from a holiday to Paris and hasn't shown the apartment yet and the fresh flowers??

There's also the "bourgeoisie" types who make "dollars" in North America and then head back to the balkans to flaunt it in the summers. Still in regards to the Hermès event, let’s analyze how Xenia approached it: did she mention how “exclusive” it was? No. Does she need to stress over and over again that she is a parisian? No. She doesn’t need to lie, deceive, fake...She is the real deal. It blows my mind that she gets along with Tamara, they are the polar opposite, completely different persons.
