I can’t take all the Mark disrespect! He has an amazing, truly unique and distinctive voice and Take That wouldn’t be the same without him. I love him to bits 😊
I'm not a huge fan of Mark's voice... BUT I love all the songs he takes the lead on, especially on the new album. He just brings something to the songs that I can't put my finger on.

I enjoyed it. I always think it’s a shame they focus so much on Robbie when he was quite a short period of the era of Take That. I’m guessing him and Jason don’t get paid for this as it was all archive footage of them.
I like to think they are still in touch with Jason and just respect his wishes not to be involved publicly.
It would have been nice to hear more about them as a three, how it’s different from the 90s, how much more involved they are with the direction of the band and workload. They touched on Nigel making all the decisions first time round but not really about how it works now

I heard Jason was in property lettings for a time before the reunion. I always really fancied him , remember seeing him and Howard on Hitman & Her back in the day. Howard is also gorgeous, i met him before the reunion when he was djing and was drop dead gorgeous and just lovely.
I do love Howard. I’m sure he had his wild times, but he now seems really settled and is a loving dad and husband. He comes across as really self-effacing too, and not actually that confident. He’s been doing DJ sets on Insta Live every Saturday. He had a couple of blips with one of them, and absolutely slated himself for it. Kept apologising for making mistakes and being rubbish.
He’s a proper Mancunian - no nonsense, salt of the earth.

🥵🥵🥵 oh yes THAT ‘dance’ … 13 years old I was and left a gibbering wreck 😂 the amount of times I rewound the VHS 👀
Same. My mum and aunt took me, and I was worried they would say something about it being 'too sexual,' but then I turned around, and they were all but standing there with their tongues hanging out watching it. Honest to God, I could have started a fire, and they wouldn't have noticed as they were so engrossed with it Of course they denied it later until I got the pictures developed and showed them. 😄

I always got the feeling something happened between Nigel and Jason. I think Gary was too valuable as the song writer and Nigel liked to go for the more vulnerable ones.
It was telling Jason only agreed to tour again (in 2005) if Nigel had absolutely nothing to do with them.
Yes I get that impression too. Jason seemed troubled in later interviews. In a different, less destructive way to Robbie but there is something there.

I don't think Gary comes out well out of this documentary. I feel like he's saying a lot of things that he thinks people want to hear. I still think deep down he's only in it for himself.

Controversial opinion: the female vocal in RMF sung by Beverley Knight (think it was the Beautiful World tour) was far better than Lulu.
I like anyone BUT Lulu doing the female vocals...even Gary doing them is better because Lulu irritates the life out of me🤣 don't mind Beverley Knight supporting Gary, she's one of the better support acts TT have had over the years.

The video is on YouTube 🙂 I can't link it but it's the 1st one when typing it n
God that brings back memories. I still have the Live At Wembley & Live In Berlin VHS knocking around in a cupboard as well as the Take That And Party and Everything Changes one. The 93 tour was one of the first I ever went to and was lucky to get about ten rows from the front so when Mark did his bit with the towel and the stage, he gained a new fan that day.

I was lucky to get the front row for the Everything Changes tour and was happy as I got to see Robbie lift his kilt and show off his ass but got pissed because he winked at my mum's friend who came with us. It didn't matter that she was a gorgeous tall blonde in her 20s and I was this dumpy wee 13-year-old...I was mad that she tried to steal my man and ignored her until she bought me a T-shirt as a sorry.

The last tour I went to was the Pops tour where everywhere you looked they were handing out mini boxes of cereal and at the end of the night this poor guy saw we had a car and handed us a cardboard box full of them so he could get rid. I ended up going off of them until they started appearing in the shops and you got a free sticker with them then all of a sudden I was a fan again.

Someone I worked with knows the group quite well.....Confirmed the long time rumours that Robbie is into men and women.

I binged all 3 episodes today!
I saw them at Wembly in 93 & 94, and it was an interesting trip back in time watching the first 2 parts.
About half way through the 3rd part, I unexpectedly started sobbing when they showed Rob up in the rig at the start of The Flood. The last 30 minutes were so moving 😢
Glad I’m not the only one! I was also at Wembley 94 and ADORED them; soundtrack to my youth. I burst into tears at the bit where Pray was a hit, that was the song that got me into them. Also at the Flood - so moving, the lyrics and Rob looked to be crying. I know a few people that have worked with Robbie through the years and he’s a very emotional guy.

I actually did unfollow Howard a while back for this reason, but i've recently started following him again on insta and I find his stories very entertaining 😂 Some stuff I agree with and some I don't, which is fine. Not sure if he's still on twitter, I can't seem to find him.

I totally agree. It caused a huge divide within the fanbase when it all came to light. A few of us had been calling Howard out on his views on Twitter before it went viral, but he just doesn't care. I know we're all entitled to our views but his, IMO, are quite damaging and generally awful. I always say "freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences" which a lot of people seem to forget. I support Take That just for Mark these days (who is amazing solo by the way).
Agree 100% on Mark, he is a vastly underrated singer and songwriter!

I may have become slightly obsessed with Mark's Land of Dreams album and This Life. Much to the husbands upset as I have the vinyls on a lot!

Not sure how I missed Mark's album release initially, but it is such a cracking album - Rio has been stuck in my head for days!
I love Mark’s album! Listened to it non stop when it came out, it’s fab!

I adore Mark. I was front row twice in Birmingham a couple of weeks back and I held his hand and didn’t want to wash ever again 🤣

Yeh what a waste! I’m all for drinking too much but there’s a time and a place. Take That shows usually have a family vibe but last night felt like Nottingham’s ‘finest’ let out of the house and introduced to alcohol for the first time. Such a shame!
Agreed! I can exploit a bottomless brunch with the best of them but not at a gig. Wouldn’t want to ruin anyone else’s night as let’s face it- it’s not cheap to buy a concert ticket now!

I was a huge TT fan as a teen, but even then I knew some of Gaz's lyrics were total rubbish.

"Put your head against my life", indeed. What a pile of shite lad.

I Can Make It from the Take That And Party album, I will ask have a soft spot for though.

I also recall threatening to storm Parliament as a 15 year old When Mr Bloody Blobby best TT to number one. 😂
I Can Make It is still one of my favourite Take That songs, although I did prefer it when Mark sang it on tour, it feels like a Mark song to me!

Don't get me started on Blobby, I still have a deep hatred for that creature stemming back from my 11 year old self being so mad that he stopped TT from getting Christmas No.1

I didn’t know we had a TT thread. Just so you know, I’ll be marrying Gary in my next life.
