Same here. I knew Rose because I watched Eastenders sporadically. But none of the others you mentioned.
I don't care who I know, I just want to see how they get on, who they are paired with and sometimes someone you 'knew' and thought you would like or dislike can be the opposite to what you thought beforehand.
That was me with Kym Marsh last year. I thought I would dislike her from start to finish, mostly because of the character she played in Corrie
. And then I was delighted to see her getting as far as she did through sheer hard work, and she and Graz were so perfectly matched. I enjoyed Jamie Laing too!

No to Katya & Les. Unfair on her but also viewers who would be subjected to the same old pairing trope again for the 4th/5th time.
I’m fine with it being Jowita since she won last year but I’d hope she’d get someone reasonable next year and wouldn’t turn into the new Katya now she’s won.

I think the only 3 pairings I actively want are Layton with Kai, Nadiya with Bobby and Jody with Jowita.

The endless requests for lists - sorry, I mean predictions - are so boring on DS. Does anyone else actually read who Joe Bloggs thinks will dance first or what dance they will be doing? I know I can ignore them (and I do) but I wonder if anyone else is interested? I actually prefer a poll to pointless and dull predictions.
