I have a real issue with parents who just relax and look at their phones while their kids run wild so I get that one. Get out there and play with them! My daughter knows I’d be seriously annoyed if she was disturbing other passengers by screaming etc. Screaming isn’t playing. He was generally very moany though. The ship breaking down wasn’t something predictable and it did seem disorganised but also, your job is chilling on a boat today so just get on with it! I couldn’t believe the person they gave his room removed his stuff, gave it to reception and moved in - wouldn’t any normal person go back to reception and say hi there’s clearly someone in this room you’ve assigned me can I have a new one.

I haven't watched any of his recent vlogs but BIB makes me want to go and watch this one - I can't believe someone would do that! What a cheek, I'd be raging!

I don't know if it's a good idea showing the River swimming segment because there's been so many drownings recently.. like every year I suppose,
but I hope him showing this place doesn't encourage people to go there and try it and get into difficulty. Steve did say it's exhausting with the current so probably not the best idea to share it on YT.

His cars like a boy racers is he trying to act younger for A. Why doesn't he put the begging bowl out for a campervan it would be better than sleeping in that pop up child's tent.

Yeah he tries to act and look younger for gold digger, plus have you noticed she will say something (that i often can't make out) and then she'll laugh and then he laughs when he probably hasn't a friggin clue what she said same as me, he's fake with her.

I watched his pal Scott Mansons vlog today and omg he had his son in the video, the son was on his mobile phone in the vlog and giving his dad one word answers and people were saying saying sarcy things in the comments about the son. I get the impression that Scott feels a bit lonely vlogging on his own but he'd be better doing the vlogs alone cos that son of his, trying to get him to talk is like trying to draw blood from a stone. You could tell the boy doesn't want to be in Scott's videos and people can see it right away.

A Swifty hahahhhaaa hah wow I can believe that I didn't realise Alicja had just turned 30. The thing i wonder is that's a pretty big age gap so what do they have in common apart from travelling together, I wonder if she just likes the things that he likes just to please him. Have you any idea how they met? I can see Alicja keeping him sweet as the years go on, also the fact he has a car is an attraction for her plus maybe Steve has his own house so she doesn't have to pay rent. Normally girls of Alicjas age have friends their own age but she chooses a 50+ year old guy? Steve is defo piling on the pounds, maybe he's comfort eating.

He had a flat in Edinburgh then sold it and they moved to Montrose. Alicja lives with him in the Montrose flat. She's probably not on the mortgage though?. I don't know how they met?. Maybe A was just wanting a British passport? and Steve wanted someone nearly half his age. He isn't very affectionate. He patted her on the back once when she cuddled him lol. His sex drive won't be as high as hers.

That is so weird! From stuff he's mentioned before she lived overseas before she met him (I'm sure she lived in Iceland and Canada) and then obv she lived in Scotland when she met him (I assume) so it's not like she's lived some sheltered life and she's not used to travelling/being overseas and needing it for comfort. Even if she did I'm not sure why you'd take a teddy on a flipping boat in the Med!

Only just realised this guy has a thread. Dipped on and out of a couple of his videos before but despite being a fellow Scot he bores me so I never hang around on his videos for long. Thanks to this thread I learned the girl is his partner and not his daughter, shows how much I’ve paid attention to his videos

That was the first time Steve has met Alicjas mum. Wonder if there has been a proposal?. Nah I think Steve is to stingy for marriage. He met his dad for like 10 seconds when the train he was travelling in stopped at the station to let people off/on. His dad was just waiting for the 10 second visit while sat in his mobility scooter. I thought that was odd. Why didn't he give his dad's a proper visit.

Has anyone else thought that this set of vlogs has been boring? So much they could have shown, instead we saw them wondering about aimlessly.

There were day trips they could have taken. They pointed it out a few times. They could have done at least a few.

Steve says 'There's nothing better than a Polish donut' and I have to agree, there's a Polish bakery up my way and the cakes are delicious, Greggs can keep their donuts hah, I think it's because in the Polish bakeries they use pure ingredients and it's home baking and not mass produced, there's defo a huge difference in taste and quality

Haha yeah he's defo too stingy to get married, Steve is very set in his ways and even he's with Alicja I get the feeling he likes his own company a lot of the time and probably doesn't want trapped. Woww you're kidding so her poor dad goes to the station on his scooter only for Steve not to get off the train for 2 seconds to at least greet him and shake his hand, wow that is odd, Steve's weird like that, he calls them socially awkward as a couple. I noticed in videos that Steve definitely is socially awkward but I think Alicja seems more outgoing cos when they were on that Italian ferry she seemed to enjoy the atmosphere but he hated the Italian party goers.

No it was Steve's dad. I think Steve was jealous on that ferry because the party goers were Alicjas age and he was probably feeling awkward as if she should be with people her own age.

I’ve found most of this series to be boring and stopped watching part way through. I enjoyed the San Francisco one though as they actually done something other than walked about aimlessly

If Steve is making as much money as we think he is you would think he would offer to pay for Alicia to get her teeth sorted. Some braces, Invisalign and she would have beautiful teeth.

I quite liked last night’s video. It was classic Steve in a number of ways, a bit of moaning and everything going wrong but nothing too annoying. It did seem to be over very quickly, it was more ‘here’s a few bits from our holiday’ than a proper holiday review. The first thing I said to my partner was I wouldn’t sit there on the plane you’ll have bums in your face all flight and that did end up being the case. That’s what you get for cheaping out. The worst room in the hotel and the worst seats on the plane. You’d think he’d fork out the £11.50 per head to choose your seats instead of two aisle seats not even together. I wouldn’t have been happy with the hotel or Jet2 putting me in an unmade room with an active leak in the roof and then washing their hands of it. They customer service was shit.

Yes, the customer service of Jet2 wasn't great, but they did get their room sorted the next day once they had a chance to speak to the manager. They were the last people to check in at 11pm, so to be fair, I think the guy at reception did his best until it was sorted in the morning. As my husband pointed out, Jet2 are pretty much a glorified travel agency, and as Steve himself says later in the video, the hotel they stayed as was more geared towards Tui customers (another travel agent; part of Thomson group).

Many moons ago, I went to Portinatx as a 6-year-old with my mum and dad. It is definitely the spot to go to get away from the rowdier side of the island in the south. I remember the bus forgot about us when we went on a tour and we had to walk all the way back to the hotel! It was also much colder than we were expecting in October.

Side note: is Alijcia (sorry if I've spelled her name incorrectly) studying on an online course for something? I feel like that's been mentioned a few times.

We went there about 30 years ago. It was a lovely resort. I'm happy to see it hasn't changed much and been ruined by greedy developers.

I’m pretty sure out of all the vlogs he does and she appears in a handfull she probably does actually work full time, you only have to go on social blade to see he’s not making mega money. So she’s hardly living the high life off Steve
