I love how he says he doesn’t vlog 24 hours a day so we don’t know everything because we don’t see everything, but nothing in their lives has changed for the last 7 years. We know exactly what they do because nothing else interesting happens. Is he saying that when they don’t vlog, they are doing all the home schooling and actually parenting? And when they go shopping, they are doing lessons in the shop when we all know Steve hates being in then? They really aren’t the brightest people.

They contradict themselves all the time.

Steve said that Lacey had not learnt anything in the last two years. If that is the case why did they not deal with this then? Why didn't they move schools? Why were they not doing additional work with her at home if she wasn't learning in the classroom? Why let her get two years behind!

I know that Chloe has some issues with her speech but even her teacher wanted to talk to Steve about her reading and give her some additional work. If Chloe is struggling with her reading why are they not helping her with that?

Steve and Rachel are both lazy and it's affecting their children. The children look so misreable and they all look unkept apart from Sophie.

Sophie is the only one that actually gets washed, dressed and ready for the day everyday!

Lacey is only washed, dressed and ready on a week day however she walks around in that filthy coat! If she is dressed on the weekend her hair is never done.

Liam is always in his dressing gown.

Poor Chloe is only ready on a school day. She is never dressed on the weekend and her hair is never done.

It sounds mean but the children look scruffy. Im not blaming them I am blaming their parents.
That filthy coat!!

I think he’s on the defence because he knows getting to the specialist school will affect their daily routine of dropping the children off and everything else they do. With anxiety routines can help as you know what you’re doing/no fear of the unexpected. This is why things have felt like they’ve been the same every day for the past 7 years. Steve’s anxiety is stopping him from making such a change to his life. There’s nothing wrong with that, if he genuinely cannot work then that’s his business, at least Rachel still goes out to work when they could easily both be at home as Chloe is quite young - it might be different where Steve lives but I know some families who choose to not to work as they get a certain amount of financial help in various forms if they have young children. And Rachel has recently increased her hours loads which realistically, if they wanted to do the bare minimum to get help/benefits she wouldn’t have done.

I feel that maybe Steve sees himself a lot in Lacey, with the anxiety and dislike of school (he mentioned this before) so wants her to have the minimum amount of work as possible, to keep her doing something. As someone else said, 2 years is a long time to let the school fail her.

I didn’t think I was been rude when I asked my question... he was very on the defense when he replied. We do see everything they do and all they do is nothing lol. Like another poster said... why go to the shops as often as them when they don’t even cook a decent bloody meal. Them kids eat sugary food and drink and processed crap. They have a slow cooker, can get lovely familt meals using them without a lot of effort.

There was a comment earlier that Steve and Rach are lazy. I disagree Rachel is up very early in the morning for work, does all the housework, does the shopping for her family and her inlaws while Steve waits in the car, cooks most of the dinners and then goes back to work. I have never seen Steve hang out washing, or use the slow cooker for meals it's all Rachel no wonder she falls asleep on sofa on the evening!

You weren't being rude at all just asked a good question, someone called Henry Andrews always sides with them and gets himself involved. Another thing that winds me up lol is Steve's mum smoking so much when Bill needs to have oxygen, she always has an ashtray next to her and the car ashtray is often full too

Yes I don’t think she should be smoking around bill or the kids. You would think she would sort Steve out but doesn’t appear too.

I stand by my comment.

I am not saying that Rachel is not hard working in regards to her actual job and the things she does around the house. I think everyone can see how hard she works in order to provide for her family.

However she is LAZY in regards to her children.

She like Steve puts going to the shop ahead of Lacey's education. Im pretty sure she made Lacey's timetable, it looks like her handwriting.
When Steve can't be bothered to cook, she doesn't step up and cook dinner.
She never gets Chloe dressed and does her hair unless it's a school day.
She doesn't step up and tell Steve to stop recording Sophie!
She makes nasty remarks about Liams weight.

You can't just blame Steve for all of this, she is the mother. Just because we don't see her, it doesn't mean she isn't there.

In Steve’s defence, everyone has different parenting skills. This is a text in his own words, and even though this was a few years ago, it is still right to this day (in my opinion). He is saying he isn’t perfect, but who is?
Im not sticking up for him after how rude he was when someone asked him a genuine question today.

He and his viewers attacked her just because she happened to ask a question, then he liked everyones comments who were being rude to her as well.

I saw a different side of him today and he isn't going to get any pity from me!

The latest video?

I think it’s very telling that the comment asking a perfectly reasonable question about homeschooling got more thumbs up than Steve’s arsey reply! Same for the comment about why she’s doing nothing on Wednesday.

I agree about Rache, theres no denying she works hard in and out of the home. However they’re both lazy when it comes to parenting. She also sulked off to bed early one night because of Sophie’s attitude rather than deal with it! Completely agree she’s just as responsible for getting Chloe dressed on the weekends and getting her hair brushed. even if they’re not bothered about her being in pyjamas all day, they should still get her hair brushed.

You said she was lazy you never pointed out if it was got to do with the children you just said lazy. I just pointed out that she wasn't she does almost everything in that house and outside the house compared to Steve, who is there all day. She shouldn't have to step up and do the dinner when that should be Steve's job while she is at work, especially as alot of the time she prepares dinners before going back to work. I do agree that she should call him out on alot of things. But maybe that's not in her nature she seems very timid.
I agree Lacey should be doing alot more and watching how much school work she is doing has definitely made me see them in a different light. My son is austic and some what on the same level as Lacey so I know she is able for so much more. My son is seven and he is doing almost the same level as her!

Rachel does definitely do more than Steve and that just highlights even more how little he does. Parenting wise, they are both as bad as each other. They’ve let the kids get into bad habits because of lazy parenting and won’t ever get out of them because of that foo. Like someone said, Chloe doesn’t even get her hair brushed some days. We all have the pj lazy days but I can’t imagine not brushing my children’s hair. Its a simple basic thing.
