I feel like Steph as a person, but I’m not sure I’m a fan of her content anymore. I do still watch some of her videos, but for example, why is she doing a Doll Beauty testing video. With products that have been out ages? Unless I’m missing something cos I haven’t actually watched it yet.

I think she accidentally confirmed they broke up as she said in one of her latest videos that she’ll edit in something into the video. Didn’t Ollie used to do all her editing?

I agree, did used to like her but then it just got boring. I remember ages ago she said her boyfriend was quitting his job so he could work for her and they would be able to upload videos everyday? Might have made it up but I’m sure that’s what she said, well that never happened. Obviously realised she barely has enough content for once a week lol

No, no normal job and i think her bf has given up his boring job to be a full time instagram and you tube boyfriend.

Seems like quite a lot of them go down this route. None of these kind of people seem to have a partner with a 'normal' job they all seem to do Instagram too or they enlist them as their video editor or photographer. What do they all expect to do when the influencer life dries up?!

I think its the idea that they have that YouTube is a job. But suppose that's just me being old fashioned in that recording yourself doing make up and stuff isn't a real job. Just grumpy and stressed with my own job involving work and hard things and studying and children and finances and trying to be a strong independent career woman and role model and cook and cleaner and tattle reader. It's all relative isn't it as I'm sure people dying in India wonder what I have to be stressed about.

I can completely understand where you're coming from as when I compare my life to these influencers (hence why I said I'm not a fan of them) I get really frustrated because I would love to film myself doing make up for a few hours and get ££££s for it and call that my job, plus get free gifts/trips and all of the other perks!
But I think no matter how fantastic or easy someone's life might seem, still shouldn't assume that they should be happy and that they have nothing to stress about. Lives are rarely as perfect as they appear on the surface

Steph talking about getting botox in her jaw as she clenches her jaw due to stress (same but I use a teeth guard thing and mindfulness as cringe as that sounds). So of course that was me TRIGGERED. WHAT IS SHE STRESSED ABOUT? She records herself getting her nails done, takes photos while she plays video games winking with her tongue out to the side and doing a v sign like my 6 year old. And she sleeps during the day and watches netfkix half the night and So mUCH streSS. Arghhh are you kidding me/us????!! It was sad about her mum but what has she got to be stressed about? Anxiety i get, it doesn't need a trigger but stress? So triggered.

Grief can be a trigger of stress. There's no knowing how emotions might effect us. Idleness can also create stress/anxiety. So maybe she's anxious and it's led to stress because like you said, she has a dormant lifestyle.

Me too! She is one of the most talented people on youtube.
You should check out Angela Bright as well, she also focuses on eyes and makes it easy to follow

Yea it's a crap situation for her I mean she could of done the mur thing so many others did but waited for Ofra took ages for her to get her own code and collab and now this. I do think she has handled it all very well

Finally unsubscribed. She's gotten so childish - just was watching the lush make up video but switched it off and unsubscribed.
I feel like one penis joke is a bit tongue in cheek but saying penis every other sentence and making everything into a sexual innuendo has gotten so boring.
Also, they literally didn't look like any penis I've ever seen...
Her testing videos used to be good but she literally just puts it on.
No close ups anymore, no wear tests, no information about the actual product.

Highlighter already been restocked less than 2 days after it went "out of stock" definitely driving up false demand, not that I understand the demand at all its so boring and the same as a makeup revolution highlighter

A girl I work with was one of her winners for a give away, she said she doesn't check her notifications on YouTube and seen steph had messaged her saying she won and to email which ever address it was to claim. She messaged steph on YouTube and the email and had nothing back. I did tell her she probably won't receive anything. She actually loved stephs videos too and said working for the NHS it was a nice treat after all that's gone on this year/last. She had to settle for a weak cup of tea from me instead

That's a shame. It always bothers me when they do giveaways and say you have to go on Instagram for it. I don't use Instagram so can never take part.

Anyway, watching this vlog, and just her tutorials in general, to me she hasnt really got any makeup skills. This is probably an unfair comparison, but i love watching Angela Bright and An Knook, and compared to them she is like a toddler that has just got hold of mums makeup bag.
