I know the American healthcare system is different, but I don’t understand why Shane doesn’t have a care package that includes a PA/a team of PAs to help with his care needs and not leave him totally reliant on his girlfriend and future MIL. lol their latest video is them "debunking" all of the ways people say that Hannah is giving up her life to give with him. Because, you know, Hannah graduated from college so she didn't give up anything obviously.

To prove that they each make compromises in the relationship Shane actually has to audacity to say "well I love breweries and Hannah doesn't like beer so we don't get to go to them as much as I'd like."

Hannah NEVER gets to wake up the time she wants (it's always a compromise, even on the weekends apparently); she probably has to turn him at night; she has to wipe the butt of her fiance every day; she can't be held or cuddled; she has to dress him and bathe him and brush his teeth; she has to do all the cooking and cleaning; she has to do all the yardwork; she has to do all the driving and probably sacrifice her back in the longrun and this a-hole literally says he gave up something as ~important~ as a brewery hobby to be with her and omg things are so equal.

Delusional. I actually feel bad for Hannah because she is so so oblivious to her own needs and the kind of men that are way funnier than Shane, smarter and active that would be happy to date her.

Do you think Hannah understands that Shane would never be with her if the roles were reversed and she were the one with SMA? She is so self-righteous yet apparently is so blind that she can't see that Shane's character doesn't live up to her strict values.

Like others, I get kind of a creepy vibe from the way she looks at Shane and laughs hysterically at every stupid thing he says. I don't think it's right to expect her mother to accompany them everywhere to "help with Shane." She was talking about how it would be difficult to go on a honeymoon where they have to fly somewhere, so her parents are going to go with them but stay at a different location. If Hannah can't handle flying with Shane without having to enlist help from her mom, she's in for a long, hard life because her mother is not going to be around forever. There are plenty of places they could go for a nice honeymoon in the U.S. They don't HAVE to go to some exotic destination. I still don't get where all the money is coming from, but they don't seem to have a shortage when it comes to taking overseas trips and dining at expensive restaurants. As for their sex life, as I said before, I don't care and don't really see why anyone else does. I do get tired of Shane always referring to being "well-endowed," like he's a 13-year-old boy in the midst of puberty, so in a way I guess he asks for all the speculation, but seriously, nobody cares, Shane! Grow up and shut up!

You're right. She is in for a long hard road. They are running her mom into the ground. It's cute now because Hannah is young and cute, the mom has her health and strength, and the YouTube money is good. But what happens when Hannah is 40 and has been lifting Shane for 16 years? By the her mom will be 70ish and not fit to be wiping the son-in-law butt. And by then they intend to have children running (or wheeling around). No of it makes any sense.

I've seen so many comments from women talking about how "lucky" Hannah is to be marrying Shane. As a woman myself I wonder are other women so desperate to "have a man" that taking care of a manboy seems like a good bargain? Good find with the TikTok thing. They posted a video today of Hannah taking Shane to her parents' house (they left) to give him a shower. Back home Shane is positioned just right so the viewers can see their bathroom door from the living room, a camera angle I've never seen them use before. After some discussion about how he smells better after a shower, Shane looks off into the distance and as if he's daydreaming, says...

He is severely disabled but has a good personality (a bit Dad humour for my liking though ). He is an author too.
She is quite attractive and comes across as intelligent. Thinks before she speaks.
There are a lot of accusations that she is only with him for his money. She rubbished this and says society is warped for thinking that she couldn't possibly love him just because he looks different and is disabled.
My opinion: I haven't warmed to her at all. She seems a bit cold and calculating and there is a good chance that she is with him for his money/house.

I'm definitely starting to think Hannah is a devotee. Which ruins their credibility because the whole point of the channel is to show a normal girl who loves a man who just happens to be disabled. If they met and got to know each other at school, work, a party, through friends, etc, then it would be normal to see how they could fall in love naturally. But for her to see a documentary on him and decide that based on a 2 hour show she wanted to get to know him and wipe his ass STRONGLY suggests devotee.

Shane is not a nice person. He would never date a girl in a wheelchair in his condition and I have my doubts of whether he would date a less attractive girl or even a girl outside his race. His standard seems to be model and blonde. His shallowness makes it easy to see why he would be verbally abusive to Hannah. My only question is why she tolerates it.
