No that doesn't make someone a racist.so you are a racist if you speak out about people coming here for benefits regardless of their skin![]()
But your language and tone throughout this thread makes you one.

Absolute ridiculousNo that doesn't make someone a racist.

It’s a myth that immigrants get any benefits. If you believe that they do you really need to go and read a book or something.so you are a racist if you speak out about people coming here for benefits regardless of their skin![]()
I’d love to know how you know they have council accommodation and benefits. Or how they get more benefits than the average Brit who also struggles to survive on benefits alone. Though I reckon this is a lost cause of a conversationRomanians are white and loads beg on the street where I live (even though they have council accomodation and benefits) they are a drain.
It's nothing to do with skin colour.
I am saying a lot of people who are currently rioting are racists, yes, but I also said that I just don’t understand why this has anything to do with the three children and their families.so you are a racist if you speak out about people coming here for benefits regardless of their skin![]()
There’s certain vetting procedures that have to be followed when working with vulnerable people ,employing illegal immigrants isn’t going to improve the wages of British workers that don’t have their food and board covered , nor is it helping those that pay for very expensive visas and accommodation to work here. You’re ignoring that the work they can do is very very limited
Working in the black market? Where do they source accommodation if they’re still in the asylum system I’m assuming they’re still reliant on Serco? So essentially working whilst the tax payer covers their food, heating and accommodation.i would say that 12 months is quite a long time, and after that time a number of them will be working.
My point was more that an asylum seeker with permission to work isn’t going to be able to get a “normal” everyday job. The jobs on that list are mostly specialised jobs that your average Brit couldn’t do eitherThere’s certain vetting procedures that have to be followed when working with vulnerable people ,employing illegal immigrants isn’t going to improve the wages of British workers that don’t have their food and board covered , nor is it helping those that pay for very expensive visas and accommodation to work here.
Because they walk into council flats and live there lol loads of them. And I presume they are on benefits as they have no job and walk around with begging bags in shopping trolleys. Come to Glasgow and see.I’d love to know how you know they have council accommodation and benefits. Or how they get more benefits than the average Brit who also struggles to survive on benefits alone. Though I reckon this is a lost cause of a conversation
I’m only replying because I know from my own experience that everyone is xenophobic towards Romanians, Eastern European immigrants included. Bulgarians are also a popular group to dislike
Hardly see the far right groups getting worked up about the white immigrants these days though, do you? Used to be more common before Brexit from what I remember
There’s lots of care, agriculture and building work?? What profession are you talking about? My point was more that an asylum seeker with permission to work isn’t going to be able to get a “normal” everyday job. Granted, we’ve had multiple conversations about this previously and it’s never made a difference to your generally uninformed opinions or your love for misunderstanding points on purpose
You could make the same point about being supported by the tax payer about the 38% of people in this country who work but still claim universal credit, but at the risk of becoming a broken record, what has this to do with the three murder children and their grieving families?Working in the black market? well they had the right to remain in France, a safe country. We have absolutely no idea who these people are! I can’t rock up on a beach in Spain and expect to be put up and paid for and expect to stay there…. I can’t understand why people can’t see this and how dangerous it is. They are NOT fleeing war torn countries, if they were, have they just run off and left all the women and children ffs!!. 75% are Albanian men and I’m not aware that they are at war with anyone. The issue is that they all want to come to good old free Blighty, and they’ll never integrate, hate our way of life and don’t respect women. People have just had enough. I don’t have anything against anyone wanting to try and make a new life but we as a country are ridiculous in giving them what we do and we have to know their background.Well they can’t can they? As they are illegal immigrants and awaiting a decision about whether they have a right to remain. They can’t work during this time as the rules forbid them to. Well, legally anyway. Only legal immigrants are able to work. Care homes and NHS etc will have to follow legal employment channels.
They’re legal citizens of the country why shouldn’t they be supported? So by your standards anyone can come here and get full board and workYou could make the same point about being supported by the tax payer the 38% of people in this country who work but still claim universal credit, but at the risk of becoming a broken record, what has this to do with the three murder children and their grieving families.
(no disrespect to anyone working who claims UC. I understand that people need that support, I was just trying to make a point. Anyone who does honest work has my respect)

Would have been nice if the Iman had offered condolences to the families but nothing….I have no words. What on earth has our country become. violent thugs targeting a mosque full of people, many of whom went to pray after being at the vigil, distraught at what has happened. I am so ashamed of what society has become. What a stain on those poor girls and their families. Heartbreaking
Anyone who is granted asylum status should be supported, yes. It’s not their fault that the process is taking so long. They’re legal citizens of the country why shouldn’t they be supported? So by your standards anyone can come here and get full board and work

Actually, they aren’t Albanians any more, they were but since Brexit, this has fallen. I’m not here to convince you or anyone else, it is clear that we all have differing opinions on this matter and that’s ok.well they had the right to remain in France, a safe country.
