Just because libraries aren't of any disruption to some people, it doesn't mean they aren't important and beloved buildings to many others.

And they shouldn’t have to have a temporary library??? It’s absolutely bleeping ridiculous to defend the burning down of a community space just because they can set up a temporary one. That temporary one won’t bring back the fact that rioting bleeps have burnt down an important part of a community
It really is, I know maybe if you don't use libraries their importance may not seem that obvious but they are definitely one of the backbones to a functioning community. Our local libraries (I'm nestled between two) run great child groups and elderly groups and reading clubs etc. It's more than just free access to books, which imo is nothing to be sneered at. Knowledge is power!
Sorry just coming back to this - the man’s an idiot, but he regularly goes out to Africa to “help the slums” unsure what he’s actually doing, but back in May maybe he was robbed in Sierra Leone and then went on Instagram live and said he had killed someone. He was arrested by military police but then was let go.I am going to nosey on this thread but what do you mean "out in Africa murdering people"

It’s a public amenity, anyone that attacks businesses, loots etc is rum and doesn’t speak for genuine protesters, these type of actions are usually orchestrated in advance you get more publicity that way.

Destroying local communities isn’t going to do jack tit. Protesting outside council buildings, or near parliament, where you actually inconvenience politicians, would be time better spent.

I've just sat and watched some of the footage from on County Road tonight and I actually can't help but cry, there's actual children there smashing up and looting shops, throwing fireworks at the police, screaming and causing chaos. How does this have anything to do with those poor murdered little girls anymore
