A library is hardly a disruption..

It's not a hospital, clinic, or a place of that much importance
It’s a place where students go to do work, it’s a place where people can gain access to computers or internet when they don’t have it at home, it’s a community space where events are held. Libraries are important parts of our society, they provide people with many different ways of enrichment. They’re also archives filled with important documents and resources from history. I am devastated by the loss of this library actually because I am a student, libraries are a vital part of my studies and that negatively affects a whole community now

People are rioting because they’re fed up. Yes there’s better ways of doing things but people are fucking angry! And they seem to be getting demonised more than a child knifing, murdering, sick fucking monster who went in court and SMILED!!!
No one rioted about Lucy Letby The riots are not actually about the girls, it's been hijacked for a kicking off point.

Can’t believe what I’ve just read on here. Anyone with a brain should be concerned about the uncivilised immigrants that are entering the country everyday. If you don’t, and you have young children, then I’d be seriously concerned you can’t safeguard them if you can’t even recognise real threats.

I am so glad that these people are safeguarding my kids by, checks notes, making town centres unsafe for them to go in due to violence and burning down libraries. Great work chaps

I would suspect this is a first episode of psychosis. No one sane does something like this, as someone said before.

If I’m really being honest, I’m getting increasingly annoyed of people being labelled far right. They are just fed up of not being listened to and ignored and two tier policing doesn’t help either. Protesting doesn’t solve anything writing to your local mp is a waste of time so rioting is there last resort I am not condoning it but
But this is what happens when central government are aposed to doing anything about the situation in the country people are fed up of one rule one and another rule for other people they are also fed up of the two tier policing and the illegal migration with no documentation and people from other countries coming over to Britain abusing the system and rapeing and killing British citizens
Also the lack intergrating is a problem
How has this got anything to do with the southport murders? He wasn't an immigrant or an illegal migrant. This literally has nothing to do with this situation. Rioting wasn't some kind of political last resort, it was thugs using this situation for their own agenda to instigate violence. They're scum.

The one common denominator is MEN. It has nothing to do with race.

A lot of people on this thread are just very unpleasant people and it's upsetting to see that next to what's going on in these riots.

Yeah, there's just been a guy talking about it on the news. They're organising through social media and Telegram apparently, planned actions in various different cities.
Some planned in our city tomorrow with protests from Muslim groups also in place to protest the riots. I work with young men as a sports coach, majority Black or ethnic minority, and it actually scares me the world they're growing up in. We've had to say to them it's their choice if they want to go but they may hear some horrific things and they need to make sure they're representing themselves well.

It makes me so angry that these EDL morons riot over this yet when Wayne Couzens attacked and killed Sarah Everard and women wanted to protest, we were told "it's not all men"
Why isn't the same logic applied here?
I just can't with humans sometimes, I really can't.

I probably didn’t word it very well but the point I was trying to get across was that it is easy for us to talk about what is happening but they are just being dismissed as far right when they could just be hard working people who are upset.
im hard working and upset but my solution wasn’t to go attacking mosques and immigrants. My parents are both children of immigrants so the fact that the upset is around immigrants repulses me. Evil comes in all shades so please explain what these hard working people are protesting? Too many immigrants? The same ones who prop up our under funded NHS and probably care for your grandparents in care homes.

Young boys in this country are being led down a dangerous ideology about women and girls. Tate etc have a lot to answer for. I work with young people and the amount of times boys refuse to deal with female staff, don’t make eye contact with female staff, refuse to work with girls on projects, kick off massively until a male member of staff gets involved etc has risen massively since lockdown. They do this weird hand signal thing when female teachers are talking to show they don’t think they have to listen to you, they talk over girls and women consistently, incidents of sexism and sexual harassment in schools are at an all time high. I don’t think we should make this a race issue, more an issue with boys and their perception of women and girls.
I used for work for the DWP over the phones and the amount of disgusting comments I got from men was unbelievable. I was a ‘dirty scouse slag’ ‘I’d love to beat you to death’ ‘put me on to a man because women don’t know what they’re doing’ ‘you deserve to be raped’. Men degrade us constantly and see themselves as a higher category and that’s why so many women and young girls aren’t safe. It’s definitely not a race issue and shouldn’t be, white men (and women I’m not saying they do no wrong) go out and cause deadly crimes daily. The colour of someone’s skin should not make them more of a threat

Like I keep saying, it's not just the "far right" that is being manipulative in this. I wish people would wake up to it. I have been told to go kill myself by lefties more than I ever have by any right winger. I also have experienced more damaging misogyny online too from them. Right wingers just tell you to go back to the kitchen, I can handle that and laugh it off, those on the "left" tend to be a lot more demoralising and dehumanising. Just look at the comments on this very thread, one especially using the threat of male violence to get a person they didn't agree with to shut up.

It also didn't escape my notice that I was the only person to call it out.

The "far left" is every bit as abusive as the "far right" and every bit as capable of drumming up hate and violence.
The left have never thrown bricks through my window, torn off my cousins hijab and sexually assaulted her, called me P*ki, attacked me, spat at me, threatened to rape my female relatives or thrown liquid at my cousin and pretended it was acid.

You can’t riot to stop people hurting others when you’re doing the same 🤣 22 police officers AND dogs out of work plus the many innocent bystanders getting attacked to stop other people attacking and killing people? It makes 0 sense and it’s people with 0 brain cells joining in

I heard someone say on a TikTok live last night, and I quote, "I know someone who is getting £100k a week from the government to house migrants". People actually believe this stuff. They actually believe it.
I know they won’t be getting that much per week but locally to me I know of one hotel where multiple people had their weddings cancelled on them because the hotel decided that it would be more lucrative and also a really nice boutique place which also suddenly wasn’t taking bookings when I phoned them months ago to try to book and I couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t have bookings but they said they had a “group booking”. Regardless of what your views are on immigrants there are hotel owners making a fucking fortune out of it.

Out of interest what did you make of the Olivia Pratt Korbel murder in your city, or Rhys Jones? Did those two child victims not qualify for rioting?
Rhys Jones got killed around the corner from where I lived up until this year, I was only 9 and I remember it vividly. The scumbags who were involved with killing him walked the streets for weeks after it, everyone knew who done it but nothing was done about it and half of them still to this day walk the same streets. Everyone knew Thomas Cashman killed Olivia that was also knowledge in Liverpool from day one, again walked the streets like nothing had happened. White murdering men, no riots no grassing no nothing. If people don’t see that this is all down to race they must have eyesight like Stevie Wonder

People literally can’t fathom the idea of people of different race and religion being heartbroken by the tragedy that has happened. To be anything other than white British now must be terrifying 💔

I really dont get why people are protesting? Yes what he did was wrong but targeting a group of INNOCENT people for one person's wrong doing isn't how we should go about it. This isn't what them families would want thats lost there beautiful daughter. They would want peace and time to mourn the loss of there child.

I don’t give a damn that apparently this man has autism and was a quiet choir boy. I have no fucks to give. I’m also an introverted, autistic former choir singer but at 17 he is not a child. He can work, he can have sex, he can get married (in some parts of the U.K.) and he can join the army.

All I care about is that he murdered three innocent little girls and injured many, many more. This wasn’t an accident. This appears to be a planned attack. He can rot in hell. The media disgust me trying to paint him as as a sweet little boy. He is not. He’s old enough to understand what he did. The reality is if a white man killed three black children there would be riots. It would also immediately be called an act of racism.
I do not agree with the violent protests that have happened since. I think that is vile. However it is very clear to me that there is two tier policing going on and that isn’t fair either nor will it do much to quench simmering tensions.

The people on the streets looting shops, beating up any person of colour they come across, shouting racial slurs etc. have one thing in common - They are white men, drunk who think their problems lie with minorities in this country. Those aren't migrants on the streets being violent and rioting, the ones who are grew up in this country on the very streets they're now destroying. The boy who killed the 3 little girls was a second generation immigrant who had been born in this country, he did not arrive on a small boat. Some of you are very unpleasant with how you think that your problems lie with migrants. Yes, it is an issue but unfortunately the previous government made it this way so they'd have an excuse to create problems like this.
