How behind? The past year has all been about the soft, dewy look, see the rise of the Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter type products that every brand has been putting out. Cream products have also been trending in all categories of cheek products. In general eyeshadow has been falling out of trend in favor of base products with the focus on said soft look. (Well that has been my impression of things. )
yeah highlighter never went out, except for the metallic, blinding approach to it. it’s become a lot more subtle and focused on looking like you are glowing from within - more natural looking, but still there, hence the rise of cream products as they achieve this look. you’re right that big, bold eye looks are out right now, in favour of the more natural, skin focused, clean aesthetic

Oh my god the pregnancy vlog is like one big moan but I was curious! She’s so dramatic it’s unreal…

This vlog just shows how insufferable she’ll be when she actually has a kid and realizes what kind of a change it is..she’s so not ready for it.

Also one thing I didn’t get from the vlog is that she seems to be sick for like a week/two and trying to get a GP appointment but kept missing it and then she went privately. Why didn’t James try and get her an app if she kept sleeping through it (she says it has to be at 7AM)? Why not go private immediately if she was so ill? Is she really that cheap?

....if she thinks vomiting is bad.....wait until she experiences labour.....
ngl I hate this attitude. She’s experiencing pregnancy for the first time, and being sick IS awful. When I was pregnant, I was so sick of other women telling me “just wait, it gets worse” 🙄

Two HG pregnancies down and I personally found the neverending sickness infinitely worse than any part of labour. I’ve said it before on this thread, but it isn’t a competition. I get that Soph likes to complain, but pregnancy IS tough, it’s made tougher by the ‘just you wait’ attitude from others who are feeling bitter!

I'm not feeling bitter.......I had severe sickness but, had no other option to work as a nursing sister up to 39 weeks. I had five days in hospital with my first as I started haemorrhaging at 29 weeks....I was pumped full of steroids in case I went into labour early but, the bleeding stopped and my scan was fine. After a 27 hour labour, the midwives realised my daughter was coming out face up and was stuck. Forty minutes of the midwife and on call ob/gynae registrar pulling and tugging.....and 33 stitches later , my daughter was born.......who was then diagnosed with learning difficulties.....the sickness has long been forgotten but, the day I gave birth hasn't!

My dog ate a McDonald’s napkin earlier this evening. I feel this is also relevant to Soph’s thread because like you have a baby and she will have a baby.. I have a dog and she has a dog and some dogs eat napkins and some don’t but I’ll put together a big story about my dog for the thread when I have a moment

at the end of the day some people do have fuss free straightforward births. her pregnancy may well outdo her birth experience in terms of difficulty if the birth goes smoothly

Wait... She kept sleeping through her appointment times and missed them??? Or was too lazy to wake up at the right time to call for an appointment? I haven't watched yet and honestly don't think I can take an hour of her moaning.

Yes, she really is that cheap. She tries not to pay for anything.

If I understood correctly she kept sleeping through the time to book an appointment bc she was tired and couldn’t sleep cause of the nausea or something like that.

Not to derail and said with love, but if you’re still this affected by the birth of your children several decades later, you might benefit from some support for it. Birth trauma is absolutely valid and lots of women experience it.

i’m really sorry you had a traumatic labour. mine was traumatic too, so i get it. but i think other posters are trying to say that you’re implying sophie won’t cope with labour if she’s having trouble with pregnancy, and that’s not necessarily true. it came across like you’re reflecting your own experience as a blanket “this will happen”. probably not intended that way, but it’s how it reads. i hope after such a long time you’re at peace with how your birth experience went and you got lots of support

Ah I see. Yeah, James could have done it? Or she could have made an effort to phone at the time she needs? I'm disabled/chronically ill and am often fatigued but if I need to make an appointment at a certain time then either my husband does it or of he can't I make sure I'm phoning when I need to. Seems like she just wanted it as a way to justify going private (still haven't watched so I may be wrong but going off how she is usually, it wouldn't surprise me).

At least it wasn't an obnoxious big party or anything like that! It was cute but her makeup was, as usual, tit 😂.

I don't see Soph coping with a baby but for some reason I see her going even less with a boy if you get what I mean? 😅( I don't mean, disappointment or anything like that!).

Would find it hilarious if she went hard on all the "boy themed" things and then it came out as a girl 😂.

Pregnancy is hugely varied so I think it’s unfair to judge Sophie on that (I know this is a gossip forum but just feel that’s a bit unfair). My mum always used to tell me she loved being pregnant, but I hated it. The nausea early on was horrendous for me so I do sympathise with her on that.

I also agree. Think people are being a bit harsh on her. Sounds like she's had a really tough time, and it's probably good for other women going through it, to hear that there's others going through the same thing. Yeah it's a moany vlog, but why wouldn't it be with how she's been feeling 🤷🏻‍♀️

seriously, if i vlogged my first trimester it’d have just been me with my head in a toilet saying “i hate this, i feel horrible, i’m never doing this again” 😂 mine got infinitely better though from my second trimester onwards and i adored pregnancy in the end

Hard to have such sympathy for someone that moans about everything and anything. The woman thought she was dying* from a dent in her head fgs (*did not think she was drying but made a massive song and dance about it and loads of other tiny little things. She always has to have the worst of something, there always has to be something wrong with her).
