'Time after time', but not the original - Eva Cassidy's version. This makes me happy, but also very emotional.. i haven't been able to listen to it for 3 years. It's the song I chose to dance with my dad to on my wedding day. He was dying with terminal cancer. We had our dance and 4 months later we lost him. On his deathbed when he was comatose I played this song to him.

I also like anything from Birdy, but especially Light Me Up.
Paul Weller's You Do Something To Me - our first dance at our wedding!
Dream Catch Me by Newton Faulkner
No Freedom by Dido
Sweet disposition by The Temper Trap
Louder by Neon Jungle
Beautiful World by Coldplay

Ah where to start...

George Michael ~ Praying for time (my funeral song)
Dolly Parton ~ I will always love you (I love both versions, but Dolly’s is just so sincere and full of heartbreak)
Oasis ~ Half the world away (another funeral song)
George Michael ~ This is how (We want you to get high)
Jake Bugg ~ Two Fingers
Robbie Williams ~ No Regrets
Katy Perry ~ Never Really Over (sums up perfectly my relationship with a ‘friend’, from start to finish. A really brilliant, happy song, about a really shit situation 🤣)

Teen of the 90’s here and so Many songs and so many genres of music. Songs evoke memories and can make me happy and nostalgic.
All time favourite though is under the bridge by the red hot chilli peppers. Remember thinking me and my friends were so cool singing it on a boat trip on the Seine on a school holiday not really knowing what it’s about.
Was always more of a Blur fan but boyfriend, now husband was a huge oasis fan and our wedding song is wonderwall.
I like happy music. Had my teens listening to nirvana and the cranberries etc and still like the music but if I choose to put music in it’s usually cheesy pop that’s happy.

Oh and I hate Coldplay!

Well done you x different meanings for us all ...Fortnite is the devil I'm out a fortune on V Bucks x
Thankyou and these songs always make me cry in a happy way mind, my kids have bled me dry for v bucks. I dont see the point! I still manage plenty of kills with the default skin and found guns. 🤣 I like feeling old and telling them I came from an era that didn't require bought costumes to make us play any better! 👌
