Hoping to go to Butlins in August with the sister in law. Small things but something different to do

It's my sons first birthday at the end of the month 😊 he's a leap day baby so can't decide whether to do the 28th Feb or the 1st.. I'm leaning more towards the 1st

I'd probably choose the first as it is usually the day after the 28th , although the 28th is a Sunday this year, sometimes it's better to do birthday things on a weekend ( probably doesn't apply so much this year) .

i also wanted to say the 1st because it's the day after, however maybe i'd say he 28th to keep it in the same month!

Ordered a carvery from the local pub, to be delivered to my home for around 1pm.

I usually have a carvery when I visited that pub before the latest lockdown, and it's always yummy. But this will be my first takeaway, so I hope it will be just as hot and fresh.

Each meal is about £14.99, but includes all the gubbins (although no dessert or starter). It's quite expensive, but it does mean I don't have to faff about getting a million pots and pans out, along with scraping spuds and carrots etc..... and the real big win is no major washing up afterwards!

Finally graduating from this thing I've been doing for the past couple of years in approximately 6 days and 23 hours' time - woohoo!

It'll be nice just being able to focus on real life and work stuff rather than trying to cram study, exams and assignments in wherever I can.

I'm quite strict with lockdown rules but I relented and let my middle daughter go to newsagents to get a magazine that she wanted. They didn't have the magazine so instead she bought two bunches of daffs and a box of mint matchmakers for me 😥💕

Not looking forward to as such I know. Probably wrong thread for that

I can't wait to be able to take my children on a little holiday and see them have some fun after being cooped up at home for so long ❤

Looking forward to the sun setting later so I can go for walks and runs after work. To charity shops opening again so I can go at the weekends and find some gems & buy cheap books. To seeing my family. To socialising with people I don't live with. :)

I’m looking forward to the 22nd Feb, my daughter gets to go back to nursery (we live in Scotland), I have a growth scan booked so get to see little baby again 🙂 and the government are due to put out a roadmap of leaving lockdown that day, so hopefully there will be some end in sight 🙏🏼

Good luck with the move! I moved in the summer and it’s a great distraction - and it’s so fun to make the place your own. I’m so much happier than I was than in first lockdown in my tiny 1 bed (3 rooms total ) flat! A garden will be amazing when it gets warmer that’s the one thing I still don’t have!

Blow drying my hair later, if you’ve never experienced putting the hairdryer down your top when you turn the drier on in this weather you haven’t lived.

My children possibly going back to school and nursery from 22nd (will find out Tuesday, we’re Scotland). They both need to mix with other children and are fed up stuck at home.

Further than that, I look forward to having my second dose Covid vaccine at the beginning of April. I just want the time to fly in so we can all start to get back to normal and also so my husband and I can start trying for baby #3.
