I can't wait to get my hair done! I want a bob!!!

And I can't wait for Christmas, to see my family and for it to be my babies first Christmas 😊

My husband coming home from deployment just before Christmas! We weren’t sure if he’d be able to be home in time but it’s now confirmed so yay!

The best ending to 2020 for me.

I know with everything that’s happened this year, sometimes it seems like there’s not much to look forward to.

But I have been trying to find little wins and things to be positive about, so tell me, what is something you are looking forward to?

Mine is getting my hair cut when we are out of lockdown. I’m going for a totally new style so I’m quite excited!

I suffer from SAD and I hate this time of year, especially when the clocks go back in October.

However I am looking forward to the winter solstice and the shortest day on 21st December. From that point on the days will gradually become lighter of a morning/evening, as well as getting much warmer

Blow drying my hair later, if you’ve never experienced putting the hairdryer down your top when you turn the drier on in this weather you haven’t lived.

Starting in a new job second week in january. I'm leaving a job I hate just before xmas. Hate the people rather than the job. With my new job there's a really decent bump in salary and is closer to home💃

My Dad has been in hospital then a care home since April (covid related) and they're finally taking about him coming home in the next few weeks 🥳

Also, I've been very fortunate to carry on wfh all year on full pay. I've saved all the money I haven't spent during lockdown and having my garden completely renovated in the next few weeks. It's been like a jungle since I moved in 15 years ago 😂

Handing the second essay for my masters in tomorrow, long dog walk in the afternoon and then strictly with some wine. I am pretty easily pleased though 😂

Boxing day at work. We're a small, close-knit team and seeing as we're working over Xmas we're getting a bunch of food in, shitty decorations, and some beers for after we close. Love those people, they've got me through this year.

Not feeling that nano-second of unease and shock when I watch a film and see crowds living normally. I swear my brain has forgotten that we would all walk into a crowded pub or cafe or a shop and just not even care.

I also look forward to feeling like drinking hot chocolate again. It hasn't been frosty enough for my taste yet so I haven't been craving it like I do later in winter.

I've just popped the kettle on and am really looking forward to catching up on what's been happening on Tattle over the past day, with a lovely cup of tea and slice of freshly baked banana cake (y)

Spring & Summer, just when it's a bit warmer and not as many rainy days, can't wait to go for walks with the pram/my newly walking son ☺
