Getting my hair cut on the 8th! My fringe could rival the Dulux dog and Claudia Winkleman 😂 Hopefully meeting some people at my university where I do my PhD - haven’t had chance to meet anyone or make new friends so I hope next year I can do this!

I want to be able to go to cafes and coffee shops again. I'd got into the habit of doing that on mornings I'm not working. I'm really feeling the loss of that right now.

Getting a new kitchen fitted in January. My current one is ancient and hideous.

Since I won't be flying out to South Africa for Christmas and NY, due to the ongoing pandemic etc; I will be looking forward to spending our "allowed" 5 days off from lockdown doing some vigorous "social bubbling" with my partner (y)

In the immediate future, having my nails done next weekend, and going out for dinner in the evening.
Long term: the day I can see my parents, siblings, their partners and children all at the same time!

I've just popped the kettle on and am really looking forward to catching up on what's been happening on Tattle over the past day, with a lovely cup of tea and slice of freshly baked banana cake (y)

I’m flying to Dubai on Friday! (For medical care), but still happy to have some sunshine, I’ve been feeling really anxious and depressed lately and just need to escape for a bit...

Looking forward to the Winter Solstice. After then the days start getting a little bit longer. I really notice it that first week of January and for me, it fills me with hope.

Not feeling that nano-second of unease and shock when I watch a film and see crowds living normally. I swear my brain has forgotten that we would all walk into a crowded pub or cafe or a shop and just not even care.

I also look forward to feeling like drinking hot chocolate again. It hasn't been frosty enough for my taste yet so I haven't been craving it like I do later in winter.

Christmas. This year has been a pile of wanky balls.
Starting a new course in Jan! I can’t bloody wait to learn again!

Same!!!! I had massive amounts of unease watching Miracle on 34th street yesterday as no one was social distancing! Swiftly followed by disgust at how spoilt the child is.

My husband coming home from deployment just before Christmas! We weren’t sure if he’d be able to be home in time but it’s now confirmed so yay!

The best ending to 2020 for me.

Hospital appointment Tuesday, (ENT) but I only found out Saturday, talk about short notice, probably due to Covid.

I'm have an appointment to get lash extensions on the 16th, eyebrows and bikini wax on 18th.. I'm genuinely so excited, I don't feel like 'me' these days.

My g/f is coming up to spend Christmas with me when the tiered lockdown is temporarily lifted for 5 days on the 23rd.

So looking forward to that, and will certainly make Christmas Day far more happier/noisier having someone else to share it with me.

Technically she will have to go back on the 27th or 28th, but with New Year's Day just round the corner............Hmmm... technically....;)
