I guess they're flying out tomorrow Jan 6. Sofie has bought a ton of US cleaning supplies to lug back.
She just said in her Instastories it's been 7 or 8 months since she posted on YT and kinda wants to go back, but editing and adding subtitles is boring and time consuming. She put up a button to ask for YT content ideas, though.Anything interesting going on? I feel so left out not being able to see stories anymore 🥲 and is she planning on posting to YouTube? I seem to recall that after 6 months of not posting to YouTube it affects your ability to monetize…
I bet its something like kacie and her trips. The phrase "on different paths" with her face made it sound like a really bad ending
Well, she finally lets the cat out of the bag that she's not working anymore, her and her job "were on a different path" and she teases some big life change that she'll announce in the next video. Maybe it's related to her being a full time influencer, I'm hoping for something juicier.
Got pregs again in 2024 maybe?

Yeah, I liked her "figuring things out" life in Italy content too. Her vlogs to different cities. I even enjoyed her "cappuccino con..." her niece and nephew.Random question, but when you all first discovered her, did you at one point actually enjoy her content? What made you change your mind? Because sometimes I find her old content kind of nostalgic, since it was around the time I was about to go to Italy/lived in Italy.
I related to her a lot more when she was complaining about having moths in her cupboards (when I lived in Italy I discovered that it was possible to find bugs in spices like peperoncino lol!) than her complaining about having to install an entire kitchen in her Florence apartment. When she moved to the US and started posting videos like "I spent a ton of money at Whole Foods" was when the "witch-eating-crackers" feeling set in.
right? I still can’t comprehend how she and Emilio managed to snag that townhouse when she didn’t seem to be working full time. Does EF tours pay Emilio that well? Guess so.Yeah, I liked her "figuring things out" life in Italy content too. Her vlogs to different cities. I even enjoyed her "cappuccino con..." her niece and nephew.
I tuned out after she moved to the US because it was boring. I know what life in the US is like. Then I was momentarily curious about her move to Florence. But once I saw the pricey new appartamento and then her pushing Sunday Riley while not stating on camera she worked for them, wellEver since her content has appealed less and less to me, especially the new mother stuff bc again, I don't relate or care lol.
Also I guess there are some influencers I know are very wealthy to start, and whatever. I choose to view their luxury lifestyle. I don't know if Sofie hid hers initially or came into some inheritance before turning to brand contracts, ads etc. But clocking the thousands of euros she wears much of the time is strange to me given her early videos and life in Rome.
Remember she had a menty b after that Rinascente pop up event she had to organize? I'm not going to drag her for it, but I'm speculating she couldn't handle the pressure of that job. I've kind of thought her whole "pre maternity medical leave" was connected to her mental wellbeing which probably affected the fetus. Didn't she say the baby had some issues early on with growth or something? She would have been making close to six figures with her Sunday Riley job, there must have been a big falling out about her new role from the early 2023 promotion or maternity leave. I cant imagine her giving that money up easily, or all of the fancy events she was going to. She also said the reason why they moved back to the US in 2019 was so she could advance her career.
And her reason for leaving the US was the position, she was excited to "expand and learn new things". I feel pretty bad for Emilio just getting to the US after dealing with green card stuff and he had basically just gotten his real estate license, just a few months before they left. She would have been making close to six figures with her Sunday Riley job, there must have been a big falling out about her new role from the early 2023 promotion or maternity leave. No, I believe her when she said she took maternity leave, and that medical leave pre-maternity. Just my feeling from how she spoke in that video explaining her contract and her early preg problems. Plus she promoted an article about how amaaaaazing SR is to work for if you're pregnant sometime around when Kaia was born. So it was probably sometime during her leave when she cut ties. I wish she'd do a storytime on that. And her reason for leaving the US was the position, she was excited to "expand and learn new things". I'm sorry she had a "menty b" (love that @Denise0211) when she was pregnant, I wouldn't wish her harm or harm to her baby. But do you think she left before she went on maternity leave?
I was right about the house. A very large apartment. Quits her job as they buy an apartment, lol. Fuq off.Got pregs again in 2024 maybe?
Probably something about her new tours with Emilio. Or maybe they've bought a house.
How privileged she could decide she wasn't vibing with working a 9-5.
Edit: oh snap, same tour thought @emm![]()
It's pretty big (is their current place a 3br?) plus it will be probably a 70k reno redoing everything and paying the architect, geometra etc, so maybe more. I'm trying to see what area it is, but the quick window shots don't really say anything to me.This new apartment looks smaller or around the same size as the one they’re currently renting. Unless this apartment is in a very nice neighborhood it isn’t that impressive. I thought she would want an actual house or a larger place.
I like how she had to add in them hiring an architect lol
