Looking for engagement? How Italian is she if she doesn't know this? I'm sure her father at his age only celebrated La Befana when he was a kid, since I have students younger than him who did just that. No gifts at Xmas.
For someone who grew up across two cultures she is very ignorant, Spain also has a celebration on4he 6th(doesn't she speak Spanish?) other European countries also have other Xmas traditions, why on earth would everyone do the same as she is used to in the uk? (Or she is just playing dumb to appeal to her American followers ? But I don't think she's that intelligent tbh)]
Am I the only one who thinks it’s odd that she is on vacation still? I love to travel but after some time I just really miss home. And Antonio is with her all this time, doesn’t he have to work?
No, I just came here to ask how long her trip will last. It's been a month more or less! Also her content is boring, lol.
I like food travel content but even hers isn't good, most of what she seems to eat is just junk food you could get anywhere. I cannot imagine living in Italy, travelling to Asia and ordering pizza and nachos
Yes, same! Lol. All I kept seeing were tacos, nachos and drinks. Maybe saw some local street food, but when her mother was there they seemed to eat in "International" hotel restaurants with basic dishes you find anywhere.

Anyone remember a woman named Sara(h), I think (?)who was doing food/cooking content? She moved from Bologna to Genova, then back to the US to be with some American ex or friend, IIRC.
What ever happened to Elisa not Alyssa? I actually found her obnoxious, but she seems to have disappeared and had zero direction in terms of content. I saw on tik tok a while back she got married in a very tacky "My big Gypsy Wedding" style gown and celebration, but , boh.
Anyone else? There was another American woman living in Cinque Terre who broke up with the Italian she moved for. Riviera Diaries maybe? Last I remember she kept putting off returning to Italy bc she met her "soulmate" while home in Nebraska.

Elisa and I used to chat every so often when I lived in Italy for a year. I appreciated her being a shoulder to cry on when I was struggling with some culture shock and language barrier stuff. I haven’t kept up with her other than I would sporadically see her talking about work on Instagram. I think she was in a short film of some kind a couple of years ago and maybe she did voiceover work?? Not sure.
I am not familiar with the Sara(h) you mentioned. And I remember when Abbie went quiet on social media for a long time and popped back up in Portugal.
What about Anastasiya (ex friend/roommate of Zoey)? after Zoey left Italy I think A was trying to create a fashion line (“I am Tassana Laapey” it was called) and she made a bunch of videos on traveling to Italy post-lockdown. I think her new channel is called Stay Fabulous. She did a live a year or so ago and she conveniently ignored my question about how she lives in Italy on an American passport. I’m pretty sure she was Schengen overstaying for a while.

I’m willing to bet that Anastasiya is a “hobosexual” - she latches on to a partner so she has a place to live. I don’t know how else she can afford to live in Rome. Her and Zoey shared a bed in a one bedroom apartment in the centro storico because they couldn’t afford anything else (and even that was expensive).

@moronglace Yeah, Riviera popped up on tik Tok for me a bit ago too, and I had forgotten all about her. So I did a deep dive on her recent youtubes lol. I can't imagine what the break up was like since it was such a sweetheart deal: home, job etc. Her whole life revolved around him and his family. But since, I keep seeing her reaching out (commenting) on a lot of other Italy expat pages.
