Omg Kacie and her not wanting to leave the US. She hasn't even tried assimilating. Yeah it can be hard, but it's like she lives her US life there as opposed to Sofie who at least has integrated.

That said, I agree people in her comments were annoyingly wild about her maybe getting engaged. Hundreds of "get your nails done!" "Oh, no ring??" Ridiculous

I wonder what will happen long term, she clearly doesnt want to live in italy and has given up a career she obviously loved as well, i would imagineni would start to feel resentful tbh. The engagement thing must be annoying but I imagine most of her american fans follow her for this imagined ideal of an romantic Italian boyfriend so it's not surprising. Also her post about Fanta. I've literally seen that exact thing all over social media for months, like with so many of these American living abroad posts they're all just constantly the same. Ditto the thing about American bathrooms

Yeah, I think from her saying she literally tried changing her flight AT THE AIRPORT she and Dario should have a serious talk soon.

Lol, I feel like Kacie already did the bathroom thing, just like how she repeated the "preservativi" thing.

Yeh that seems crazy. Also surely she could go back to the US more than she does anyway? I get that flights are expensive but her company is based there so it could be a business expense surely?

This is so cringe. There are so many people on social media that do clearly work a lot, make an effort with what they post etc. Research things ... she just posts what she would be doing anyway...yes maybe editing takes time but... I would also love her to address what her partner does (as I have said) I would assume he earns a good income or she wouldn't have quit a stable job to move there to be with him so quickly

Also just blocking people... if the criticisms weren't valid she or her fans would reply and counter them.. the people who block accounts (other than racism etc) imo are just scared of being called out

I, like @emm would like to know what her boyfriend does. I just find her antipatica in general, always moaning about something. Like this latest trip, for example. She started not liking Manila and finding it dodgy and then posted the stupid bit with her BF being disgusted by .... Philippine breakfast. "Hahaha, he's so Italian! No cornetti!" It's such an ignorant attitude and not funny or cute. But yay, content! It just seems like they hadn't researched much and are just there to swim and eat.

Also, while I don't support outright insulting or OTT behavior, like threats etc, that comment wasn't even awful! It was calling her out. That happens when you're on social media but she seems to think everyone just needs to like her?

No exactly, I was looking at the comment like "that's worth blocking over"? Facebook's platform is all kinds of stupid so I can't easily find the post it came from. I'm curious to know what they were referring to when they said she was "fare le pippe mentali". All they really said was that they don't like her and thinks she is portraying Italy in a stereotypical way?

@moronglace I think the tours are new-ish from the past year or 2, at least from what I've seen in her stories--but don't quote me lol. I don't know why but they don't look appealing to me.

And she promotes her Rete 4 show every week in her stories (not sure why I click them all) though I've never watched. 😅 Maybe I should, I might change my mind about her.

And yeah, who knows re: the blocked person. Lauren says that person always left comments, which makes me extra curious.

Btw, I assume we should get ready for lots of Sofie crying about it being Xmas and she's not with her mother. And evidently not going to Rome or Calabria bc she said she can't travel (by train?). This was in her AMA I think from the other day. Just her and Emilio and starting new traditions. Lol

She can't travel by train to Rome from Florence for Xmas but can for a pregnancy photo shoot... Guess which one she doesn't pay for 🤣

Omg I saw this. Also, I presume, the channel chose her because of her social media presence. Imagine then the fact she doesn't even publicise it. So hard working of course. I can't imagine doing something like this and not putting it in my diary "make sure you..." quelle surprise people think influencers don't work 🤣

Yeah, I thought the same thing. I briefly mentioned this a few (many? lol) pages back somewhere, but the whole thing is just crazy to me. His asking (and I can just imagine that very serious convo /s) for me is 🚩🚩🚩 It's giving Kylie vibes in that the honeymoon phase will eventually end.

P.S. oh THAT video. I found it really offensive and completely unrealistic. She should know that everyone isn't a figlia di papà and can "just invent something." Also she reeks of boomer-esque individualism with the "If you just work hard enough you to can..." BS.

Yeh really, basically he had seen her found her attractive and wanted to meet her... and she almost immediately gave up her life to be with him.

Also since we're on the topic of Lauren. Her content is strange to me. @emm first asked if anyone had seen her and what a nice life she seems to lead, when I looked (and still check in), it's mainly about her. She doesn't offer much insight or info. It's stories of her partying with her BF and friends, swimming in Puglia or Sardegna or other enviable places, close ups of her face, body shots, Kardashian style ass shots, going to parties, having designer logos, visiting cities "for work" but again focusing on herself rather than a place. So yeah, I can see why people question her purpose other than self promotion.

So maybe this isn’t fair because it was in March of 2022 so maybe she’s different now… but I found an interview of hers on RaiPlay and it’s stunning the difference of how she speaks in an unrehearsed interview vs. a YouTube/TT rant from recently.
She graduated with a degree in Italian but she couldn’t translate “head over heels”? In this whole interview her speech is very basic and she seems to barely answer the questions. She doesn’t appear that enthusiastic or personable and her opinions are very superficial.
