It annoys me Sofie seems to be friends with those 2 ditzes. Of the 3 only one speaks the language, has an actual job and is integrated. Sofie has her flaws but it's a strange friendship, IMO.

And lol...I agree with your ideas about Kylie. I'm sure Kylie would also take jabs at the beauty industry, despite her actually owning Chanel and YSL products lol. And don't forget, Kylie won't be drinking.

I would love to see that Kylie "accidetally" lapsing into Italian constantly to highlight how fluent she is, flirting wjth the waiter, making a show of not drinking and just having water and none of the apero snacks

I believe it's through EF Go-ahead tours, because I notice Kacie mentioned it in one of her promotions or I saw it on her website. I connected it to Sofie bc her husband Emilio works for them.

Yeah, I don't understand these trips myself because it's like going as a fan to meet your social media idol. Also as tour leader or whatever I'd feel obligated to be "on" all the time, but that's just me and my personality.

Do any real, non-work related friendships exist with social media types? I see Sofie is having coffee with a woman who does brand strategy for that EspressOh brand Sofie showcases, and not coincidentally, this person writes for several beauty publications. I know this is not shocking, but everything on the socials is just a loop of fakery and "in it to win it" mentality. If you didn't know what this Jenna person does for a living, one might think "oh, a caffe with un'amica." Which reminds me, I used to enjoy her "caffe con..." vlogs with her niece and nephew.

Yeah, when I saw the hat with EspressOh I knew and in the blog she posted today she talks about how she used to work “too much” in the States and now in Italy she can take things easy… well, good for you! A lot of people don’t have that luxury.

It annoys me that in her vlogs she never says she works for SR. I cringed when she said "è questo è la novità dello stesso brrrrrand." Like ok, it's all SR, we get it. Funny how she links to the products and also wrote the video is not sponsored. Not sponsored but clearly advertising. Does SR want another slap by the FTC? It's so shady.

I rewatched and it sounded like “il totale”, but her accent is so strange it definitely sounds like she could be saying “your”… also I was utterly confused the first time watching when her “boyfriend” speaks because Kacie’s words run together and it was hard to understand “pagohonhartaperfavore”.

Florentines tend to cringe when outsiders imitate the aspirated C, fellow Italians included, so I hope she actually doesn't try doing this with the way she speaks. TBH, unless you specifically like flaming hot or jalapeño Cheetos, I think Fonzies are way better.
Don't they have "American" shops in Florence? I know they do in Rome and Bologna, they sell all kinds of "American" products, including "liquid Snickers" which was at first an inside joke between my fiancé and I. He was astounded that such a thing existed, I assured him it wasn't, but then one day I did come across it here in the US as basically Snickers-flavored chocolate milk.
