It's funny because the other day I checked LinkedIn to see if she was still with SR (or had she put an end date), but as far as that goes, she still is. I have no idea!

So maybe this isn’t fair because it was in March of 2022 so maybe she’s different now… but I found an interview of hers on RaiPlay and it’s stunning the difference of how she speaks in an unrehearsed interview vs. a YouTube/TT rant from recently.
She graduated with a degree in Italian but she couldn’t translate “head over heels”? In this whole interview her speech is very basic and she seems to barely answer the questions. She doesn’t appear that enthusiastic or personable and her opinions are very superficial.

TikTok vs. TV Lauren

“I would rather spend €20 eating out than having to cook and clean and I would never cook those different things at home”

“I love cooking so much”
---
Of course she wasn’t going to go on Italian TV and admit to not cooking

Seems like Kacie and Dario are buying an appartamento? In Florence that's financial commitment lol
At that point I don't get why they don't get married? Maybe I am just cynical but buying a property in a country you aren't citizen is way more of an "impegno" than getting married, especially with her visa issues

Yeah, I think from her saying she literally tried changing her flight AT THE AIRPORT she and Dario should have a serious talk soon.

Lol, I feel like Kacie already did the bathroom thing, just like how she repeated the "preservativi" thing.

Remember this video? It came up on my recommended.
I'm not really sure what the point of this video was... if it was just to test her pronunciation, Emilio picked terrible words.
Instead of just doing single words, I think a harder one would be to read aloud from a book, and drink for every word you mess up the pronunciation or emphasis (emphasis is a BIG one when I'm reading out loud and encounter new words). Kind of like when Italians graduate and do the papiro... although by that time I'm pretty sure they're already drunk...

Also, it's a known rule simply "thanking" and tagging any business that gives a freebie or discount doesn't cut it. I highly doubt Sofie and KR paid for their rooms. This really annoys me, as otherwise I don't have many issues with Sofie. She has a new post about the Carnevale weekend. Two links below:

I'd say, YES! LOL. GTFO with that shite. It's not a "rule." If you "hate this rule", don't do it. I don't and nobody I know does, except yeah, our suocere. I'll have to check out more, too, but she seems indoctrinated by "archaic Sardinian island life." At first I thought it was ironic, but...

Ahahaha. Ok Kylie 2.0
Oops yeah there’s a tradwife hashtag right there

Do you think she knows the implications of that term?
---
Because she used it in those older reels but not in newer ones…

@moronglace That was pile? I saw that comment but hadn't noticed who wrote it. He's (I think male?) so strange and really on every expat in Italy's page!

It annoys me that in her vlogs she never says she works for SR. I cringed when she said "è questo è la novità dello stesso brrrrrand." Like ok, it's all SR, we get it. Funny how she links to the products and also wrote the video is not sponsored. 🙄 Not sponsored but clearly advertising. Does SR want another slap by the FTC? It's so shady.
Yeah I’m not sure why she shies away from saying she works for SR when it’s in her IG profile? The last few times on her YouTube she hasn’t stated that she works for them.

I see Sofie has a new vlog, but it seems like a hike I saw a bit of in her stories a while ago. If K doesn't post maybe I'll watch later tonight.

Yes, that's her. Quirky Katie lol

I always thought Anastasiya was Czech. Lol. I always skipped her in vlogs bc she was always loud and annoying.

Years ago expat pages were so much more "pure." Now most start out rich (like Shayna) and/or are just greedy promoters looking for freebies and the monthly payments.
Anastasiya is Ukrainian but she moved to the US and went to school there and eventually got an American passport. She’s extremely loud and annoying and you can tell in some old vlogs of Zoey/Sofie that A is insecure.

Sorry to bring it back to an off topic YTer but

Her mom is a Mexican immigrant, she could at least try to be outraged a bit by talks of deporting immigrants (we know which ones), she puts on like she’s proud to be Latina but she’s white passing so 💁‍♀️
Also she is pretty obviously a sugar baby lol
Good thing she has found a new rich daddy, he can take her to Japan or Europe, or she can use her Mexican dual citizenship to avoid any oppression that might come from the new regime!

Anyone else being constantly recommended content by Lauren quacquarelli? English girl with an Italian dad living in puglia with her Italian husband. I'm so intrigued by her life, she doesn't seem to work at all but is constantly in fancy restaurants etc. I assume paid by her husband?
She pops up on my IG all the time now and her voice grates on my nerves. Yeah, I noticed she doesn't do anything but go to restaurants and on holiday (booking next holidays while on holiday lol). I get the feeling she's Daddy's princess (€€) and gets a bunch of sponsorships/contracts. From the little I've seen of her husband he seems like a freeloader? Lol. He's young and kind of grezzo, I'm not sure he pays for her Chanel.

I've never done pilates in a studio, but it's crazy how much the pilates machines look like BDSM rigs or torture devices.

Also peep resident creeper pile333 in the comments asking if Sofie has ever MEASURED HER LEGS?? Dude wtf kinda question is that and who ARE YOU

Wow, I didn’t know that it worked like that! I assumed she was able to get an international license when she lived in Rome.
Imagine getting your car impounded until you pass the drivers test. From what I’ve heard it’s pretty brutal and even Italians fail the practical exam!
I assume she got her Int'l (IDP) permit before she got there. The minimum. At least I hope lol. But in any case she was driving for a while. 😂

And yeah, that colleague really effed things up for the language school since she was going all around VR-VI provinces to teach in various businesses. Oooops.
