I can't seem to find the tweet, they must have deleted it - the comments on that subreddit are also usually incredibly hateful and directed - but why oh WHY would you tweet this?!
I think she's trying to come across as an ally, but her tweet is a bit ironic, no? Perhaps she should have taken her own advice and not said anything about it.
Also this is a class issue! An assault happened and he was not escorted out of the building and has had no repercussions except for people saying it was wrong, one rule for us and another for rich celebrities. Sofie tries to be an activist so I am shocked they've made it about race? Not commenting on an act of physical violence from a RICH CELEBRITY because of his skin colour just rubs me the wrong way.
I checked their twitter this morning and the tweet was definitely deleted, their twitter was also public. I've had a look at their mentions and it seems like people of reddit have taken to twitter to share their opinions about this, I imagine DMing Sofie too. Seems a bit frustrating too because some people have really good opinions on the tweet and are giving VERY good counterarguments to it, but people from reddit tend to just be commenting on their weight and gender.

It's rather annoying, as Sofie's tweet seems to have triggered such backlash from right-wing, fatphobic misogynists on Reddit and other forums.
Sofie freely admits she doesn't care about the environment so she can't even see the problem with it. Pretty sure she also said she doesn't really care about fast fashion and dismantling capitalism because she 'deserves to buy cheap stuff to make herself feel better about being ~oppressed' or some tit. One thing she shouldn't be able to overlook is the exploitation of vulnerable ppl in garment factories - but I bet Sofie's got an excuse for that one too. It usually boils down to 'nothing is my fault, I'm just an innocent consumer, corporations are to blame and my life sucks, therefore I will stop caring about the impact of my consumerism on anyone else and do whatever is easiest for me'.
I had the same argument on a Facebook group the other day when someone was showing off their Shein crap. Apparently that’s the only place Americans can buy plus size clothing so you’re not allowed to point out it’s unethical or that poor women made your tit in sweatshops. Fair enough if you don’t care, just don’t pretend to be a feminist when you wear your poorly stitched crap that you think is ‘cute’.
