And just for some clarity nicu is intensive care and scbu is a lower grade. My son was born with a lung tumour and was in scbu at the same hospital that Jen's little boys are at whereas the nicu unit was the set of doors next to scbu.

That's why the boys were transferred because The Whiston doesnt have an nicu but Arrowe does.

I think what you’ve said hits the nail on the head though - no one cares if she’s gained weight or not. With what she’s going through, it’s totally understandable. I gained 2 stone while caring for my Dad and after he died as I’m an emotional eater. But I’m not on Instagram preaching about eating the sodding rainbow, how healthy veganism is and pretending I’m still Miss Slinky from 5 years ago.

I'm a classic tale of losing loads and gaining it back. its inevitable with dieting unfortunately. you cant maintain that plan once at target unless you starve yourself and have no life.

I had the pleasure of being passive aggressively being bitched about by her when I started to talk about the negative effects diet culture has had on myself and so many others. I gave all the scientific research and stats and yet was told I was greedy, the plan works if you stick to it etc etc.

you just have to be gracious and honest when your weight comes back on,you're only human and it happens no matter how hard you try. some people choose to hide it and ride on the coat tails of their past glories, maybe in time they will just accept how they are but the truth hurts and sometimes people doht have the capacity to accept that.

it's a shame because back in the day she was alright. insta fame can be a crappy double edged sword and far too many have fallen foul of the need to be publicly liked and worshipped and will keep up.a facade to keep that spotlight on them.

I’ll be honest I always thought her sister looks/sounds like a right hard faced cow. The type of lass who would rip another girl’s face off and hair out her head for looking in her direction. She certainly comes across that way on social media.

Those children must’ve been on cows milk being premature, mustn’t they? She wouldn’t have been able to provide enough breast milk so early on and so quickly so I wonder if they’re still be vegan. I think it is the most irresponsible thing to do to young children personally and actually had a debate with jsg about this didn’t go great

You can get donor breast milk if you're not making enough yourself.

Yeah I get that, it’s why I try to avoid telling people I’m vegan unless absolutely necessary as they have such a bad rep because of people like her. It just makes me twitchy when people try to imply you are harming your child by giving them a cruelty free, healthy diet

Yeah definitely, your not taking from anyone else by breastfeeding. Also most vegans don’t have an issue with formula if the baby requires it. I was unable to breastfeed despite trying for 6 weeks and my daughter really didn’t get on with soya formula so we had to use a “normal” one. Obviously I would avoid it if I could but you have to feed your baby so you have to make a choice, no one (that I know anyway) would judge you for that

Even when finally posting the truth, which she has hidden for nearly 2 years whilst profiting from being a weight loss account, she still manages to sound like smug and sanctimonious and like she’s doing everyone a favour for finally admitting the truth.

Also, less than 3 weeks ago she was boasting that she hadn’t gained any pregnancy weight. Now she’s gained 4lbs. Does she forget her lies?!

So she was already 5 stone up when she got pregnant......duh! She had clearly gained weight before her pregnancy and she was still conning us all that there was going to be a big reveal for her Disney trip ..... conveniently enough within a week of trying she was pregnant with twins...all bets off and she hadn't lost a single lb!!!! Such s little liar!!

I can’t stand the woman. Based upon actually living near and having been to her group for a few months, the smugness, the callousness (a la the sly posts that appear after others, like Emily), and being one absolute shite consultant. I was against the hiding and lying regards weight gain, not the weight gain itself. I’ve gone back up to a size 18 myself recently but unfortunately my weight goes straight on my chin/neck. Even when I’ve been a 10 I’ve had the stupid chins. Once I hit about a size 16 my chins make my face look like Peter Griffin.
See my previous comments to know I’m not in any way a fan, nor do I need the rave thread before someone mentions it, but please can we discuss her without any unnecessary nastiness while she’s going through this. An odd post now and again isn’t unreasonable when you’re sat in a hospital or rmch all day every day without being able to do much for her boys but be there. I hope her boys are doing okay.

Like you my weight goes straight to my face, even at my slimmest I have cheeks and chins! So annoying. And like you, it's her deceit that pisses me off, not the gain itself. She traded on the sw name, used it to make her money, and built her following. Bragging about eating the rainbow you guyssss. Then when people genuinely asked how she was finding maintaining her loss, and asked for guidance, her weight was now none of our business and saying it was rude to ask, and she didn't owe an explanation. Then the way she outed that consultant, *after* it had already been dealt with by sw, and they took the consultant through the disciplinary process, people thought it was unnecessary, and quite vindictive, considering she had already been punished. Not good, and people were pissed with how her and her sister spoke to them at any hint of quite polite and respectful questions or disagreement. I hope her boys will thrive, and she has support, but I absolutely get why people have an issue with her past behaviour.

I disagree with saying if you’re fat you’ll always be fat but I think it depends on how you arrived there.

My dad put on 3 stone,probably just a combo of portion size and retiring and not being as active. There was a big family wedding and he cut back on his portions and started going on the exercise bike and lost it - this was 10 years ago and he’s maintained. He’s 81 and likes to be trim. I think of this as your fopperholic school of gain/loss. He was fairly briefly fat as the result of his lifestyle in that time period and sorted it out.

Then you have the people like me and jsg. I’m at my fattest now and am in the overweight category,need to lose 2 stone and I’m currently working on it. I have done this literally my whole adult life because I am an emotional eater. I’m just too vain to allow it to go by a certain point. Food is my vice. We are the people who will most likely always struggle to maintain because it’s a mind problem rather than a food problem like my dad . He wasn’t eating because he was stressed or sad or because food was the biggest pleasure in his life. I binge eat and love the feeling of being stuffed.

again I'm not saying if you're fat you'll always be fat , it's about what cyclical dieting does to you long term, the majority of us yo yo forever more and end up bigger than when we started. it trains our brains to binge and purge, to restrict and crave, then in turn from that it becomes psychological on top of anything people may have had going on emotionally anyways.

as I keep saying this is the majority of people. some people lose it and keep it off long term,some will lose it for a while and then put weight back on. I will never discredit anyones hardworking in making that effort to lose their weight, I will always just provide the information for people to understand that it's not their fault of and when the weight starts to gain.
